Frosting Cupcakes and Baking Churro's: A Finaflex Dual-Log

Dylan -- does the donut recipe only make one donut? Assuming so, but just want to check. Making them tomorrow or Saturday.

Of all the ingredients I'm missing, it's the eggs lol

6-8 based on your mould, did I forget to include servings again... Lol I'm brutal at this some days

Macros were for 8, my mould is fairly shallow but probably the standard one.

Cheesecake recipe comes soon which is much easier to tackle,
And insane

#3, done with Snickerdoodle, recipe for the Churro version will be here soon!

So amped to start baking these.

Gonna do the donuts first and think I'm gonna try to tackle Bob's brownies and that cheesecake too lol

Haha I hope you get to try them all brother :)

You have a request?
I'm sure one of us can figure it out

No requests from me -- I'm still very new to dessert baking

I'll end up trying them all too.

You do any nut breads?

Nut breads as in...?

Like a banana bread with nuts? Or something more in line with the flavour like a spice cake bread with added nuts?

Doesn't necessarily have to have nuts. Was thinking along the lines of banana nut bread though. Just a sweet churro bread, really.

Can do that next :)

Trying to figure out a legit churro looks difficult but Im brainstorming that too

Caramel Cereal Crusted Frosted Churro Cheesecake.

149 cals/slice: (makes 8)
16.5g protein, 13gcarbs, 3g fat

Ingredients:
500g FF cream cheese
3/4 cup 0% Greek Yogurt
1 scoop FinaFlex Frosted Churro protein
2 cups Superman caramel crunch cereal
2 large eggs
2 tsp stevia
1 tsp caramel extract
Cinnamon/sugar(or sweetener) to top

Directions:
Leave ingredients out to reach room temperature before beginning.
Preheat oven to 350, grease a 9" spring-form pan
In a large mixing bowl beat together cream cheese and greek yogurt until smooth
Mix in all other ingredients but cereal.
Put 1.5 cups cereal into a bowl and crush to crumbs. Add 1/4 cup of the cheesecake mix to this, mix well. This is to bind it together better.
Place and pack this down on the bottom of the springform.
Transfer cheesecake mix into spring-form.
Spread the last 1/2 cup cereal over the top, I pushed each piece in 1/2 way.
Bake for 42 minutes, remove and let cool.
Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar
Devour.

Nicely done.

Saw a clip on fb today about churro bowls (they filled with ice cream)... Double churro bowl w/ice cream. Do it!

I was going to, but it was sad in comparison lol.

I'll go snap one, but it will only be of half that's left lol

It should look like a cheesecake with cereal in it, lol

I just get fancy with it

How did it taste?

Just starting off my Sunday like...

Frosted Churro Pancake Stack coming soon

Haha
Driven2lift 's photos just make me set my expectations too high lol. It was good, I think I just wanted it to be more than it was.

Sorry man,
If you ever want a legit recipe with protein added I can drop a tastier one.

Or pretty much do that but with regular cream cheese and sugar instead of sweetener.

Unfortunately calories taste good

My recipes tend to be very low carb, and I sub out a lot of fat

Frosted Churro Protein Pancake Stacks!

680 cals/serving (makes 2, topped)
60g protein, 65g carbs, 17g fat

I used Frosted Churro protein from FINAFLEX here, thanks again for the hook-up guys.

Ingredients:
2 cups Kodiak Cakes Powercakes mix.
2 scoops Protein
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
2 large eggs
2 tsp stevia
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp butter extract (not necessary)
Optional Topping:
1 cup light whipped cream
cinnamon/sugar (or sweetener) sprinkle

Directions:
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together dry ingredients
Beat your eggs, combine with other liquids, mix and stir into main bowl.
On a non-stick pan, preferably a small one, I like to use butter on my surface here, you can, or any non-stick. Turn stovetop on medium.
Your batter should be as thick as standard pancake batter, add more milk as needed. scoop about 1/3-1/2 cup into your pan each time.
Let cook until bottom firms, flip for another minute, transfer to plate
Top if desired
Devour.

Refinishing my kitchen table was a huge bonus for my photography, liking that so far,
Or was it better all on black like I've done in the past?

Without topping, and better table view:

I'm a fan of the new counter. Kodiak Cakes kinda match, too...

You eat both those stacks?

I ate one, my other half got the other half

Perfect macros for my meal, why not, tasted great!

Pancakes look awesome... I could make it for lunch (to your place that is lol)

Lol if you're ever headed my way just give me a heads up brother, I'll serve up a meal & dessert for you (and your woman if present)

My donut tray/pan came in from Amazon last night. I may see about attempting those tonight, but will more likely shoot for Wed or Thurs (have to hit the gym this PM instead of my normal AM, so I'll be strapped for time).

Planned on making them this weekend with the cheesecake, but Walmart didn't have any and I wasn't trekking across town when Amazon Prime exists.

Nice man!

Bob still needs to invest like $10-15 in a donut pan, too ;)

So nice to have that option once you make up a batter and then I open my pans/trays cabinet and think "sweet, i can do donuts today"

More options = great with baking

I bet I could make 10000000000 combinations of things with what I have on hand.
(Well exponents make that easy I guess but you know what I mean )

Now I just need to go ahead and get the ice cream maker. I'd talked about it before but never did -- going to do that this month or next (we're doing FPU and I'm slacking and don't have our April budget completed, but need to go through what we've spent already because a few things like my wife flying home to see her family are going to make me adjust amounts -- but I'll allot "pocket money" to pick that up next month if there isn't room in April).

Cuisine Art Ice Cream Maker. Thats what you want.

21 is the same one you have?

I did, lol.
One if the items that didn't go my way in my split. Haven't had hard ice cream in a while i can still makeshift really soft serve in my bullet though for now

I can't make oats look good, but anyone following should know that Frosted Churro in oats is bomb

cooked mine with milk, and a touch more added cinnamon and pecan halves mixed in

Of all the flavors Churro makes the best oats. Strawberry makes some kick*ss sludge though.
