why not accept it as someone doing something nice for you? that is the spirit in which it is intended....
lol...life is too short to let yourself get annoyed and worked up over someone saying they will pray for you, I can think of many, many, better things to get annoyed and worked up over.
Easy to say for someone who believes what most people believe.
Try living in my shoes in the South as an atheist. I have to just smile and nod when people preach to me about Jesus or mention that God will do things for them. Christians, in my experience, tend to automatically assume that others are Christians as well. I personally find that offensive and incredibly close-minded. I feel as if I have to watch what I say or face repercussions. I imagine that is how a lot of people of different faiths feel around outspoken Christians.
