Does anyone know what this exercise is called? You lay on a bench on your stomach holding dumbells, and with your arms straight the whole time, you bring them up and back. You gotta have kind of a tall bench so ur arms can hang straight without touching the floor. Did this today with 10's and it was tough by the 3rd set lol.

Prone scaptions. They are hard as f***.

Edit: Scaptions may only be when you bring them up in front of your body, kinda like a "Y" shape.

Almost 30 pages later and Im caught up. Hopefully ABs thread isn't this bad

That is a DB row Doja. It works the same except you don't get to create any momentum because you are lying on the bench. They are tough!

Imagine you're flying. My therapist has me put my chest over a Swiss ball and hold weight as I bring my arm straight ou to the side, then a set where they come out to a 45 angle. "Ts" and "Ys" she calls them

It's isn't a dumbell row, the arms stay straight.

You hold 2 DBs, and at the same time bring them both back and up so they are right at ur pockets basically, and you keep ur arms straight. It's death to the lower lats I swear.

That was a weak point she was correcting in me, my mid and lower lats.

Doja,I think those are like a standing straight arm pull down but prone on a bench. Should be killer for the contaction of the lats and the rear delts.

They are exactly like that. Cause we did standing straight arm pull down with a straight bar and cables 1 or 2 exercises later and it's basically the exact same movement. I'm just trying to nail down the proper nomenclature. I can't find anything about them.

Dez-just had your package in my hands. Thanks bud
