favorite bodybuilders

I like Lee Haney. I think he's under appreciated for what he accomplished.

Fave today is Toney Freeman, he most exemplifies to me the bodybuilders from the past with the smaller waistlines and flowing physique. My all time fave is Gaspari hands down,. did more with what some would consider a flawed physique than anyone else in history!! And yeah, Haney has one of the best upper bodies ever!

I really don't go by how one looks (aesthetic wise) a good bodybuilder to me is one that is humble. One that doesn't think he's better then anyone and is doing it for enjoyment and personal goals. A guy that wants to beat barriers that himself and others hold against him. Pefect example is Evan Centopani. I've met them all a few times, and this guy is REAL he is a good human being and wants to help others. NOW THAT'S A BODYBUILDER

Arnold hands down, he's the reason I lift. Some will say he's ****y but I think if you don't think your the best you can never be the best. Franco of course and Dorian Yates was one of the best posers ever.

Nice man! This one is of this year tho, I think that one is a little old. Invalid Link Removed

EVERY golden era-bodybuilder! The way they trained back then makes most of the current bodybuilders look like drug addicts!

On another note my current favorite..Zack Khan
Guy just has an All-out training mentality as well as being extremely motivating. He tore BOTH his Patella tendons in his knees and trained in Leg braces!!

I agree with all of you guys. I've met Freeman, Khan, Scott, and Gaspari. They were all very cool with me and took time to talk. The most personable bodybuilders that I have met so far have been:

Erik Fankhouser:

Kevin English:

AND FINALLY,

Phil Heath - This guy is as cool as heck. I've met him a few times and he has always taken the time to really talk to me and find out what is going on in my life and bodybuilding progress.

Zack Khan is one of my Favz "YES, YES!" I watched all of his road to recovery videos on youtube. He's funny as h*** and motivates me when I get doubtful. One heck of an all around dude (from the videos of course).

Ahaha YES YES!, I talked to a nutrex rep that stopped by my gym and he said he might come out and train there for the Olympia! I sure hope so!! His approach to training is so awesome. People who have met him have said he takes the time to talk to his fans as well so this guy even though he may RAGEEE in the gym is actually pretty humble too.

Yeah I met him and when I seen him at the Arnold Expo this year I told him that his recovery videos are awesome and that I wish him luck, and he almost ripped my arm off when he shook my hand and gave me a "bro hug!" haha

Ahaha i bet he forgets that he's a monster sometimes, Kind of like he doesn't know his own strength.

Here's a pic of me and Zach at the Olympia this past year. He was very cool and was really enjoying talking to everybody.

Awesome pic damn man your pretty big yourself!

branch warren for training and intensity....love watching the guy train, gets me pumped up

as far as on stage, phil heath, old dexter jackson, and i'm a fan of jason huh's look if he dials it in

anyone really except kai greene and arnold

Ive seen Evan Centaponi in person. Its unreal. But as for a favorite I like Branch Warren. He may not look the best, but his work ethic is pretty impressive.

I love Dorian Yates, I believe he retired Lee Haney (another favorite). Took a nothing physique & reinvented bodybuilding.
All time I love Big Ron. Size, shape, & in his early years a tiny waist. I have that MD post of him on my wall, & it still blows my mind the size he has.

Today, for some reason I'm a huge Dennis Wolf fan. I think he's one of a few bodybuilders today that can legitimately dwarf everyone on stage. I kinda like that mythical factor, the thing that says "is this dude even human?"
Gotta love Evan, Branch, & Phil though. Also, who can deny Kai Greene?

Hands-down kevin levrone, the uncrowned king of mr. olympia!

Also like dorian yates, his blood & guts trainers are an inspiration.

It is an absolute mystery to me that he never won a title at mr. olympia. Also, he doesn't have the usual stomach bloat that most professional bodybuilders seem to suffer from...

Ever seen jay cutler sprint like that? :D

Guy just looked insane, sickest pair of arms and crazy chest. It seems like he loved the most muscular 100x more than any other poses which is cool but his FDB looks great just wish he would have leaned back a little more!

Andy Haman. Dude is just a great all around guy. He works out at the same gym as me so I've been able to talk with him a length. He's a pretty funny guy who likes to have fun at the gym but still gets work done. He's an excellent self promotor and I like how his guest posing routines are so different then the traditional or average routines.

Troy Alves. I got to meet him last year at the Olympia. He was the nicest guy. I got to hang out with him and others at his post-olympia/birthday party last year. What impressed me was that he would go around to all the guests and talk with them and make sure they were all taken care of. Plus I love his physique and the lack of the turtle belly.

Bill Wilmore. I didn't know anything about him before last month when I met him. He was the guest poser at my show and I got multiple opportunities to talk with him. Really open and relaxed guy. I was also impressed with his knowledge since I got to pick his brain a bit.

Franco and Arnold bishes.
