First run at a PH - just got a few questions...

Alright, I have been on AM for a while and have been lifting/exercising even longer; as well as trying to eat great most of the time. When I am more serious and focused about training, I feel awesome and my lifestyle becomes a better routine. I have been off and on for the past year and miss training a lot. Just this past year I have finally figured out who to train to gain and how to train to cut, but even more important, I have nailed the type of diets for each type of training. Something else that I have reminisced about a lot has been basketball. Basketball is probably my favorite and sport and first love. One thing I have always been dreamt of doing is dunking. If there is one thing in life that I want to achieve on a personal note, it would be the ability to dunk; even just to be able to cleanly one-hand it would be satisfying. Whilst figuring out my training and eating regimens, my love for basketball has grown even more and I wish I could play it 24/7.

Anyway, I'm getting way of topic here. Like the title says, I feel like I am prepared to venture into the world of PHs. I have read and read and read practically as many logs as I can find. I've also been researching PHs in general for, as far as I can recall, a good 3 years now; basic actions/reactions, precautions, necessary support supps, etc.

What I would like to do, for the summer, is to mainly cut whilst maintaining or possibly even gaining pure LBM. Right now I stand ~6'2" (I will measure my exact height soon), about 215 lbs and I'd say roughly 16-19% BF (I will also measure this soon). For as long as I can remember, I have never had just a simple, flat stomach and would very much like to achieve this. Obviously I am aiming for a noticeable six-pack and no roll over fat when I sit, this is the one thing that bugs me, by the summer.

Questions -

Which PH is best suitable mainly as a cutter/lean retainer? I am also inclined to something that will give me a great alpha-male feel. Sometimes when I wake up, I feel very sluggish, and I hate that because I like to feel good to start my day off right. I intend to incorporate a 3-day carb cycling diet routine. Carb cycling has been one of the greatest pieces of fitness knowledge I've acquired from being here at AM and I pretty much wouldn't/can't cut any other way. I have learned that my body needs carbs to function; I can withstand a full ketogenic diet but not for more than like 2 weeks. This is why carb cycling works best for me; obviously I don't need to express why.

I am set on a CEL product as my first PH run and am in between H-Drol or D-Plex. If I recall correctly, D-Plex is a The One clone, yes? I remember the reviews being on the positive side; lots of fat loss, leaning out, dryness, vascularity, and even strength gain. I would really like something that doesn't retain a lot of water. I plan on drinking at least 1.5 gallons of water as I intend to do tons of cardio (I will be logging this as well). D-Plex and H-Drol are the two I'm debating and just wanted to get some intake on those who have used D-Plex or another clone of it. How was the overall cycle? Any negative sides? Positive sides? Fat reduction to LBM ratio? I've read plenty of H-Drol logs and reviews and I don't think I've come across one bad review; exceptional gains with awesome fat-reduction is pretty much what I hear.

Sorry for the long read but this will be a first PH for me and want to make sure I have everything covered. I already have plenty of support aids for pre-cycle, during, and post-cycle. I made sure to do this first. Thanks to anyone who can give me some input.

Hdrol or 11-Sterone. 11-Sterone will cut you up and reduce your waist size within a week.

Honestly, 11-Sterone is just a little too much on the high end, no offense CEL. Adrenosterone itself is an expensive compound and most people need at least two bottles for a decent run. In fact, I'm already ordering Suppress-C and thinking of adding Reduce XT for just that little added synergy, so I actually have that part of my plan covered. Now that you mention it, that reminds me to ask this question, does Suppress-C act on the same enzyme as 11-Sterone? I know Suppress-C prevents the conversion of inactive cortisone to cortisol, but the exact mechanism, I just can't remember. If it acts on the same enzyme as 11-Sterone, the 11b-HSD enzyme, then it'd practically be pointless to use Suppress-C along with it. I've heard lots of people say that it can be mildly anabolic if dosed higher than for just cutting. This actually sounds appealing but like I stated, it would just be too costly for me at moment. Plus I've had great results from Suppress-C and love it, and would rather not fix something that's not broke.

I've read so many positive effects of D-Plex, with lots of emphasis on it's repartitioning effect due to it's mechanism on GLUT4, increase in vascularity, amazing fat reduction and just SOLID gains overall. I've read logs where some experienced all these effects from either a slightly reduced caloric intake regimen to others staying at a maintenance intake and in some cases still seeing body fat reduction in a surplus state (+1000-1500 cals above maintenance). With all this said, it just seems like the perfect compound for me since I will be incorporating a 3-day carb cycling routine. I am firm believer in carb cycling and has been the best change in my diet that I have ever done, and wish I would've looked into it way earlier.

I know I will have a few more questions, but for now, I just want to end off on PCT for D-Plex. I already have some Inhibit-E, Formestane and Erase. I think I will choose one of the three, probably go with either Erase or Formestane and use alongside a natural test booster. Although I've read somewhere that Formestane shouldn't always be the go-to-AI since it can lower DHT and D-Plex is a DHT precursor, so incorporating Formestane with D-Plex would just be pointless. Please correct me if I am wrong. I'm already planning to get Cycle Assist and PCT Assist but just want to make sure I am grounded with one of those AI's. Or will D-Plex require a SERM?

Thanks for the help guys.

Pretty much the standard answer is yes a serm is ness, at least to have on hand. Cel also makes Furuza-a it's non methly and suppose to be good for recomp.
Good for a first ph or to stack. Never used either of the compounds your considering can't weigh in on them. Did just finish an h-drol cycle went well lost some belly before gaining muscle on a high calorie diet. Dropped 10lbs and four inches on my gut before adding six back def muscle.

does Suppress-C act on the same enzyme as 11-Sterone?
No. Suppress-C aka B-AET is non-suppressive unlike 11-sterone and acts as an anti-inflammatory in the body. It has immuno-enhancing benefits because it increases cytokine(lymphokines, specifically) production (which regulates inflammatory actions in the body) via lymphocyte activation; and B-AET was studied to counteract glucocorticoids (responsible for catabolism) and cortisol.
Although I've read somewhere that Formestane shouldn't always be the go-to-AI since it can lower DHT and D-Plex is a DHT precursor
D-plex is not a DHT precursor...it is a methyl-DHT "precursor." Big difference. Formestane won't affect D-plex, but you won't really need it. D-plex is highly androgenic with no real reported estrogenic activity(if any, it's very little). Not much use for the formestane on cycle, but after cycle is where it will shine.
Or will D-Plex require a SERM?

I would use one if you have access.
