Did the Rock just put on a ton of weight?

When he did that movie where he adopted a little girl he was really skinny. There were even a few shots where he'd be next to waif thin models and not look that big. IN the preview for his ne movie he looks pretty darn swole though. Is it movie magic r has this guy been beefing up a lot?

Oh, he was larger than the average bear for darn sure, but he was way lighter than in Walking Tall, which was already 25lbs lighter than in The Rundown, which was 15lbs lighter than The Scorpian King. At least I think I remember reading about him losing weight in all those movies.

Yep, he did. So did Vin Diesel. That's what you get when you put two alpha males in the same movie(Furious 5). They try to get bigger then the other guy so that in their on screen fight they dominate.

i read somewhere he had to drop like 40lbs or something like that to play his character which was a QB, so for authenticity a QB isn't going to be as big as him ya know? but he does look big, possibly put the weight back on and then some.

Im a little suspicious of his claim that when he got to Hollywood, he basically had to lose more weight every time he had a movie. I mean, -25+-15+-40 equals a 80lb loss! Im suspiscious that maby he was having roid withdrawels and now hes fully loaded again.

I just watched his newest flick Faster and thought it was pretty good. The dude can do some good action movies if he wants to. Anyone else see this yet?

It was a very entertaining movie with lots of good action. I am a Rock fan and have enjoyed his action movies.
 
Lol yall know Vin is gay right? It looks like hes gona kiss the rock. plus the rock has like a double neck there in the back... he def looks like hes pushin somthing, honestly. I dont think he has time to workout that much

Action stars should be on cycle. LOL! --If VD is gay, then he's a great actor(playin a straight alpha male) Chicks dig it.
 
On one of his movies, I think the run down it flashes his stats after the first fight scene at the beginning and it says hes is 6'4" 220 lol I call b.s. on that, he's pretty damn jacked in that show and I have a decent sized friend who is 6'3" 220 and nowhere near that big

Yeah, that would be the rundown. You have to take any of these media stats with a grain of salt though. They all tend to elaborate in the "+,-" column.
 
O yeah when it showed his targets stats and such....I remember one of the old Rocky movies and the announcer said Rocky was like 6' something, LOL.

I liked his look/build in DOOM...."Semper Fi, Motherf**ker!!" LOL
