Forskolin as bridge?

Hey guys,

I am on an epi pulse and am keeping a serm on hand just in case (yeah, you may know that if you've read my other two threads that start out exactly the same way, lol) - but I am mostly going to just use herbal stuff like milk thistle, fenugreek, etc, after the cycle (complete list not necessary)...

Anyway, I think a lot of the info on Biotest's Carbolin 19 is hype, but they recommend using it as a bridge after anabolics. I see Forslean from NSI has "250mg standardized to 10% forskolin per 2 cap serving," 120 caps/bottle, $12 per bottle. Biotest's product has 20mg colforsin per cap, apparently a double-extract of sorts bound with this and that, and 60 caps per bottle. $35 per bottle.

If I wanna give this a go post-cycle, how much of the Forslean should I take a day? I was thinking of ordering two bottles and taking 2x2 servings per day, AM and PM...for a month...total cost $25 for a month.

How does that sound? Is it worth doing?

Thanks

It could be used in a bridge...but not as a bridge. If they forsk in the supplement isnt 95% purity dont take it. Most are like 20%, dont ingest it. You will shat your brains out.

I have had plenty of it from some products, love its effect....but i dont see it in no way acting like a bridge in the sense your meaning it too....your playing hormonal here...it wont fill that gap.

I have heard of good retention without any real attention re: bridges etc with epi, particularly pulse cycles, but I am curious what yall'd recommend instead. Thanks.

I am curious as well, especially when on PCT to start taking it. Would you start the day after you finish the cycle, or wait, say, 2 weeks?

no i would take a different route and use something that is a little better suited for your application, you could always add some forskolin in the mix but i wouldnt run it solo. try 20% forskolin nutracaps or search for places selling higher extracts.

Currently I'm going to run milk thistle, fenugreek, hawthorne berry, vitamin E, potassium, fish oil, and creatine immediately post cycle. I will have Nolva on hand and may use it 20-20-10-10 depending on sides the last week.

The epi cycle is 10-20-30/30-30-40/40-50-50/50-50-50 (uses 45 pills, half the bottle). DHEA 200mg every day. Nutrition and training are pretty much perfect at this point I think.

I was just considering throwing in the forskolin immediately post-cycle. I will look at the brand the guy above me mentioned (thanks).

Hell yeah! I just noticed there is bulk forskolin on here. Think I'll do 1g/day, and 30 grams is $13.

if you have a serm on hand, why dont you want to use it?
why do you think you need to bridge? even tho using forskolin is not a bridge, why do u think u need to bridge? if i were u i would run a "proper pct" and then start over. no need to bridge.

Maybe I have the terminology wrong here...I thought a bridge could refer to anything used to retain muscle after a cycle.

I didn't want to use the serm because I feel like it incurs additional risk IF I don't absolutely need it. Then again, going up to 50 for four days I may well need it anyway, and 20/20/10/10 is pretty minor...I probably will use it.

I think the forskolin may help me keep gains. I have had pretty good results using it alone in the past. It seems to help preserve mass during caloric deficits at least.
