Donald Trump running for president

Part of that is owed to the adults from the other side giving him and the other selected Parkland kids the big push to fulfill their political agendas. Its inevitable that this was going to happen.

The Parkland kids were selected when a nut decided to shoot up their school. Honestly I don't think this is the healthiest way for them to be handled right now, but they and their parents are the only ones who should be deciding that. What's crossing the line is attacking these kids, who are victims of a horrendous attack, which Alex Jones has been a part of. Like usual, him and the others don't want to have actual intelligent conversations about guns, so he attacks the participants with his conspiracy crap. This time it was accusing these kids of not being there despite video footage that they were and of being paid actors.

All of that aside, how are you going to bash the Parkland kids for being pushed to fulfill the political agenda of adults when you're celebrating another kid for doing the exact same thing?

I heard him say on his very show they selectively picked anti-gun students to exploit them. I didnt hear the actor part.

He has had many deep intelligent discussions about guns, but of course if your (not you specifically) those who oppose his views you will portray him as the idiot and just show mini clips of his rants over the years to paint a specific image.

Thats probably because Im slightly biased.

I don't care that Hogg and his friends want to be involved, but I don't much care for this idea that they are only children when it benefits them.

The fact is, they want to be able to participate (and even lead) political discussion/activism and be treated like adults, but anytime they are criticized they immediately become defenseless children who need to be protected at all costs.

I don't think you get to be both.

If they want to participate in political discussion like adults, and let's be real here and admit that they really are (17/18 yo), then they need to accept that they will be treated like adults in the political theatre. They certainly have no qualms dishing out the character attacks to their political opponents, so it is not as if they philosophically oppose that behavior.

The way I look at it, if they threw themselves into the political fire they can see how brutal and ugly the world is at a very young age. They can grow from it very strongly should they be guided properly and be ferocious powerful adults in the future.

I can agree with that even though the attacks began as soon as they were interviewed right after the shooting. It's still idiotic to participate in ad hominem attacks rather have a debate about the actual subject.

Unfortunately, that has been a major part of politics for as long as politics has existed.

Lesson #1 Parkland Students, I know they dont teach this to you in school, but when you sacrifice your liberty for security you have neither.

Who will lead the March to Liberty? And who on CiaNN will give them air time?

------------------------------

They led a national march. Now Parkland students return to a school they say 'feels like jail'

'No one feels safe'

“Going to school is really so hard, and now it’s going to be so much worse,” said Isabelle Robinson, a senior. “A lot of the people I’ve talked to are dreading going back.”

[…] “It feels like being punished,” Robinson told CNN. “It feels like jail, being checked every time we go to school.”

My new backpack is almost as transparent as the NRA’s agenda. I feel sooo safe now. As much as I appreciate the effort we as a country need to focus on the real issue instead of turning our schools into prisons.

Love Trump. Approval ratings through the roof clearly show the Dems are dead. Wonder what it will take for them to hit rock bottom!?

The Democrats are still very alive and winning because a Republican holds office who supports the majority of Democrat's policies minus some cosmetic differences here and there.

I can understand why people like him though.

They're just now getting armed guards, cops, and metal detectors in their high school? We were doing that back in the early nineties at mine lol.

I had this same thought. We had an armed cop at our high school when I was there in the early 2000s. That was at a small school too. Unreal.

Yeah, it is not a new development for many high schoolers in the U.S. Those posts just go to show me how privileged these kids were. If they really think that is anything like a prison, then it just goes to show how disconnected they are from those in other SEC.

another HOGG heard from???? how many HOGG's they got at that school?

they seem very unhappy for privileged white kids, maybe they are just like their mother, never satisfied--- when doves cry.....

The ones they are all begging to help them take away the guns are the same people that have no problem dropping a nuke on school children just to get 1 suspected terrorist.

Congratulations. This was the most retarded thing I saw posted today. You sir get a gold star.

and you get another fifth of vodka, looks like you already finished the 1st one....come back when you sober up

Lol @ Republicrats stating they are shocked at what Dump is doing..

Doing what? Following up on about 4-5 out of 978 of his campaign promises which he regurgitated the entire time?

Yeah thats why they are shocked, thats a significant 100% increase from the previous couple of administrations.

PS...Never minded Conner McGreggor's antics, and I enjoyed his fights but now I view him and one low life piece of crap. I hope they revoke his US Visa rights for life and never fight again in the UFC or any other professionally sanctioned body of any kind. Conner, a big F' you for bruising the fight sports which I love as a whole.

good fight tomorrow night...lara vs hurd!!! hurd is the puncher is younger and bigger...but lara is a very talented boxer and hard to hit, kinda like Mayweather. it's pretty much a toss up, but I'm gonna go with hurd for the knockout, if it goes to the judges chances are lara wins it.

Ill pick Lara just cause I never seen the other guy fight, lol.

Povetkin filed his mandatory for Joshua. I think its possible for Joshua to file an exemption but I wouldnt mind seeing that fight anyways as long as you hook up Wilder with someone interesting as well. I expect Joshua to fight his simply due to the fact that he will probably make as much money anyways in the UK and I expect him to dominate Povetkin. Now lets hope they get GGG a replacement for that cheater that is also interesting. Povetkin is a cheater too though, he tested for Ostarine (If I remember right) before the Wilder fight which got cancelled.

isn't that the 2nd time a wilder fight got cancelled because of failed drug test? is it official, is canelo out?

Yup, he had Ortiz as well. He has a string a terrible bad luck.

GGG vs. Canelo fight officially canceled. Officially Canelo "stepped down" but thats a big ROFL!!!! I think he was going to make $10-20 million in 1 night. Now its unfortunate that this is going to hurt GGGs pocket and he did everything by the book (as far as we know, lol.)

Yup, he had Ortiz as well. He has a string a terrible bad luck. Wilder was stepping into his home turf too in Russia even though he is clearly the "A" side fighter. Shows how bad boxing has gone in the US.

damn...I got to admit to being amazed that they canned canelo!!!

I think it was both about saving face and finally making a statement that if they are willing to can boxing's top fiscal star that anyone can get canned. This may help deter more fighters, dunno for sure but they arent playing around anymore. They can try to fight in another state since this fight was license by Nevada...... lets say Texas in Cowboy stadium but no other commission by principle will disrespect another states boxing commission.

They can probably set up a easy fight in Macau China or some other country but there may be consequences in the future so it just simply may not be worth it.

I say give it 6 months and life will be back to normal. Canelo can continue eating his back alley meat.

The only way to truly clean up the sport (mostly anyways) is to have mandatory random testing 365 day a year testing. We all know being on these boards how easy it is to cycle and clean up off season without a trace. This is an impossible task with the promoters, as long as there isnt a commissioner involved with pro boxing such as MLB or NBA there is no way this will ever happen imo.

I'm thoroughly enjoying his supporters getting screwed on these retaliation sanctions. Europe invented that game and China plays it very well, so not sure if this is what Trump wanted or if he just doesn't think there will ever be consequences.

Also, screw Conor. Hope him versus a bus goes very differently the next time.

good post....I hope there is at least talk of appointing a commissioner with so many recent dirty tests!!!

There isn't a single commissioner, but states have commissions. Nevada for example has a five member commission with a chair. Can't they impose this at least if the fight is taking place in their state?

They could impose it in their state but thats not going to help much. How do you impose pro fighters in other states and in other countries. How can you tell pro fighter in the UK who never fought in Nevada for example that he has to give a blood sample? Then lets say that British fighter wants to fly into Nevada for a big fight 6 years into his pro career, sure he can only then start taking random testing but how do you enforce it after that since you cannot lock fighters to fight in a particular state? He has also had an entire career to artificially build a powerful structure at that point.

You would have to get all the commissions globally to be on the same page which Im not sure how that is possible outside of having a real pro league that starts at the beginning of peoples pro careers. Then again having a centralized power may destroy boxing just as Roger Goodell has destroyed football especially with the new rule this upcoming season or be filthy corrupt like the IOC. I always feel decentralized corruption in better than centralized corruption.

I dont doubt that Dump knew there would be consequences. The problem is generally people in the modern age want instant results and dont want to endure hardship for any particular time to get to a particular point. Having a gold fork in your mouth will help you endure it though.

I agree with Dump when he says "We already lost the trade war." I dont exactly agree with the solutions though but I hope it works out. I dunno if 2 years (lets guess he loses re-election) is enough time to really overturn the tide with his policies, my guess it isnt. On another note, its hilarious when I see these people that have persistently made this country broke turning it into ****s on TV acting as if they are the ones with the right solutions to save it.

Ahh, I see. Yeah, there were quite a few fighters that suddenly got smaller when they entered the UFC and even their testing is a joke.

True. We're still a relatively young country that hasn't had to truly go through hard times the ways other countries have.

I dont follow MMA closely just so you know, I enjoy some good fights time to time. I was a huge fan back in the 90s when UFC first started with Royce Gracie, no rules or time limits, weight classes, etc....

But I gotta tell ya, unless your desperate for a paycheck why would any female on earth fight Cyborg? She clearly has taken pre-UFC or is still taking alot of funky stuff. Its like fighting a man.

She's definitely not taking to the extreme that she used to. Whether or not she's clean now seems irrelevant. Women's MMA has come a long way from favoring looks over skill and there are some great fighters out there, but she's just too damn strong. Ronda was smart to keep making excuses and never fight her.

Ok, so all in one measly week Dump wanted to pull out of Syria, next its like oops nvmd just kidding and now he says Syria and that "animal Assad" has a "big price to pay" for the chemical attack with absolutely no proof of who did it and on top of that blames Putin and Iran.

Im just trying to figure out if Dump is really that naive or someone in the Military Industrial complex pulled the Art of the Deal with him.

My bitcoin go to the latter.

Waiting on him meeting up with his hookers and hitting the button of mass genocide while chewing over the most beautiful piece of chocolate cake.
