Doing my thing - morning weigh in - 180 pounds even. That is 4.5 pounds less than last Friday. I normally figure 3.5 pounds/week is around where I should be, this was a good week. My waist was at 39.5" still, but I had some things going on and wound up forgetting about it and had a huge glass of water before I remembered. It may be slighlty smaller than that now.
I broke out a second bottle for the new pump so that I don't have to estimate. The joint pain is subsiding, even at 4 pumps/day. I'm probably going to stick with 4 for a while and see how it goes.
brundel - I've also noticed that some yellow powder will come out of suspension from time to time, I was wondering - would waiting 10 minutes and then following up with just some hand sanitizer over the same area help absorb anything that was left behind? Or would that be useless?
The yellow stuff is Chrysin. There is a TON of it in there. Enough that some of it is in suspension meaning there is as much as possible dissolved in solution and then more added for good measure. Formeron was almost entirely a suspension meaning .....maybe 5% or less was in solution. Formestane is terrible to work with. Thankfully the ingredients we are using now are much more forgiving and all will go easily into solution.
This also means that using some alcohol based hand sanitizer after is MUCH more effective than with FOrmeron and it worked well with formeron.
You SHOULD do it for sure. Make sure to rotate application sites. Like one day left one day right one day inner thighs etc. This way your skin doesnt get too dry.
So I have decided to try a different dosing schedule. 2 pumps in the morning, 1 pump in the afternoon and one pump at night. Put my afternoon pump on a little while ago. Hoping this will maybe have more effect...don't know.
Sorry for the no updates guys. I've been crazy busy since this weekend and haven't been online much. I had a funeral on Saturday and a lot of other things going on and wound up going off the diet for another cheat meal. On Sunday I weighed 181, and my weight AND waist have been stuck at 181 and 39.5" Even though I've been below 800 calories again for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, I was still at this same weight today. Maybe I will drop it all at once, it happens, so I'm not worried. I will just keep at it.
I did have a leg workout on Monday, despite being exhausted I forced myself to get it in. I started off and felt pretty week. Then I started comparing to last week, and realized I was STRONGER! Even though I was exhausted, my strength was still inching up. Not a ton, but instead of 5 reps on leg extensions, I got 6, for instance. As I said, I will take any strength gains I can get on this diet - I really shouldn't be getting stronger at all.
I've been doing 2 pumps in the morning, 1 pump in the afternoon, and 1 pump at night since Sunday. I get some flashes of heat, but I honestly don't notice the heat like everyone else for some reason....
Personally i think your calories are way too low and you've probably crashed your metabolism.
There is no reason for a grown man to need to go much below 1800-2000 calories when dieting,
especially when you weigh 181lbs.
I started my diet @ 230lbs 3 years ago
I lost 35lbs in the 1st 4-5 months on about 2200-2200 calories a day, then stalled for 30 days, changed my diet
completely and ended up taking in an addition 100-200 calories per day, and lost another 30lbs in 4 months.
Now I'm trying to lose the last 10lbs and Im still @ 1800-2000 calories a day and Im 160 now.
People that drop calories too severely, end up losing lots of weight initially, but then the body goes into starvation
mode, because your not taking in any calories and that this point, it doesnt want to lose weight, because it thinks
you're starving..!!!

Exotherm shouldn't allow you to hold a lot of water. Bloat shouldn't be an issue.
I'm pretty sure it's your diet.
This is not over - things have just been way too busy. I have to be honest, after spending 6 of the last 8 months eating less than 800 cals/day for 6 days a week on a pretty regular basis, and burning the candle at both ends, I have hit my wall. Over the weekend I realized how incredibly tired and lethargic I was. I tried to do a back workout on Sunday night and I couldn't even do my deadlifts. My back is somewhat hurt, but it was really just fatigue. I did get 9 pull ups, which is more than I've done in a long time...so that was a plus...but it was just a horrible workout. I have realized that over the past 2 weeks I have begun to actively search for sleep, which I've never done before....it is like sleep has taken a priority whenever I can get it.
Given the lack of result over the past week, the advice on here to up the calories, etc., and my crazy schedule and lack of sleep I am just burned out. I came off the diet on Sunday night, ate relatively normally yesterday and had a cheese burger at night - and I'm up almost 4 pounds just from the food weight. I am going to take a couple days and be a little less strict about the diet, but focus on mostly chicken and broccoli still and try to recoup. I may give myself a week and then hit it hard again.
When I go back, I will probably increase my calories to a new level. I will take this week to think about how to attack this - if anyone has suggestions, I do listen, even if it doesn't seem like I do
At any rate, I am still noticing some slight improvements in definition. I took some photos and there is a definite improvement, IMO. My pants are much looser, my sides look much smaller, etc. I also, despite being tired, feel pretty positive and good. I have noticed that while I'm on this and the NALT I almost CANNOT get angry at things. I'm not a really angry guy, but I can feel anger inside and hide it well, and it just isn't there right now. Things that would normally be pet peeves and get me upset...I get some minor frustration with but they are much more manageable. The NALT may be a big player here, but others have noted similar mood improvements.
My second bottle of ET started sputtering this morning. I'm at 4 pumps, so it should last about 20 days, and I just started this log 29-30 days ago, with the first bottle being 3 pumps/day, so the two together should have lasted close to 47 days. I may get about 33-36 days out of the two bottles. My guess is the pumps are just not super reliable, which is the nature of pumps I guess, and I'm going to start using a syringe or pipette to dose the product. Liquids like this are tricky and I'm not upset, but if you're planning a cycle, you may want to keep this in mind.
No joint soreness, no warmth, no sides at all. Maybe my application sites are just "done" - so I've shaved my inner thighs and started applying there this morning.
I honestly feel like 3 pumps worked better than 4 pumps....but it is hard to say with everything that is going on.
I'm my opinion just eat at maintenance and increase cardio. Keep fat high, protein medium, and low carbs. Use myfitnesspal to track calories.
I would gradually ad in some healthy fats. Don't go crazy. You basically have to reverse diet to
get your metabolism back working.
I'd also look into Epitome which will help with you Leptin levels, which iM sure are out of whack as well.
Thanks man. I was thinking that...mainly coconut/mcts and I already take 6 grams fish oils/day, etc. I think a few carbs may help too. The diet I am on is drastic and I actually like it, but I have to know when to take a break and get things back on track.
I
I'm gonna run it for 8 weeks. If you're on HRT you can run it for long periods. If not I suggest 4-8 weeks then at least 4 weeks off. Opinions on that vary.
Sorry to be a dumbass... what is HRT ?

Hey guys, thanks! I am not looking at this as something that has to happen all in one sitting. I started this journey almost 3 years ago at this point. I was over 290 pounds (at 5'8''!!!!) and I was completely out of control. I like to eat. I like to be lazy. I'm gonna do that stuff here and there. I try to focus on making 80% what it should be. The first 2 years I lost 40-50 pounds at a slow pace (obviously), I have dropped a solid 60 pounds since January/February and I'm just starting to get close....but I'm not going to view falling off the diet as the end. Just keep coming back, it is in my control, it just isn't always a priority in my life. Most people gain 5 pounds a year and after 10 years they look back and say, "what happened? Where'd this 50 pounds come from?" I figure if I lose 5 pounds a year, I'm better than average - and the ultimate goal is to get lean and then put on some muscle and wind up around 170-180 @ 10% bodyfat. That's probably a couple years off though at this point, but I will keep working towards it.
As far as the injury - that sucks DennisTheDane - I hope you get better quickly. It is funny - a lot of times when we are working out we don't wanna do it, then when we get injured we can't wait to get back at it. Human nature I guess. I want to hear about you getting back at it!
CJNator - I am hoping the Norcodrene and Shift are sufficient. I can literally go all day without eating if I just take Tyrosine and caffeine (or maybe even nothing), fasting is pretty easy for me. But obviously you have to eat at some point, and you want to make sure you get your protein and some nutrition - and when I get REALLY busy, I don't have time to make those small meals and it winds up being a quest bar or even worse, take out. Norcodrene and Shift are both great appetite suppressants.
I forgot to mention alphamax in my upcoming stack too - it will be Norcodrene, Shift, Alphamax, Epitome, TTA and of course Exotherm. I really am very pleased with ET - I used it pretty much solo and it worked. Nothing really works all that well...it is hard to notice. ET was the real deal. It wasn't magic, but it was solid.

Great man, you can be a inspiration for others; this is what hard work is all about! I ment like maybe one as a staple until you are ready to start upping calories. Either way man keep it up!
You can do it I was motivated even more when you started your thread. You can do this bro!Oh, gotcha - yeah...I'm eating a bit more right now so I'm not hungry. The diet sucks mainly because I'm so busy I don't have time to go grocery shopping and prepare food, etc. and I wind up doing too much take out. But that is just an excuse, I am aware of this....
