DMA's Never Satisfied Training Log

You also have to keep in mind the things that have changed.

You were eating more calories and expending less. You had more mass which creates better leverages. Plus you are depleted right now. With your metabolism you could have easily burned right through your refeed. Also sometimes for me the morning after a refeed sucks because my blood sugar is lower from the extra insulin spike before bed.

However yes Bench is one of those CNS heavy movements that can be de-trained very easily if not focusing on weight.

By the way screw not wanting to put pictures up very often because you don't want to seem douchy. If you are seeing changes and like them feel free to share them. No one is going to think you are a douche for doing so. It is just more motivating to us to see changes on the regular.

Haha, I guess the is the right place to get your douche on!!

Today is actually that refeed day. So as of this morning was probably still depleted.

Also it's one of those things with the bench, like screw it, my chest is looking good, not like I'm entering a meet or anything. Just an ego thing.

Yeah you posted a really good pic of you a little while back that showed you looking beefy and how wide your chest really is. It was surprising, it doesn't always carry over in the bathroom selfies. You guys have got to step up your selfie game. LMAO! I know your smart phone has a time delay setting on the camera. Just lean it against a wall stand in front of where it is pointing and get your flex on. LOL

Started doing this and it does make it easy, also can get a some different angles.

This, I also have used the time delay on my webcam software to take snap shots off of my laptop, easy because there is no need to prop it up and the picture faces you so you can see how you are looking when the pic is taken.

Also if any of you have a Samsung you can turn on voice commands then just line up the shot and then say "Shoot!" and it will take the picture.

Pro tip from a certified bro douche lifter dude: set your phone on video, prop it up, and flex your ass off. :booty:

Then you just capture the best stills huh?

I hear you on the benching man. Very confusing to me too . Sometimes I'm so connected other times that shiat is just plain heavy. Nice progress though! Killing it with those delt veins.

Meathead-douche-level in here: OVER 9000

Double subbing for it all haha. Love it.

The BFR Arm training is bringing out some new veins in the biceps. I thought I just didn't have the smaller ones that run horizontally, but today I saw more than one popping on each arm. Love it.

Not a great workout, but did the damn thing.

I love BFR on forearms, just below elbows, makes em sore for days, just wish my one strap didn't break lol now i can only train one at a time.

Damn dude, sic traps and upper chest is coming in great. I need to push mine to that next level.

Looking damn good Daniel!

Jealous of your progress bro. Keep it up!

Great progress the last couple months Dan. You're traps look a lot like mine, I would be doing a lot of side lateral movement to widen the shoulders as your big traps will tend to take away from shoulder width. I have spent a lot of time on this. Overhead movement can to good too, you just have to drive your elbows back and keep the side delts on top.

Have really been working on bringing the side delts out, not only to separate from the traps but to separate from the triceps. Finally starting to get a little pop.

Slept like doo doo. A bit of a middle of the night BP spike. But the bi-product of this always seems to be a killer workout the next morning, and well that happened. Kept it simple with just Squats and Deads. Numbers felt good and easy.

Threw in Masteron to the mix last night. Hit 150 Mast Prop and 100 Mast E to kick it off. Will drop the P down to 100 eod and the E to 100 e4d, whatever that works out to per week. Test still at 350/week. Epistane 48/day.

315 x 7
225 x 7

Ab Wheel / Speed Bag x 5 sets

20 minutes low intensity Bike

Wanted to check my form, had to get 2 vids since first one didn't show it. 2nd one doesn't really either. But perhaps just a bit of rounding that I need to work on eliminating.

The rounding is there but not terrible. Stick your butt out a little more and make a conscious effort to drive through the hips into the heels.

I have scoliosis so once I get past 225 for squats or dead lifts I have to wear a belt to alleviate the spinal pressure on my curve.

Here is my form for deads, I also go barefoot. I know you're supposed to keep chin tucked and in line with spine but I always **** that part up lol

Good form for sure bud. I should go back to wearing Chucks on squat and dead days. Actually hate barefoot. Chucks are nice and flat though. Think I will give the belt a try. Bought the damn thing, might as well use it.

Ooooh, 8000 posts!! What a whore

If you have narrow feet Chucks are for sure the way to go, I have Fred Flintstone feet so I can't stuff them in there at all lol. Also I use a nylon belt, I used to use stiff leather but they nylon is a little more flexible so you can engage your core better than just cheat your way through the lift.

Yah I hear that. I did a superset that I like with db side laterals and cable side lateral that pumps the fug out of them. I look a foot wider, wish I could keep it. Just keep pluggin away,

Definitely a little rounding and some forward lean. You can see your heels pop up for a split sec on most of the later reps especially. I have the same issue and actually just bought a $5 pair of womens flat slip on type shoes ha. They're perfect for squats and deads tho and zero actual investment. They look ridic but I'll beat the piss out of the first dbag that says something and that'll end that ha. I give zero f's about looks in the gym...

Can you show a picture of the shoes and where you bought them. Always looking for a way to improve

Might have to get you guys to critique my development... Always looking for a keen eye.

Chris has a really good eye as well, between the 3 of us and others that have good knowledge around here we should be a lot of help. When I start getting down I rely a lot on others opinions around here. We are too critical of ourselves to rely on our own judgment, most of us anyway.

Sexy indeed. I need these in the gym to complete my look.

Pissed off and evil, with zero Fuks to give.

Even has a slight heel for Oly lifts! ;)

For true, hahaha if only i didn't have duck feet i could wear chucks. They're perfect for lifting it.

Yes and no, Yes it keeps you from losing power but there are other issues to be concerned about. Most PL guys end up with foot and ankle issues from that. The arch gradually starts to flatten out with out support under all of that weight and the ankles roll in due to that. Once that happens hip, knee, and lower back issues can take place. A lot of that risk can be avoided by training in a stiff lifting show with some arch support, then only going barefoot or in chucks on your max effort sets.

Not saying this happens to everyone but it is a pretty common occurrence most people don't even realize is happening until it happened. Even more have no idea why the ended up with the problems. Also not good for plantar fasciaitis.

aside from the squeezing on the sides of my foot i always liked lifting in em but I would barefoot for maxes like you said.

I have thought about OLY/PL shoes but I would want to try em on first to make sure I got the right width first.
