Douchebags at the gym...

Grunt counting out loud... Cracks me up. Are you too dumb to keep track in your head, or are you trying to impress us all with how many of those 55lb cheater curls you can do while sounding like you're going to s**t yourself at the same time?

Yeah, no matter what weight you're using it just makes you seem like a lil b****

did one of them make that hissing sound? you know the sound a tire makes when its losing air?
benching 135- hisssssssssssssss

Subaru downshifters

There is this guy today that was trying to flip this big tractor tire up-and-down in between the squat rack and the dumbbell rack. I was just standing there staring Adam like seriously you're going to pick one the most crowded times to do this

Not a Dbag..but the 16 year old "curling" 50lbs on the machine using his ENTIRE body..I had no Idea that curls could be used as a full body routine..

No offense but a lot of the comments in here make you seem like the dbags. Because you have proper form and can lift heavier without struggling somehow makes you better than someone?

Why not instead of being a tool you, oh idk, go help a 16 year old kid out? It's sort of douche bag thing to do to watch someone do something just so you can go tell your online buddies about it.

I specificly said he is not a douche for doing it..we make mistakes,we learn..He haa TONS of people around him who lift with propper form..look,learn,google,learn.That's how we all learned

Man idk about you but when I try to help someone in the gym they treat me like I'm the biggest as$hole on the face of the planet and they already know everything there is to know about lifting.
Unless someone is paying me to train them I don't bother trying to give advice.
Also don't know about you but I need somewhere to bitch about the ridiculous crap I see at the gym, is that so bad? Sometimes the things people do are funny; sometimes it's frustrating because it interferes with everyone else's workouts. Do you hate all the social media pages that post videos of people doing stupid shiit in the gym too? To me that's worse than just talking about people anonymously, these pages are actually posting video proof of the people doing these things.

I only give unsolicited advice if I think someone is actually going to hurt themselves. If somebody wants to learn proper form all they need to do is pick up a book or go online... Or just ask.

Honestly, the only people that bother me at the gym are the ones who unreasonably affect my ability to work out. (eg. People who smell so offensive that I have to leave the area to avoid puking, people who stand directly in front of the rack so no one else can get at the weights, etc.).

It all depends on whether the person appears receptive to receiving help or not. If someone is clearly struggling because they're new and just don't know the proper techniques, then anyone judging them is the douche bag. But if someone is trying to put on a show for their friends or others around them, and would likely give a sarcastic reply to any advice offered, they're the douche bag.

This is more gym etiquette than anything else.

Thankfully, I've never had anyone smell so bad I've had to leave. I did have an old man who used the same towel since Vietnam and that was rough.

Nothing you said was douchebaggery bambam. But yes. I do hate those posts.

That's not how you establish dominance. Come on bro do you even animal kingdom?

Tyre flipping indoors...between workout stations...with people around? That's not just rude, it's incredibly dangerous. That guy should have received a chat from the staff.

The "loud couple" was training last night, and the guy walked into a leg curl machine and fell on the ground holding his knee. His girlfriend walked over and instead of helping him as he was getting up, she straddle on top of his back and just rocked back and forth. Haha so odd!

Probably healing his energy

Woah... Hold on there buddy. You can't treat someone with courtesy! That makes you a wimp. Didn't you get that memo?

I didn't... I'm glad I know now, though.

This thread's gettin' outta hand.

Be mindful of making things personal folks, lest admin take a good look & put a clamp on it.

My gym is littered with personal belongings of every kind. You go to a bench, smartphone on bench, next to a towel with Winnie-the-pooh prints on it. Then you go to the cables and you find a Gatorade bottle, a plastic scoop from a protein jar and another phone.
Even though I live in South America, nobody seems to steal stuff, at least in my gym.

This girl with a big fat butt was wearing high heels and a bikini doing stage posing for a women's physique contest. She had no abs and just a big butt. Idk about you but most of the physique females I've seen on stage have atleast visible abs and striated glutes. She sure was garnering a lot of the attention from the guys though. I just don't see the point in competing if you aren't trying to get first place. I also feel that posing in a bikini is better fit for maybe your home instead of a public gym? It was just very odd and distracting is my thinking off here? I'm truly just asking maybe I'm wrong for finding it D Baggy

Could be practicing her routine yet weeks out from comp and not yet conditioned. Doesn't mean you can't work on your posing.

Yeah, checking out big booty chicks in bikinis at your local gym - sounds horrible, I hope that stuff never happens at my local gym. Or anywhere else for that matter. Girls in bikinis - blech, makes me wanna vomit.

Ew, especially when they have a big booty.

We all know, a nice girl has no booty at all.

My list of DB's at the gym:
(in no particular order)
1. Those foreign kents that obviously have never been to a gym, but decided to join because cheap new year specials - that take up the benches and all the weights and are not so sure wtf they're doing
2. The dude who says "I've only got one more set" but persists to do 3 more drop sets - and/or takes an extra long 8 minute break before that last set.
3. The douche who doesn't 'drop' the weight, but rather THROWS those mofo's - damaging the machines or dumbbells.
4. That there Ego-Air-Head moron, who uses the barbells on a squat or leg press machine, to add more weights + plates to the machine - causing the bar to bend, and being un-usable..... OH, and doesn't pack the damn weights back.
5. The poor insecure man-boy who gives you funny looks when you train, or walk around the gym, because he's clearly admiring your gains, and is jelly that he's been on juice before but still doesn't look half as good as yourself.

Puccah. Tried to send you a Pm. Says I can't. Hope all is well and was thinking of you.

Im good, darling! I hope you're doing well, too!
