I prefer Hoka One One to Brooks but both are solid and a big step up. An actual running shoe makes a huge difference compared to what you’d get at something like a chain store.
Yes, the Hokas are sweet as well. We finally agree on something! I would put the Hoyas, Brooks, Altras on pretty even fields. All on another level.

Running shoes should be custom fit and impressions should be taken to maximize usage.
You probably know more about running than me, cuz everyone does and I only run when I steal something. I am just talking straight comfort experience here.

Hoka's Bondi 6 have been lifechanging. I use for walking and just daily living but Unfortunately the durability is terrible on the 2 I have used. They last at most 4-6 months for me. They tear from the sole. So I am on the hunt for another brand but until I do, I will continue to buy Hoka.

I have the Clifton’s 5 or 6 I think. Have had for a while now and they’ve held up. I don’t wear everyday. Mainly for running or when I’m going to be doing a lot of walking. I want to try the Carbon X next but I have enough shoes I suppose.

Great stuff and I agree. But you know me, always difficult. Of course your can multiply wealth by dividing it. For instance:

$1,000,000 / 0.1 = $10,000,000.

Go check out the Altra's. They have been amazing. I went to a real sports store and tried on the Brooks and was impressed, like this is the best shoe I've ever had on my foot, then tried the Hoka Cliftons and was like, "Wow that is even better." Then I tried the Altra Paradigms and it was a clear winner. I even made my gf try on a pair and she didn't want to spend the money...and after a couple months of her talking about them, I finally just bought them for her. She probably knew what she was doing...

No I haven’t tried them. I used to run in Asics which were great and I maxed many Pt tests with them on my feet. But the NB are more comfortable. I have shifted away from running and walking and moved to cycling for my cardio now. My joints just aren’t what they used to be.
Yeah I’ve got the same issue as far as joints. I used to run is ASICS also, but switched to Brooks and they’re way better.

Same. I only ever watched basketball during playoffs but with Covid I haven’t even really watched any sports - including college football. It has nothing to do with China/politics. I’ve just found other ways to fill my time due to Covid ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

So you are saying the election is between a racist who can't be racist because he is a Democrat and a racist who is let loose?
No. I ask you to provide evidence of Trump being a racist. Please. I have asked at least 20 people this question in the last couple weeks and the closest anyone has gotten is him calling Haiti a sh*thole...which is really a stretch.

The choice is between someone the media and politicians don't like and a racist, rapist in Biden.

What we know for sure is that Biden has been in office for 47 years, VP for 8. In there's he actively opposed desegregation and was close friends with a highly successful recruiter for the KKK. In the 90's, since he likes talking about dog whistles, he used the term super criminals to refer to black teenage boys with hate in their heart and a gun in their hand, and passed legislation that led to the mass incarceration of blacks.

More recently he has claimed you ain't black if you don't vote for him, said the Latino community has more diversity of thought than the black community, said poor kids are as intelligent as white kids, and now views all shelf stockers as black women apparently. I am positive I am leaving some out.

While VP under a black president he had an excellent opportunity to correct the issues being brought up today, but didn't.

While not fixing any of the problems he helped create ...while VP his son had strong ties to Russia and China and collected millions of dollars from corrupt people with political ties, and Biden is on tape bragging about how he participated in strong arming the leaders of one such country.

And of course he has a woman claiming he forcefully digitally penetrated her, with TV show footage of her mom calling into Larry King about it, and a husband who cooperates that he did know about it back then - far more evidence than required to persecute Kavanaugh who had an accuser who couldn't remember where it happened, never mentioned it to anyone before, had no friends that would cooperate her claims, etc. But somehow that is swept under the rug.

Come on, man.

For everything on Biden, there is a thing for Trump, but you will go to great lengths to make excuses for and explain away Trump’s problems.

A great saying that has taught me well in trial work: if you’re ‘splaining, you’re losing.

Seriously? The claim was made that Biden is a racist, a response (because at this point it is irrefutable that he is racist) was made that states basically the choice is between two racists - which IS refutable. Trump is NOT a racist. I have seen no evidence of it, and I have asked many people. And I asked here again.

So, I laid out the facts on Biden's racism- and asked for any factual indication that Trump is a racist as purported.

You come back and 'splain to me that "for everything on Biden, there is a thing for Trump" - well, then give me the facts.

While you're at it, why don't you try to 'splain to me how I list all that stuff on Biden and you just go right over it like a small bump in the road and try to turn it back around on, "well, well, Trump is too!" while providing no details?

Come on man.

To be quite honest, if you think Trump hasn’t done or said racist things, you’re either oblivious or you’re willing to overlook and explain everything away. Nonetheless, here’s a few that everyone will try to explain away.

Trump was sued by DOJ for refusing to rent to black tenants.

Trump advocated for death penalty on Central Park five - despite being a remarkably weak case, and even as late as 2016 said he thought they were guilty despite DNA evidence exonerating them.

Trump was quoted as saying he hates black people counting his money and only wants Jews to count his money. In a later interview, he said the quote was “probably true”

In congressional testimony, he said some Natives shouldn’t be allowed to run casinos bc they don’t look like Indians.

He paid a fine for removing black and women dealers from tables for certain clients.

He said a judge should recuse himself because his Mexican heritage.

Also, Trump has been named in 9264936293663936 lawsuits for sexual assault/harassment.

How about a negotiation. The right will cede on fighting abortions. The dems can murder all the babies they want to. Hell, yank them out and drink their blood, or whatever it is they dream about. In return the right gets fully unrestricted gun rights. No more ATF, no more gun laws. No NFA. No Hughes amendment. No rosters, waiting periods, NICS checks.

Fair response. Congratulations. You are in the top 5% of the democratic population. You just came up with the first reasons anyone has been able to give me to claim Trump is a racist. On its face, some of it is a red flag and I need to research more to get the real info. I know the DOJ situation never involved him dealing with anyone - someone showing the properties lied to a black man and claimed the unit was rented and then showed the spot to a white woman after. When he was questioned he claimed, "I was just doing what my boss told me." I mean, I'd trust him. Sure he lied to a black man about the availability of the apartment, but no one ever lies twice. Gotta believe him when he says Trump told him to do it, why would he lie about that?

And the news reports show that the first offer to settle was accepted by Trump with no admission of guilt - which tells me they knew they had no case to come out with a strong offer that let him off with no admissions of guilt right off the bat.

2-5 I have to reasearch more. Good stuff.

#6 is obviously a farce. There are 25 accusations in his history, a few of which have even admitted to lying about it. That's a pretty far stretch from 92 Quintilian (almost a brazillion) lawesuits :)

Plus lawsuits about sexual issues without criminal charges don't really hold much weight with me. Especially when the target has loads of money. Oh, wait, Trump is a failed businessman, I forgot - joke's on them!

Throw in legalized marijuana in all 50 states with tax dollars going to schools and infrastructure and we can sit at the table.

Yes. So long as legalized marijuana doesn’t mean 30% tax with a 10mg limit like some places that have it. Keep the medical limits and tax rate.

I don’t think legal weed is a dem vs rep thing. I think Congress keeps trying to throw pork into all the legalization attempts and it gets scuttled.

Oh god, it was so hard to watch any of the town hall yesterday. I tried to give it a shot, but for as much as I think Trump is a horrible person the world would be better without, I don't want and have no excitement for lame duck Biden. Damned if we do and damned if we don't.
Damn with the both of them. Vote Jo Jorgensen 2020!

I have to think the founding fathers are rolling in their grave that most American people are blinded into thinking they must cast their vote for the “lesser of two evils” rather than the 3rd option, who is the most qualified to protect, preserve and most importantly restore the US Constitution, Jo Jorgensen

The bill was subsequently passed and signed on May 19, 1986 by President Ronald Reagan to become Public Law 99-308

And people (not you anymore, lol) roll their eyes when I tell them I don't support the Republicrat party because they are a anti-2A party.

Fair enough, I don't like the tax part anyway, just want it going to something that needs it.
Decriminalize all drugs, have privately and semi-regulated shops open and put the sales tax into drug consulting and medical clinics in the same building or next to them. It would pay all for itself and save the tax payer trillions of dollars (like R's and D's would really cut our taxes, ROFL but thats another story.) Police would have much pressure off of them from wasting time on victimless crimes, drugs would be safer rather than on the street dirty crap and the health care system would have an ease in emergencies.

There are really good common sense solutions to our problems. Or you can spend trillions more propping up the War on Drugs and be in the same position or worse 10 years from now.

I cringe every time some says Reagan was the best president ever. Thanks to him we got a machine gun and imported rifle ban and the war on drugs. No thanks.

The War on Drugs was actually launched by Nixon, that how long of a disaster it has been. It never has and will never work.
