EPI and blood Pressure medication

Hey guys, I have been on Lisinopril 10mg/day for about 3 weeks and it has a done a fantastic job keeping my blood pressure in check. I am 23 years old (a little young) and I am interested in doing my first cycle of Epistane. I have researched Epistane very thoroughly and all I have come up with is that it is bad to take with beta blockers.

Because lisinopril is an ACE-inhibitor I was wondering if it will be ok, and when it would be good to take it with epistane. I asked my doctor but she didn't know how they would interact with each other..... Anything constructive would be appreciated. (I havent bought the EPI yet, still in the research phase).
 
Beta-blockers are strange man, a lot of drugs interact with them. Most steroids will raise your blood pressure (mostly due to RBC increase and estrogen increase, leading to bloat). Having high blood pressure already at 23, I myself wouldnt experience with any supplements at all, let alone prohormones/steroids. Tough call man. If you were going to take something reguardless, though, epistane would be the best bet, as it would have the least chance in raising BP.
 
I'm by no means an expert, but I've seen a few members on here who use ACE-inhibitors at the same time as DS without any problems.

According to William Llewellyn's Anabolics 2006/7, the drug catapres (another ACE-inhibitor) is used by some pros to help with BP on-cycle.

Mind sharing why your BP is elevated in the 1st place? How is your diet? You don't seem to be overweight (173lbs) 5'7".
 
Thanks for the replies. I have had high blood pressure since I was 20. I have perfect cholesterol and I watch my sodium. I have taken fish oils, CO-Q10, hawthorne berry, and grape seed extract with no luck. On average my blood pressure was 140/90. I started taking lisinopril a month ago at 10mg a day, and it has been very effective. My doctor thinks the hypertension is due to stress and genetics (my father side has a history of high blood pressure).

I won't be heart broken if I cannot do the cycle of EPI do to my blood pressure, that is why I am still doing research. I have heard that epistane is a relatively safe pro-steroid, and so it sparked my curiousity. This would be my first cycle of any pro-hormone or pro steroid, hoping to hit 180. I have done 2 cycles of X-factor (greatest product ever) and I plan to follow up EPI with another cycle of X-factor. Body fat at 10% right now

you do have a good point. Being a hard gainer I just wanted to spark things up a little bit. I have done 2 cycles of X-factor with great sucess, but I just wanted to try something new.
 
I dont know your stats or anything, so I cannot advise you on much. The advice below is not towards you, but anyone with BP issues who wants to take a steroid/prohormone.

My advice to you as far as steroids EVER go for people with blood pressure issues is always this...DO NOT ever take anything injectable. Most injectable steroids are long esters. If you get on a long estered compound, and start having bad BP sides, you are STUCK with them for ~2 weeks NO MATTER WHAT. Definitely stick to mild oral steroids only. PPLEX/MDROL I would stay away from.

The good thing about doing something like an epistane cycle is this. Start your dosage low, 10mg day 1, 20mg day 2. Keep it at 20mg for the first week. Constantly check your blood pressure. Week 2, if everything is going OK, bump it up to 30mg (unless you're seeing gains at 20mg). See how you react. Keep doing this. Dont go past 40mg, or longer than 4 weeks.

If you start noticing your BP getting high, just stop taking it. By the next day it will be out of your system.

Do cardio in any form, even if you're bulking. Just a lot of good paced walking works. This helps your body adjust to its weight gain, and keep your BP normal.

Also i would definitely run AI Cycle Support with it.

I take it it's heriditary? I have hbp due to it being on both sides of my family. I can tell you I take a calcium channel blocker and have no problems with using anything. I just keep a check on it. I would also recommend a very low sodium diet and drink alot of water to keep sodium flushed out.
