They stop eating 6000 kcals a day, a 4000kcal diet and the abs come rolling in.... thats the stories we meso-endos tell around the fire.
 
Though I am more a meso/ecto, I find cutting rather easy.

Simply eat less and do some moderate cardio.

I eat very clean, with ZERO sugar, except honey on some oatmeal. I do cardo 6 days a week for about 30 minutes of moderate intensity ( 3-5% incline @ 3.3 speed). If I do HITT then it becomes more of a balancing act with calories b/c I start to recover slower.
Consume ZERO or very few carbs after 8:00pm.

As for supps, I like fish oil, a lil coffee and Lean Green (which is green tea extract). I also drink around a gallon+ of water a day. Besides the water the only other fluids I take in are a couple glasses of RAW milk, not the pasteurized/homogenized dead crap they sell in the store. Also, the milk is from grass feed cows and their milk contains high amounts of CLA.

Overall, it still is 80-90% diet and an hour of training 6 days a week. Having a very strict diet makes it go quick.
 
what about goin zero carbs ?

If you were to go that route, I would make sure you are getting enough good fats (Natty PB, Almonds, Flax Seed Oil, etc.). The last thing an ectomorph (or anyone for that matter) wants is to restrict too many calories and put their bodies in a muslce burning / fat storing state.
 
zero carbs do not work for me. I get very lethargic. The carbs I consume are primarily bananas, oats and milk. Most of my carbs come in my first meal of the day and then I try and taper off.
 
An ecto cutting is like an endo gaining weight, it kinda comes natual. This is coming from personal endo experience.
 
I'm an ecto. Low carbs/only early and mid day carb consumption. Fasted AM cardio w/ BCAAs. Lifting. Eating every 3 hrs. I've lost 11lbs. on my cut so far.
 
add cardio sessions starting from zero a week to six, adding an extra sessions when you stop losing. no carbs last meal, then none 5th, none 4th, etc. i just keep pulling it all in and down to get leaner. this is what i've done so far without any fat burners.

weeks 1-4 cardio x2, no carbs meal 6
weeks 5-8 cardio x4, no carbs meal 5-6
weeks 9-12 cardio x6, no carbs meal 4-6

i get my bf checked once a month. so monday i should hopefully be down to about 8% from the 14% i started at.
 
The only place I ever need to worry about cutting is the love handle area. I just lost 8 lbs this last month by cutting my calories to 2600 calories a day - with 7 meals and 240 grams protein. I eat low fat products and just lower my carbs.
