We offer the pledge that Ukraine does not get into NATO, and does not host NATO offensive weapons. Russia pulls out of Ukraine entirely and immediately, including Crimea and Donbass. And THEN we end sanctions so that Russia's economy doesn't collapse.

Back it up with a UN resolution in support of a free Ukraine (happening Wednesday?).

Thats a great idea and I hope so, thats what I had in mind the entire time in fact. Maybe pulling out of Crimea and Donbass might be a sticking point, but is it even worth it at this point?

The one thing to factor is how much of an influence does the natural resources come in to play. Another thing about Ukraine I ran into later after my post yesterday is that Ukraine has possible the 14th largest natural gas reserves in the world that can be tapped and sent to Europe cutting off dependency off of Russia. There is alot of money in that country.

I could only hope to carry myself in such a way and send such a noble and patriotic message!!
