Fear Of Bulking Diet....

Ok, i'm 5'8 202 pounds currently around 13% BF.
I'm looking to increase strength and size, but lean size. Already being at 13% body fat, I can't afford that going up. This makes me fear that if i start consuming a 3000 cal diet then i'm just gonna get fat.
I lift 7 days a week with a spilt chest/tris, legs, shoulders, back/bis, core, baseball workout (core and the baseball workout are short and lifhgt workouts so i mostly get the day off) ,
I also run usually 3-5 days a week.
right now my supps look like this
ON Whey(main protien)
GNC Mass XXX(only post workouts)
Creatine monohydrate
ZMA
and a multi

So baically i need help with a diet, cause everything i come up with, has me in fear of unwanted BF increase

Complex Carbs, Healthy Fats, Chicken/Fish/some Beef.

Try to get your protein/calories from whole food sources instead of powders and you should be alright. Don't worry too much about bf gain. No victory without some sacrifice.

And going by your weight, 3000 calories is your maintenance intake, not enough to gain any weight if you ask me.

maintenance calories + 300-500 is a lean bulk. fairly simple to do - its like adding in one more "smaller" sized meal.

now heres a question:

lets say u have a set diet plan.. if gains stop what do u change?

if u add more of anythign you will be up in cals but then that could lead to increase fat gain. Or do u just change the ratio of macros? more carbs less fat but try ot keep the cals the same?

thoughts???

I'd say increase carbs before cals
if that doesnt work, both.
I figure anywhich way you look at it, theres alwasy a chance on increased BF you can't get around
Just gonna have to gamble and hope for the best

i started bulking at 13% in december.. a month ago i got checked at 17% and im climbing... who cares... ive gone from 172lbs to 210lbs since then... if you work it out theoretically half / half of my gains are fat and muscle

i still feel ok in a shirt but its winter here... and im forcing myself to continue till the break of summer where ill cardio it off in 2months... too many people out there want clean bulks... bah... ive gained so much strength since the start of the year that its not even funny

Dont be naive and think that bulking is just shoveling down whatever you can get your hands on. Successful bulks are those with little fat gains. Your diet still needs to be pretty tuned up when bulking man. Lots of oats, nuts, milk, peanutbutter, whole wheat bread, stuff like that.

i rather just eat what feels right... no junk food... but good carbs... oats for brekkie... good dinners... good veggies... and tonnes of meats.. fish... nuts for snacks etc
