I'm proud of you for staying strong!
I got everyone here helping...I am just along for the ride. I just add some extreme craziness, that is pretty much all me. Haha
I'm proud of you for staying strong!
You are doing a fantastic job. I love seeing when people get off their ass and go accomplish something amazing.
Keep on pushing. Remember, one day you'll be a Shredz/Fit Tea Endorser on Instagram.
This is legit bro! I read your whole thread! Amazing progress! Keep it up!
You keep pushing through the tuff stuff - very inspiring. Thanks for taking the time to share all this
Serious lifting - solid work!
Great log and Mirin transformation

I appreciate it man. I have received so much support. I appreciate it more than anyone knows.
WOW, you are ALL IN!Today, I woke up early and rode the bike for 80 minutes, burned 650 calories. Did my workday stuff, and then this evening I got on the bike for about 90 minutes and another 650 calories. Fitbit has me around 3300 calories for the day
Diet has been 2 oz. Beef jerky, 1 scoop cafe select, 3 cheese sticks, 6 oz chicken, and a bag of broccoli. Totals about 740 calories and 113 g protein. A little low.
Weighed myself tonight, when I am usually heavier, and was down to 170.2 pounds. Seems like a sudden loss. We will see what my weight is in the morning ...
WOW, you are ALL IN!
Will be interesting to see pics at the end of the cut, I bet we will see some abs peaking!
I hope to have full on abs...at 155-160 I should be right around 10-12% I hope. I can tell a difference almost with every two pounds I lose at this point. My sides are getting harder, belly getting much smaller but still there with my lower back fat. For the first time ever I have veins in my arms just starting to pop out. I bet at 165 even I will look way better than at 173.
Don't you have blisters on your butt from all the biking by now? LOL

That's a good point I demand picture proof if the answer is no
Take turns driving
Hate it when I do work travel and some don't want to drive for a few hours
Lol, yeah, I don't mind driving. We do this about once per week and he drives one day and I drive the next.
The really strange thing is, since I started doing all this cardio, I have noticed I can get by on much less sleep. I was sleeping 8+ hours consistently and thinking the diet was making me tired. Now, I get up with 6 hours and the bike ride really gets me awake. Today I have about 5.5 hours though so I hope that works for today, haha.

Sorry for the lack of updates. It has been a hectic week. Yesterday's intake was about 850 calories. Spent 1 hour 50 minutes on a treadmill that I've had buried in my basement for years, and finally dug out while I was emptying things out of my house and throwing them in a dumpster. Did a walk/run for 7 miles according to the treadmill. After a certain point, you can just keep going, and that's basically what happened. My hips were starting to hurt a little so I stopped. I actually feel pretty good today, expected to be sore.
Today is another day off from the weights, going to hit the treadmill this afternoon and if I have it in me, again later tonight.
Today's weigh in:
Bodyweight: 171 pounds
Aria Bodyfat %: 19.1%
Waist: 36.75"
That's a new low, now I have to try to avoid that rebound that always happens, at least for a few more pounds.
You're a machine!! I wish I had your will power. I think you're gonna smash past that rebound this time!
Thank you sir, you DO have my will power. I know you do man. You didn't get to looking the way you look without will power. The only reason I push so hard is because of everyone here, I really mean that. I've come a long way on my own and I'm proud, but you and the guys on this board have taken me to the next level. I wish I could run 8 miles in the woods like you do. Talk about a machine, I can't even do that on a treadmill.
Which is something I won't be doing for a few weeks. Just got back from my Dr appointment with the diagnosis; partial tear of the Achilles tendon in my right foot and tendonosis of the Achilles tendon in my left. Looks like I'll be wearing a boot for 3 - 4 weeks, then start a stretching / strengthening program. That's going to make my cardio interesting!
So you are saying you will have a boot, but continue to workout? That is hardcore. Just hardcore.
Sorry to hear about the injury. I hope it heals fast, maybe you should be doing BPC-157 like HGP. .
That's some Good Cardio!
Wish I had a bike at home
Seems like such a great thing to do
