Shyamalan: Unbreakable Sequel Will Be Different Movie
By Graeme McMillan | @graemem | September 3, 2010
"Even though he may have lost credibility (and popularity) with movies like Lady In The Water and The Happening, one question that follows M. Night Shyamalan around has always been whether he’ll ever make a sequel to Unbreakable, his second (and, in my opinion, best) movie. After years of teasing, it seems that the answer is yes… and no. Shyamalan will be making the movie, he says, but it won’t be an Unbreakable sequel. Confused yet?
Talking to MTV, the director explained:
I cannibalized the idea for the sequel to Unbreakable for one of the ‘Night Chronicles’… I fleshed it out more and more, and thought, ‘This could be a standalone movie.’ I’ll just say it: the third ‘Night Chronicles’ movie is what would have been the sequel [to Unbreakable]. So now I need to come up with a new idea [for any future Unbreakable sequel].
The “Night Chronicles” he refers tois a three movie series that opens with Devil, a movie he co-wrote and produced, but didn’t direct, which opens later this month (Yes, Devil is the movie where the trailer provoked derisive laughter in audiences). Somewhere, Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson are breathing a collective sigh of relief."
It seemed to be horror genre in the trailer. I mean between the title "Devil" the trailer it never even got on my radar as an M movie or by any means related to Unbreakable. I recall seeing that trailer in theaters and tuning it out entirely.
Yeah, "Devil" is more in line with the horror/thriller genre. It's terrible to boot, not watching it is probably one of the best decisions someone can make. That movie itself isn't suppose to have any relationship to Unbreakable. The sequel to the sequel of it is suppose to tie into the sequel of Unbreakable (it's confusing). Who knows when that will come around. It's suppose to be soon though. I too, would like to see more of the Unbreakable mythos.
People who always have something negative to say, and love negging new comers because they disagree. I especially hate it when said people are scrawny as all-can-be and would get destroyed in the gym

How about Invalid Link Removed. He seems to want to take steroids because he believes he is not masculine enough. When told to see a shrink he got defensive.

Yeah I don't understand why people were actually giving him options. Seriously the guy has to have some deep psychological issues. No one bothered to ask why he wants to take steroids for this purpose. At first I thought it was a "female" wanted to become a male which disgusts me even more. I figured that was the only logical explanation. Some of the threads I see on here are beyond explanation though.

The member that believes that it is cool to be rude and arrogant in at least every other posts.
The member that would rather post multiple times within the same thread telling a member to "do a search", "google is your friend", "I'm not here to spoon feed you" or "I"m not gonna wipe your ass for you" rather than to simply answer the question - which by the way takes less time and is a whole lot fewer key strokes.

How about guys that PM you constantly with the same question in different ways, and then when you finally think you've drawn everything out for them, they come back with more confusion and won't ever just leave you the F alone????
And then when they finally communicate that they understand, they go and post a thread asking the same question, get the same answers, and still act confused.
And I am tired of deleting PM's asking me what kind of nolva is best. There are more than one kind?

The people I talk to here are much more serious about the lifestyle and couldn't care less about diamond studs in their ears, what kind of hair gel to use, or being part of a cyber gang.
Guys who will in a thread about supplements perpetually ask for peer reviewed human studies on every ingredient, but when asked why they eat 6 or 8 meals a day will answer with "everyone knows you need 6+ meals a day to grow"
