Well there is a lot to fix, but a great place to start is defunding most of the Federal Government and it’s many unconstitutional agencies and revert back to the gold and silver standard.

The one thing the bill is really missing is putting policy makers who support armed thugs stealing the fruits of people’s labor in a cage, most preferably Gitmo.

As I said, we need to physically take back our country and strip all of these dirtbags from their power. When did Americans become so weak? Just because we are all so busy with the demands of life is no excuse, and only sacrifices our future. The entire purpose of our country is to not be victims of entities who demolish our freedom and prosperity.

This is supposed to be the land of the free, and the home of the brave. Those are completely empty words and I am ashamed of our citizens for everything we have been ignoring and accepting. The weak minded have been deceived by darkness, but those of us who see the truth need to fight for everyone because it’s worth fighting for.

there is only a 23% tax on new goods bought. there is also a "prebate" everyone gets to cover the taxes on household goods like food and t.p. (via a monthly loaded visa card)

most people probably pay 33% now in federal income tx. so a lot of people will see a large increase in take home pay with the ability to choose when you want to pay your taxes.

so to put it n2 perspective, if you buy a house, 0 tax. if you buy a NEW house 23% tax. same for anything else. so if you choose to buy used goods you could effectively avoid being taxed.

there is a little more to it but basically its the best thing since sliced bread when it comes to taxing a society because it effectively neuters the black market from avoiding the tax base + hits rich people a little harder because they will still build new homes and buy new sportscars.

I can also think of an easy few trillion bucks to take off the budget over the next few years spent on bureaucratic nonensense and illegal agenicies. For starters we can easily start by pulling out of all these stupid wars cutting the defense budget by 3/4th while still keeping our country the most powerful in the world and making our country even safer.

That’s where it falls apart for me. After married filing jointly and a few family-oriented tax breaks our federal rate is barely 18%.

I mean look at Texas or NH, no income tax, but property taxes of $20k or more per year don’t sound that great and won’t go away should I get laid off or anything like that.

The burden would fall harder on states that don’t contribute as much income tax. Kentucky, Mississippi, etc, enjoy! Take some burden off the coasts

No, not at all. Every socialist country has a VAT near the level that’s proposed in this bill.

Like I said, just running the math on our family budget this would severely disservice those who saved hard in their 20’s, after said taxes, so we’d have the funds to start a family, and then have to take that already-taxed money and pay 25% more for everything????

A good place to start is where is all that money going from your property tax there in Texas....the problem isnt just the immoralities of income tax, but also the immoralities of big government irresponsible spending. Im not really agaisnt "property tax" or all taxes in general for the basic needs of minimal government to be propped up, having roads, etc....but 20k more than likely isnt even nearly as necessary. I think your getting ripped off.

That bill doesnt address many other issues that Im talking about, I actually dont support Republicans they (most) are generally way to big government for my tastebuds. Abolishing income tax is a start though, but being you have concerns that do make sense to me does show me we need to do better, but you wont get that with Republicans.

I don't see how it falls apart for you. you are living in a state that costs 20k per yr in property taxes?> 1. that's your fault 2. that's also a state thing that you were going to pay regardless of federal income tx or federal sales tax. the federal burden is the same for everyone in the FairTax across all states. If your state is out of control on state taxes vote to change it or move. the federal burden cant get more fair.

you pay 18% now, every week, week after week, yr after yr.
under the FT you can decide when you want to pay taxes. or not at all.

I live in one of the highest taxed towns here in Maine, and the town didn’t even put up Christmas decorations/lights this year. However, they did start the town trash bag hoax as of January 1st. We are not participating. Instead, we are throwing our trash in the woods so that wildlife can get some special treats. The rest will become part of the earth, as it was intended to. You know, kind of like a landfill?

People should have the power to contribute to their own personal charities, and only if they personally wish.

I read an interesting article the other day, basically stating that landfill trash disposal is less detrimental to the earth overall than many of the bogus recycling initiatives/fallacies. And there is plenty of space on this earth to do so safety even if the population multiplied exponentially.

Just one key point was that “reusable” shopping bags are like 13 times less biodegradable than the material that was used for single use. Also, the cross contamination implications of using “reusable” bags are a significant health hazard.

I had a lady at the post office tell me I shouldnt use my waterproof poly-envelopes and use paper ones instead because Im killing the dolphins....LMFAO!!!!! The shyt is supposed to go to a landfill, how would it get to the ocean? If you have a problem with corrupt government policies that allow businesses to ship wasted plastics to impoverished 3rd world countries instead of putting the crap where it belongs go tell the people pretending to care about you to cut that crap out.

I live in WA st. recently they passed some BS law to fleece us citizens, now they chanrge us .08 per bag when you go to the store. Its such BS because its the states way to stop plastic from ending up in the land fill/ocean/environment. So why do they chanrge .08 cents for a paper sack then?

pisses me off so bad that I will only ever re-use a bag if its from a different store, and ADIMANTLY try to throw as many into the trash as possible. Fuk U jay Inslee. I payed for them they are going in ground motha fukkka!!!

good i wish elon would open mars already. are there mule deer to hunt there?>

Honestly I have no idea what they are doing now, but during the initial strain as well as Delta, I felt the death counts “seemed“ underreported. Simply because I had never witnessed anything that devastating in my career. That’s just my hands on perception though. I realize true data means different things to different people, and what the criteria is.

For example, I have never seen anyone die from influenza, or an influenza induced pneumonia. 🤷‍♂️
Those reported deaths are SIGNIFICANTLY altered based on my hands on experience for the last 13 years. That- is a clear case to me of inducing a panic so big pharma can make their fortunes off the influenza vaccine. And that has gone on since I don’t even know when…haha!

Have you ever heard of anyone in your personal circle or contacts dying from the flu? I certainly haven’t. Have you ever personally heard of someone you were affiliated with from your actual life dying from COVID before Omicron? You bet!
