Congrats man! Great news, and it seems like you both really want a kid. I think it is such a more meaningful thing when it is between two people who want it, and expect it. Best of luck with the pregnancy, and keep us updated! I on the other hand, am still frightened to death of the thought of kids...lol Wife has wanted one for a few years now, but I dunno, I really like my life right now..heh
Thanks big guy much appreciated. The depression my wife went through recently was a lot to take but it happened.

Yeah I was scared as shyt as well and out it off but after our son I wondered why I waited lol. Kids are great but sacrifices have to be made but IMO well worth it.

Well I had a tad of a slip in diet today. Nothing drastic at all but def not perfect and perfect is what I strive for. For dinner the wife has been begging me for wings so we went. I had it all figured out 6 wings and a salad and I'd hit my macros and cals. Well my wings were way to hot for me so I ate my wife's which had a bit more fat per wing (sauce). So I went over around 25 extra grams of fat. Oh well tomorrow is a new day right? Carbs still came in 105g pro was 320 and fats were 150 :-/ I would like to share something with my bros that has been a struggle as of late and actually had me in a bad funk the last 6 weeks. The wife is fukcing 8.5 weeks pregnant!!!!' Finally. Three and a half years of trying two different fertity treatments and boom first round of IVF and it worked :))))) Okay enough derailing just wanted to share Carry on
Those macros still ain't horrible. Congrats on the inevitably soon delivery from the stork (still where babies come from right?).

Holy Jesus it's Wednesday and leg DOMS just kicked off....

Congratulations Bean that is awesome news!!!!

Those macros are fine one day of an extra 235 cals aren't going to be a big deal, just don't do it a lot. By the way did you make your new goals yet?

Ok Chris and Jim.....y'all didn't see this I guess so I'll post it AGAIN!

Ok. MrKleen73 and jimbuick are we still on for next Sunday the 22nd? Also is the 24hr fitness by the woodlands mall good for you Chris? I'll buy your post workout meal to make up for the extra car mileage :) and what time do you guys wanna go? I'm open any time of the day on Sundays.

I dunno what body parts I'll be on scheduled for but as long as it's not legs and I'm one day removed from legs I'll be fine either way.

Thank you bud!!!

Yes I did.
I bean5er agrees to get to below 10% body fat and my body weight with not be below 208 lbs or I will suit up in my best Zumba wear and deadlift while being videotaped and posted here and on YouTube.
This may be a bit out of reach considering I weighed 209 this am :-/

Off day today. Macros are gonna be a little off today. Ended up with a 875 cal breakfast that included 4 whole eggs,1/4 cup whites, 1/4 cup reduced fat cheese, 2 tbs natty PB on 2 high fiber English muffins. And 1/2 cup of oats. Split into 2 meals. So as of 11:30 am I'm sitting at 875 cals 50p/62/44f. Not a lot of wiggle room for the rest of the night.
Question though....do you guys think a refeed meal is necessary when consuming 100-135g carbs a day? Or is 135 high enough to not really need it.

I will have a definitive answer very shortly. I am almost certain it is a go though. I also need to look at my rotation for what is to be lifted but we can figure it out.

How long have you been low carbing it? The refeed would be a smaller one if you do it. No more than 200g of carbs the last meal of the night, but if you haven't been back on for that long you can probably rock it another week before doing so. Go with your gut and your current level of progress.

I will say give it a solid two weeks with no refeeds, them throw one in. 200 carbs or so in the evening. Refeed not cheat meal though. You know the drill :)

This morning was Chest and Shoulders, pretty quick pace except for the Incline Bench Press.

30 Seconds rest
Hammer Strength Wide Chest Press - WU 45x15, 90x10, 135x10, 170x4>315x6, 90x10, 90x10
- WOW Pecs were already thrashed that 170 per side kicked my ass! The rest was no picnic either!

90 seconds
Barbell Incline Bench - 135x12, 155x8, 185x8, 195x8, 205x8, 215x6
- these were no lock out to keep tension on pecs and shoulders the entire time so tempo was a little slower on the negative maybe 1.5 seconds. I decided after the first set I needed a full 90 if I was to handle any weight after the first exercise had thrashed me.

20 seconds rest after stretches -
Life Fitness Chest Press - 165x10, 150x10, 150x8 + 2 partials, 145x7 + 3 partials
- Pecs were just on fire and looking huge had the machine set so at the bottom it was stretching me out every rep and paused for a second there to feel the pain. These were immediately followed by Resistance band Over and Back chest stretches, 10 stretches between every set. Video below to see what I am talking about.

30 Seconds rest for the rest of the workout

Ultra Wide Grip Dips to failure - 17, 12 - Man I have not done these in a long time major pectoral stretch and activation!

Incline Cable Crossovers 90x13, 70x12 - Holy Crap my chest was looking huge after this!

DB Partial Side Raises 42.5x30, 45x25, 47.5x20, 50x15 - done with head up to activate the medial delts more. Had a massive shoulder pump by the time I was done here.

Smith Machine Ultra Wide Grip Upright Rows - 50x20, 60x15, 70x12, 80x10 - Done slightly bent over to get rear delts involved, raised bar until it hit bottom of rib cage and arms were at 90 degrees.

Rear Delt Destroyers 42.5x60, > 20x30 > 10x10 with 2 second hold at top - By this time I was done, had been hitting it for 45-50 minutes.

Haha sorry didn't answer that part. Yes I say yes, but it will depend on how you're reacting to what you're doing. In my prep my low days were 125-145 if I rembrr. I did refeeds once a week sometimes two. Just pay attention to how you respond and then adjust :)

That time is good for me. If Jim sissys out we can just go back to the other 24 like last time. Although I think Genghis grill would be worth the drive :)

Yeah I agree at 135 you can probably get away with 1 a week maybe 2 if you drop them to oh say 100g-150 grams and doesn't have to be oats and sweet potatoes every time... That works but so does a pack of pop tarts and some raisin bran...
That time is good for me. If Jim sissys out we can just go back to the other 24 like last time. Although I think Genghis grill would be worth the drive :)
Well if you are that into Genghis I can make the drive, after all you so graciously offered to pay for my meal.

I do like 50 of those banded "over and backs", and band "pull-a-parts" a day just for shoulder health. Good stuff. Definitely seeing the Meadows influence in your workouts.
Yes I do like Meadows training, and this was pretty close to his Chest and Shoulder workout from TNation. Although I initially got the over and backs from Dante of DC Training with a broom stick for shoulder health. Admittedly the resistance bands seem to offer a better stretch and more work especially since I roll them up around my hands to increase the tension and keep my arms in closer. Definitely working to keep my shoulders healthy now.
Sounds fine to me. My truck works now, so it shouldn't be a problem.

What's the workout?
We are gonna pick up and put down some heavy stuff.

Right now I am tentatively doing Mon Back, Tuesday Chest & shoulders, Wed off, Thurday legs, Friday Arms. However contemplating increasing frequency for a bit so that may change pretty soon. I am also pretty flexible so we can do whatever. I will probably just adjust the rest of my week or if an arm day then leave as is and just do an extra arm day.

2528 calories. 65f 186c 303p. Are the final macros. Final meal was 7 ounces of backstrap that I marinaded for 2 days. I over cooked it :-(.

Calves for 10 sets 6 sets of abs and 20 mins of liss cardio. My leg DOMs from Monday is severe right now. I tried rolling them after the gym. We'll see how that helps.

So I just got some news from the doctor which has made me rethink my strategy for this cut, I've been diagnosed with low Testosterone, so until I get that sorted and have a plan of action in that respect I will be keeping my calories higher and increasing my activity level to compensate. I'll have to sit down and nut out a more in depth plan of attack when I get home tonight.

very low. I've been off pct for awhile now and it's nowhere near low normal. The range they use here in aus is 10-33 and I'm sitting at 5.... Got some more tests to come next week.I've always been low normal anyways so I guess it was bound to happen at some point.

Great news, Bean! Congrats to you both :)
Thank you Kix :)

Okay another solid fukcing day. I feel like I did during the first half of my prep, focused, determined and ON POINT!

Back and calves this day

One arm bb row
4 work sets of 10/10/10/9

Smith BB row rest pause
4x6 elbows out

Close grip pull downs
2 big drop sets

Meadows style DB pullovers
3x10

DB Shrugs 3 sec contraction
3x12 these are brutal if weight is heavy enough

Did some stretching in there twice haha
Seated calves
6x10+10partials

Didn't end up doing HIIT which brings me to my question. This is why I do t do well doing my own diet, I continually second guess myself.

I've dropped 1 lb every day this week which is kinda freaking me out. 1-2 lbs a week is ok but three lbs in 3.5 days ????? Macros were 305/102/105 for 2575ish cals. A lite lower than normal.

My question for anyone really but I'll call on Kleen specifically, Im on day 8 I believe of this 100g carbs high fat does this sudden weight drop concern anyone? Should I do a 200-300g clean refeed or wait it out another 4 days or so?

My strength is actually slightly increasing. I feel and look a tad tighter but I don't want to lose too fast.

I'm open to your suggestions opinions. With where I'm at a slow steady cut /recomp should be enough to get me close to my goals but I'd rather deadlift in Zumba wear then look flat but lean. Haha

Hopefully not, I'm going to try and get my levels back up, I've got an appt with an endo in January to discuss my options. If there's improvements ill probably just wait it out if there's no improvement then well ill guess ill have to wait and see what the doc says.
I ran 13 weeks test e 5 weeks Tren ace and 4 weeks winny.
