I'm sure everyone here has concocted an interesting protein shake with the help of their trusty blender at least once in their life. I didn't see a thread for it already, so I figured it was about time we put one together. If you have your own unique or favorite recipe for a protein shake, smoothie, etc. post it here and share it.

I'll start you guys off:

-2 scoops of natural or vanilla, whey or soy protein
-1 cup of spinach (leaves)
-1/8 tsp mint extract (for flavor)
-1/2 cup of oats (optional)
-2 Tbs light whipped cream
-2 cups of water
Blend thoroughly

1 scoop banana protein powder, 5 egg whites, 1 tsp baking soda. Whisk and place in a frying pan.
Voila, banana protein pancakes :)
Breakfast for me every day and still not bored.

Or, 1 scoop of your favuorite protein powder, 2 cubes of ice, half tub of soft tofu. Blend up for instant thick low fat shake.

My early morning breakfast shake ..
2 cups of 1% milk
1 whole banana
5 big fresh strawberries
1 cut up Kiwi
3 scoops of Muscle Milk Vanilla.. :food:

Can't forget my super duper weight gainer shake:

3 cups skim milk
1 banana, peeled of course
1 scoop chocolate whey
1 scoop chocolate casein protein
1/2 cup fat free yogurt, plain
1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese
3tbsp peanut butter

2 cups skim milk
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup natural ovens granola
1/2 cup no fat plain yogurt
2 tblspn peanut butter
1 1/2 scoops chocolate mint whey

I don't like shakes that much because I would rather eat whole foods than drink some disgusting ****, but before bed I have:

12-16oz water
1 scoop whey hyrdosolate
1 cup fat free cottage cheese
1tsp flax oil

and it is really not that bad as long as you blend it right. I'm thinking of adding some kind of foliage to it for the fiber to lengthen digestion time but don't know what I could use and still have it taste decent.

cinamin maybe or some xanthum gum has fibre in it and will make it even better

I tried this one last night...pretty basic staple of mine with an added twist:

8-16oz skim milk (add more if you don't like thick shakes)
1 Scoop ON strawberry whey
15 Frozen unsweetened strawberries
2 tbsp Light whipped cream (1g fat & 1g protein<15cals and makes a world of difference--tastes like u r cheating!)

Sometimes I throw in the old oats too.

This sounds similar to something I used to use a few years back, except it was strawberry, and I also used oats in it. I love pancakes! I will def give this one a try, as I love banana flavoured stuff, especially ice cream, and cakes:donut: I'm such a fat ass, LOL!!

I use a Magic Bullet for this but a blender will work just as well...

2 scoops of chocolate Biopro
1 1/2 cups of nonfat milk
half a frozen banana
oats are optional

The secret to this recipe is the frozen banana. Buy a bunch of bananas and let them ripen so that they are very sweet. Peel them and freeze in a ziploc. They serve the purpose of ice in a smoothie but with flavor and nutrients. First add the milk, then the protein powder, then the banana...blend using a pulse type action...enjoy.

By the way, the Magic Bullet is the best investment I've ever made...it's the only thing that I've bought from an infomercial that I truly appreciate.

Vanilla MGN Pure Isolate
1 Scoop Of Oats
A Dash of Cinnamon
Cup of Blueberries
1/4 cups of almond milk
Crushed Ice

Insanely delicious

That's what I do, some people cook them first and let them cool
You should put them in a processor first then throw them in, mixes so much better when the oats are in a smaller/powder form, otherwise they just clump and usually sink to the bottom on the blender. So much better using a processor for oats.

1 Scoop of MGN’s American Isolate Protein(Any Flavor)
1 cup of blueberries
¼ cup of coconut milk
½ strawberries
¼ cup mango juice
1 peeled orange

One of my favorites

1 scoop whey
1 cup Neapolitan ice cream
1 banana
3 tbsp cottage cheese
2/3 cup 2% milk
1/4 cup oates

..somewhere around those ratios..

Here is an indulgent protein shake:

2 cups skim milk
3 tablespoons peanut butter
2 cups fat free frozen yogurt
2 scoops protein
2 bananas
a little chocolate syrup

that itself has nearly 100 grams of protein so don't drink it all in one place, but like I said, indulgent
