Fat loss insan1ty with Sup3r-11 and Ignit3

I'm proud of you for staying strong!

I got everyone here helping...I am just along for the ride. I just add some extreme craziness, that is pretty much all me. Haha

You are doing a fantastic job. I love seeing when people get off their ass and go accomplish something amazing.

Thank you sir. I really appreciate it ....I started doing this for me but if I can inspire anyone then I am flattered and thrilled. I want to push myself hard in the hope that it helps someone else. When you hit that wall, when things go from being easy to being hard, just keep pushing.

So far today I have run/walked 4.5 miles (more walking than running). I've worked some more on filling the dumpster with trash from my house, cleaned two buildings, lifted weights, and now I am going to spend a little extra time on the bike.

My weight workout is as follows, this is the fist day of the 5th week on HST so reps are dropped to 5 and it made a huge difference in getting through the workout.

Squats:
1 x 8 x 205 warm up
1 x 5 x 275

Straight Legged Deadlifts
1 x 5 x 275

Pull Ups
1 x 5 x B.w. + 35

Bench Presses
1 x 8 x 95 warm up
1 x 5 x 195

Military Presses
1 x 5 x 115

Rope Face Pulls
1 x 5 x 70 (the pulley was actually pulling me forward quite a bit and I had to out a foot on the seat of the machine to keep from falling forward)

Rope Triceps Press Downs
1 x 5 x 50

Barbell Curls
2 x 3 x 95 (I failed on the fourth so I did a second set)

Let's see if I can get things back in line.

Great Workout! Bro

Says the guy who "failed" at running 10 miles today and "only" ran 8. I just gotta keep up with you and SFreed and I can't fail.

Appropriately, The Distance by cake just came on Spotify while I am riding my go nowhere bike.

The Distance
Cake
Lyrics
Reluctantly crouched at the starting line
Engines pumping and thumping in time
The green light flashes, the flags go up
Churning and burning, they yearn for the cup
They deftly maneuver and muscle for rank
Fuel burning fast on an empty tank
Reckless and wild, they pour through the turns
Their prowess is potent and secretly stern

As they speed through the finish, the flags go down
The fans get up and they get out of town
The arena is empty except for one man
Still driving and striving as fast as he can
The sun has gone down and the moon has come up
And long ago somebody left with the cup
But he's driving and striving and hugging the turns
And thinking of someone for whom he still burns

He's going the distance
He's going for speed
She's all alone
In her time of need

Because he's racing and pacing and plotting the course
He's fighting and biting and riding on his horse
He's going the distance
No trophy, no flowers, no flashbulbs, no wine
He's haunted by something he cannot define
Bowel-shaking earthquakes of doubt and remorse
Assail him, impale him with monster-truck force
In his mind, he's still driving, still making the grade

She's hoping in time that her memories will fade
Cause he's racing and pacing and plotting the course
He's fighting and biting and riding on his horse
The sun has gone down and the moon has come up
And long ago somebody left with the cup
But he's striving and driving and hugging the turns
And thinking of someone for whom he still burns

'Cause he's going the distance
He's going for speed
She's all alone
In her time of need

Because he's racing and pacing and plotting the course
He's fighting and biting and riding on his horse
He's racing and pacing and plotting the course
He's fighting and biting and riding on his horse

He's going the distance
He's going for speed
He's going the distance

Morning weigh in:

Bodyweight: 174.7
Bodyfat %: 19.2%
Waist...forgot to measure before I hopped on the bike, which I am still on.

Going to burn about 650 on the bike and clean my house out a bit today and that will probably be all my exercise for the day.

You keep pushing through the tuff stuff - very inspiring. Thanks for taking the time to share all this

Keep on pushing. Remember, one day you'll be a Shredz/Fit Tea Endorser on Instagram.

Lol, I don't even know what that is, but sounds like a new level of success to be endorsing anything!

This is legit bro! I read your whole thread! Amazing progress! Keep it up!

Thank you sir! I hope this thread is somewhat helpful to others out there. I've gotten so much from it, more than anyone. If it helps someone else, that's all I can hope for.

Thank you for taking the time to keep driving me. It would be easy to fall off a diet...we've all done it...but I know you guys are watching and want me to succeed, so I can't just give in. I really appreciate it.

Wow guys, thanks again for all the support. It keeps me pushing hard. You all inspire me.

Today...so far I rode the bike for 85 minutes and burned 650 calories. I cleaned out my house of a bunch of junk, went for a walk, and now I'm feeling just a little run down. I'm trying to avoid giving into a cheat meal, but I think I may do it again...I hate to, but I have been working hard and feel a little run down.

It's funny, I've been filling this dumpster and getting rid of clutter at my house that has accumulated over 10 years, and at first it was easy to fill...there was so much stuff and I just kept going. Now I have about 1/5 of it left to fill and I'm trying to find stuff to throw out and it becomes slower and slower.

Today was a work day and my work days are a lot less active. It seems that even with my weight workout I usually burn around 2500 calories per day on work days. Sometimes less.

I've eaten right at 860 calories today 144 grams protein.

Did my B workout tonight.

Deadlifts:
1 x 8 x 225
1 x 3 x 405
1 x 2 x 405 ...did a second set because I got just 3 reps

Leg Presses:
1 x 5 x 630

Bent Over Rows
1 x 5 x 185

Bench Presses:
1 x 8 x 95
1 x 4 x 205 ....almost thought I could squeeze out the 5th. Still a 10 pound jump from 2 days ago.

Military Presses:
1 x 5 x 125

Rope Face Pulls:
1 x 5 x 70

Rope Triceps Press Downs:
1 x 3 x 52.5
1 x 2 x 52.5

Barbell Curls
1 x 4 x 95
1 x 2 x 95

I think I kind if over estimated on some of the weights tonight, but it felt good to be pushing around some heavier weights. I don't think I have EVER been able to barbell curl 95 pounds for 4 reps before. My biceps are definitely feeling it now.

Hmmm...I also just realized that I didn't update my weight this morning:

Body weight: 174
Aria Body fat % : 21%
Waist: 37.25"

I was happy with that weight after cheating last night. It is hard to say though because it seems lately the day right after a cheat I don't gain much, but then 2 days later I see an increase. Things are weird like that I guess.

Serious lifting - solid work!

Thank you sir. It seems like everyone on this board lifts more than me at times...But I do what I can and just try to keep improving. One day, I hope to be a tank or hairygrandpa or sfreed or Bighulksmash or sparks2012 or...the list is endless haha.

Morning weigh in:

Bodyweight: 173.5 pounds
Aria Bodyfat % : 20.5%
Waist: 37"

It really is weird that whenever I lose weight and get to a new low, my body bounces around from that weight to 4 pounds heavier and back again. Good to see it coming down steadily again at least.

Great log and Mirin transformation
Read almost the whole log

I appreciate it man. I have received so much support. I appreciate it more than anyone knows.

Today, I woke up early and rode the bike for 80 minutes, burned 650 calories. Did my workday stuff, and then this evening I got on the bike for about 90 minutes and another 650 calories. Fitbit has me around 3300 calories for the day

Diet has been 2 oz. Beef jerky, 1 scoop cafe select, 3 cheese sticks, 6 oz chicken, and a bag of broccoli. Totals about 740 calories and 113 g protein. A little low.

Weighed myself tonight, when I am usually heavier, and was down to 170.2 pounds. Seems like a sudden loss. We will see what my weight is in the morning ...

WOW, you are ALL IN!
Will be interesting to see pics at the end of the cut, I bet we will see some abs peaking!

I hope to have full on abs...at 155-160 I should be right around 10-12% I hope. I can tell a difference almost with every two pounds I lose at this point. My sides are getting harder, belly getting much smaller but still there with my lower back fat. For the first time ever I have veins in my arms just starting to pop out. I bet at 165 even I will look way better than at 173.

Don't you have blisters on your butt from all the biking by now? LOL

It's a recumbent bike with a nice cushy seat and a place to hang my pink pocketbook.

Today's Weigh In:

Bodyweight: 172.2 pounds
Aria Bodyfat %: 19.1%
Waist: 37"

Git up a little earlier than usual so that I coukd do more bike riding. Weight is up from the measurement last night but I was probably dehydrated at the 170. The weight is coming off fairly consistently this week and I'm about back to my low or at my low.

Today is going to be a long day. I will be in a car driving with a co-worker from 8-4 PM going from one meeting to the next for a few distant meetings. Hopefully I don't fall asleep driving, haha.

Take turns driving
Hate it when I do work travel and some don't want to drive for a few hours

Lol, yeah, I don't mind driving. We do this about once per week and he drives one day and I drive the next.

The really strange thing is, since I started doing all this cardio, I have noticed I can get by on much less sleep. I was sleeping 8+ hours consistently and thinking the diet was making me tired. Now, I get up with 6 hours and the bike ride really gets me awake. Today I have about 5.5 hours though so I hope that works for today, haha.

Loss of weight plus increased cardio makes you feel amazing

Long day today. Woke up around 5:15 this morning and rode the bike for 80 minutes and burned 650 calories.

Spent most of the day in the car and in meetings, came home and hit the weights after work:

Squats
1 x 8 x 205
2 x 2 x 285 (got 5x 275 2 days ago, but I was feeling very very tired...did a second set to compensate)

Straight Legged Deadlifts
1 x 5 x 285

Pull Ups
1 x 5 x bw + 40

Bench Press
1 x 8 x 95 warm up
1 x 4 x 205
1 x 2 x 205

Military Presses
1 x 1 x 130 (total fatigue here...just left it alone)

Rope Face Pulls
1 x 5 x 75

Rope Press Downs
1 x 4 x 52.5

Barbell Curls
1 x 5 x 95 (this is a personal record)

The diet today was 1 scoop cafe select, 1.5 oz beef jerky during the day, 1 muscle milk, 1 scoop modern protein post workout, 2 oz beef jerky for dinner, and then a scoop of on select with some pbfit after dinner. Totals: 890 calories, 148 g protein.

Sorry for the lack of updates. It has been a hectic week. Yesterday's intake was about 850 calories. Spent 1 hour 50 minutes on a treadmill that I've had buried in my basement for years, and finally dug out while I was emptying things out of my house and throwing them in a dumpster. Did a walk/run for 7 miles according to the treadmill. After a certain point, you can just keep going, and that's basically what happened. My hips were starting to hurt a little so I stopped. I actually feel pretty good today, expected to be sore.

Today is another day off from the weights, going to hit the treadmill this afternoon and if I have it in me, again later tonight.

Today's weigh in:

Bodyweight: 171 pounds
Aria Bodyfat %: 19.1%
Waist: 36.75"

That's a new low, now I have to try to avoid that rebound that always happens, at least for a few more pounds.

BEAST73 - I know you are working it. I find it funny to see people saying they have to keep up with me. I'm trying to keep up with you and SFreed, Kaprice, FireTitan, hairygrandpa, habajaba and everyone else on here. I know there's about a dozen names I'm leaving out too!

I was talking to someone about this board today. I was telling them about all the support I get from you guys, and about a thread where someone needs some help on here and people are offering advice. She said, "And all these people are helping?" And I realized how unexpected it is to have such a group of people who are so totally awesome - just helping each other, supporting. And I was actually really proud to be part of this, truly.

16x is coming soon! Keep it steady, don't break down or break yourself. I'm been on a diet break the past couple weeks. Hovering around 160. Gonna do a 4 week mini cut for October. Aiming for ~155 and enjoy the abs for a bit before a slow lean bulk for the winter. You'll be my cardio motivation when I want to quit after 10 minutes lol.

Thank you sir, you DO have my will power. I know you do man. You didn't get to looking the way you look without will power. The only reason I push so hard is because of everyone here, I really mean that. I've come a long way on my own and I'm proud, but you and the guys on this board have taken me to the next level. I wish I could run 8 miles in the woods like you do. Talk about a machine, I can't even do that on a treadmill.

Which is something I won't be doing for a few weeks. Just got back from my Dr appointment with the diagnosis; partial tear of the Achilles tendon in my right foot and tendonosis of the Achilles tendon in my left. Looks like I'll be wearing a boot for 3 - 4 weeks, then start a stretching / strengthening program. That's going to make my cardio interesting!

So you are saying you will have a boot, but continue to workout? That is hardcore. Just hardcore.

Sorry to hear about the injury. I hope it heals fast, maybe you should be doing BPC-157 like HGP. .

Yes to working out, just no more trail running for a few months. Last thing I want to do is tear it completely. I've been looking into the BPC -157 this evening and it looks promising. Of course, my Dr is against the idea since it can't be sold for human injection.

Spent 1:50 on the treadmill again yesterday. Went around miles. The treadmill said I burned about 850-900 calories, fitbit had me just over 1400. Burned 4000 calories for the day according to my Fitbit.

Then, I had a bacon cheeseburger, fries, onion rings and a small piece of cherry pie. Yeah, big meal. Today's Weigh In:

Bodyweight: 172.9
Aria Bodyfat %: 18.4%
Waist, forgot to measure, doh!

I'm on the exercise bike right now.two days in a row on the treadmill for approx. 15 miles has taken a toll on my lower body. The bike is lower impact so I am going back to that for a day or two. I am definitely hurting a bit, but nothing horrific. Stiff, aching shins and my left foot is cramping just a bit. I am NOT used to running haha.

That's some Good Cardio!

Thanks man. No 10 miles like you are doing.

Today has been busy. Got up early and spent 90 minutes on the exercise bike. I was really hurting from running about 15 miles in the last 2 days, so I figured this wouldn't upset anything as much. I was right, I think it loosened me up a bit. Then I had to go do errands which took me about 6.5 hours going from one thing to the next. During the errands I had to stop with my gf and go shopping at Walmart, Kohls, etc. And at the end of the shopping I was starting to notice I was getting stuff again and could walk at my normal pace.

Came home breifly then went and hit the weights, now I am going to do another 90 minutes on the bike.

I want to say, SFreed has given me inspiration with his attitude. He has been working hard, and I know we all make excuses, and now he is injured and has to wear a boot. I have to say, that would be excuse enough for me to just quit for a while. And his attitude in the posts above was, I don't know how I will work out, but I will find a way. Sounds hard. Sounds like a guy who isn't making excuses for working out...he has standards and lives up to them. I really respect that and was thinking about that all day today. Very motivating.

Wish I had a bike at home
Seems like such a great thing to do

I am lucky. I've acquired a bunch of equipment over the years. I dont go to a gym. When I was in HS I would get weight lifting equipment for Christmas. I have a powercage, a lat pull down, a leg press, 2 Olympic bars and about 1000 pounds of plates at my parents house a few miles away from where I live. Wish I could move it to my house but my basement is too small. I have a treadmill and a recumbent bike at my house though. The bike I picked up on craigslist for $200 and it was essentially brand new because people buy stuff and never use it. It probably cost 350-400 new. Not quite gym grade, but good.

To be honest though. i am starting to like going for runs outdoors. You can find a ton of places to go running or walking outdoors. Through a neighborhood, through woods, around schools, in parks, recreation areas, etc. But it is nice to have indoor equipment on rainy days like today.
