Epi-Strong and Carbs

I know some compounds need a good amount of carbs to really work well - is that true with Epi-Strong? I do an all (clean) carb meal one night a week and have small amounts of carbs strategically placed around workouts during the rest of the week. Is this doable for a bulk on Epi-Strong?

its def doable for a cycle.if your wanting to do a bulk your want to up your calories .

Bulking. A recomp would be nice, but I really just want to pack on as much muscle as I can. Having the calories high enough is not a problem - I'm averaging 3500 a day right now. I just want to make sure the low carbs on a daily basis with one weekly refeed can work for good gains on an Epi-Strong cycle, as I've seen some people say with other compounds that they (for lack of a better term) ruined their cycle by not consuming enough carbs. It's worked for me great so far - I'm up about 20 pounds since the middle of September and still wearing the same size pants. I know Kleen ran basically the same type of diet for his Super-DMZ run and he put on some good muscle and leaned out a bit.

I am the same weight Chris was when he started now and am running the same diet he did when I do Epistrong here soon. I think as long as you have some carbs in your diet you won't get bad lethargy and the fat loss will be pretty noticeable. I would love to put on 10 pounds and lose about 5 of fat if possible, one can hope!

I would just keep the carbs moderate and increase protein intake by around 35-40% that way you can get some very lean, dry grains that are easy to keep.

In my opinion carbs are less of an issue, when your calories and protein contents are where they need to be. I wouldn't let carbs get real low, but a lower carb content in relation to protein and fat shouldn't be a problem.

Protein and fat will both be really high every day (except on Mondays due to carb meal). Direct carbs on a daily basis consist of a grapefruit at breakfast and around 20-30 grams of carbs from oats pre and/or post workout. Exceptions to pre/post carbs are Tuesdays (day after carb meal) and Thursdays. Daily carb count ends up between 40 and 70 grams when counting all direct and indirect sources (whey, nuts, etc.). Carb meal is roughly 130-140 grams coming from a banana, oats, and sweet potato. Sounds like I should be able to make real nice gains from what you guys are saying.

As far as fat is concerned just make sure you get some around dosing time.

I'm running the same type of diet right now with Malicious Mass/Derma. About 60-90g of carbs after my work out or first thing in the morning on non-training days and one Re-feed a week (usually with the kids Friday or Saturday night) half a grapefruit 2x a day and the rest High Protein and healthy fats I'm basically looking to do a recomp
