Made a change to my peri-workout supplementation today. I have seen you Kleen talk about drinking the Hydro Whey during workout as opposed to BCAA's. Also reading an article here on our lovely AM about it as well yesterday had me thinking about it.

So here is my set-up:

Workout pretty much fasted in the early am, but would have had a snack before bed. Approximately 8 hours pre-gym. Have my usual stim-concoction with Vital1ty (creatine/betaine) PWO.
Drink Hydrolized Whey Intra
Drink BCAA's (8g) immediately Post WO
Have approx 40g Carbs (rolled oats) 30-45 minutes Post WO
High Protein and Fat, moderate Carb breakfast 3 hours Post WO

Does this seem like the best set-up for MPS? Insulin, etc.?
 
I like the set up. The intra shake won't cause any spikes but more so keep your body anabolic. Maybe switch out the oats for grits, cream of wheat or white rice. Other than that looks good

Yes, it looks good, often I will mix up 20-30 grams of the hydro and shoot about 10 grams worth about 10-15 minutes after my pre workout. That way it does not slow the pre workout hitting but gets into the system by the end of my warm up. That way I already have some fuel if I am doing it in the morning. Unless trying to cut I think this is better for the performance based lifts to have a fast acting carb like some HBCD or a tablespoon or two of Brown Rice Syrup does the trick! Then have more HBCD during the workout with the rest of the hyrdo-whey. If not doing any pre or intra workout carbs then definitely go with the Cream of Rice, it will give you that larger insulin spike and is all starch. If having some intra-carbs then the rolled oats are a solid choice. Again this comes down to goals and specific use. Brown Rice Syrups is pretty awesome because it has a mix of sugars and starch so no big crash in the workout, plus you can use a little to sweeten your intra drink and mask the taste of those hydro's since you didn't get the one that was de-bitterized. Also not a bad option for sweetening the Cream of Rice cereal either.

Since doing PHAT, on the power days I would opt for some fast acting carbs, pre and intra, then the rolled oats after since you will already have had the insulin kicked up from the simple carbs no rush to get the carbs in quickly or stop the catabolism as it is already pretty much stopped in it's tracks from the intra- supplementation.

On hypertrophy days I would opt for the no carbs pre, or intra, and go with the Cream of Rice or grits as jmyers said. That will get into your system more quickly and give you the insulin spike you are seeking.

It's inferior. Best option would be HBCD

Well that stomach bug from yesterday is coming out in the worst way this morning. Sorry for the graphics, but I feel that it definitely hindered my endurance a bit as I felt depleted.

I have also forgotten to mention I am starting a new program. Giving PHAT a go. Thanks to my boy yates84 for the link to the program.

He's making me pretty damn proud. It's nice having this to talk with him about, training, etc. Took it up on his own after he moved out. Never really showed any interest while he was at home. But I guess it planted the seed.

Totally agree. Actually learned about Pendlay Rows last year while following someone else's PHAT log. Probably the single best move I've added (except maybe Deads) for really widening my upper back and increasing my strength on all pulling movements.

This is where he is coming from. Has been a video game nut his whole childhood. Was never an outside kid unless I took him. Didn't play sports as he spent the majority of his life with his mom. Moved to live with me at 16 and he started opening up a bit. Developing a social circle outside the online gaming world. Not to discredit his mom, but I offered him a little more freedom as a young man. Like I had. Can't say I'm completely responsible for his coming out of it, maybe he just grew up, but I'll take some credit LOL

The lethargy hit me pretty hard when I upped the mk to 20mg. Went away after about a week tho and now it's just gainzzz

When I was doing 20mg it was combined in a capsule at 10mg each with 75 mg epiandrosterone. I would take 1 cap preworkout and the second cap 5-6 hours later. Looking back I should've taken it all preworkout. I didn't know epiandrosterone (and the other andros for that matter) are more effective when you spike the concentration in your blood by dosing all at once.

i did 30 mg pwo. Stacked with a product called Adamatine i work wonders ! I mean i could lift more...

The hunger hit me today too just like the first few weeks at 10. And the water retention. Changed out of my work clothes just now and was like, uuuggh. All these things went away after a few weeks before.

Yep, I felt like I was starting all over again when bumped from 10 to 20.
Ha ha... Dude those hgh patches we got in the mail are 40mg per patch. Very noticeable by day 3!

Oh no... Lol IGF levels through the roof! I don't start those for another month
 
Well today is what I call Separation Day. It's that first workout on cycle that separates you from normal. It's only Day 5 so I know it's just beginning, but this 50mg of Tr3st PWO is the shiit. Here is my current PWO cocktail:

I heard that it opens up the pores and actually enhances absorption so...

Although, I will have one dirty shoulder soon, as I make it a point to not let the post-workout shower hit the application area. Nor do I wipe that shoulder with my towel while working out.
 
So far feelings of greatness, strength and pump. With a hint of nipple sensitivity. I'm sure all of these will be increasing LOL

What is to expect from Trest ??
