I don't think I've mentioned this. But, the weight I've been posting is my night weight... My morning weight is (as of this morning) Body weight- 142 on the button Upper body work Bench- 220x11 Wide lat pull down- 155x17 OHP 115x19 Deadlift 320x6 followed with one set of 240x12 CGBP 180x17 *stretches *16min tabata Had a helluva workout! I'll post my dead video. I forgot to record my bench :(

Find out if you can ramp the bar at the meet. If your fed doesn't allow it (mine doesn't), stop training with it and get used to dead weight. If they do, perfect it.

Flex your triceps/lock your arms as you take your grip/take the slack out of the bar.

365 is all yours, if not more my dude.

Nah you can't. I did it on the lest rep cuz after five reps of 320 it got heavy lol

I can pull 405lb right now. Goal is 450-465 for the meet on deads.

For the meal I went to Red lobster. I had;
(4) cheddar biscuits
Salad
Crab and seafood stuffed flounder
Mashed potatoes

Dessert
Pint of PB cup ice cream

Oh man. Cheddar bay biscuits are like little balls of cheesy heaven. Just magical.
 
Dude that's literally my fav meal from Red Lobster. Sometimes I'll get a seasonal special, but that's my go-to fav!
 
nice log man i've been looking into dc training myself. I've been reading about it but a little confused so i was ordering if you could help me out. I understand the rest pause scheme of 11-15 rp (pick weight you can do 10 times, do it, 15 short breaths, do it again, 15 breaths, and again for three sets total and if over 15 reps add weight next time, under 15 than add reps next time). I'm just confused on exercises for biceps or triceps where dante recommends higher rest pause ranges of 15-20 rp or 20-30 rp. Like how do those work? Like is it still the same weight you can do for 10 but since its a smaller muscle group more reps can be achieved on the rest paused group compared to the compound exercises such as incline bench where you'd do something like 10, 4,2. Sorry to interrupt your log just hard finding someone running a dc training log currently so figured I'd ask you lol

Skipped my cardio tonight :/ wish I wouldn't have. But, I'll do it tomorrow.

If you all haven't noticed I switched over to RTS now. Will stay with it until comp day.

Hopefully I'll weight a solid 152-154 before the comp and get down to 148 the day of.

Getting close now, Tyga - I'm 2.5wks out. I really think I'm gonna PR all over and break 1300 this time. There is a very small part of me that thinks a 500lb squat w/out wraps is even on the table...

Mines either In January or February. They haven't posted it yet, but it's in either of Those months every year. If you get that total, I'm buying you a bacon maple donut lolol

So is RTS a general ongoing program, and you can simply dial in a peaking period once you have the meet date? The Cube Kingpin is 10 wks (3x3, then a deload into the meet).

Also, are you coming to the actual meet on saturday?

It's a 10-12 week block. But, we will Taylor it to fit for the meet.

Is the foam press like a soft pad you're sinking into your chest, or does it stop the bar?
yeah. It's like a single board press, but gives in with weight on the bar. Very similar to a towel press.

So far liking the RTS split. I know it gets a ton of praise for the ability to truly auto-regulate w/ the Rate of Perceived Exertion scale. Tuscherer has them treetrunk thighs for real

i'm on day 5.. noticing the appetite increase and muscle fullness. i eat a big ass meal, and then 30 minutes later i crave more food lol
