DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) a test booster?

Hi

Was hoping to get some insight into DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone), i managed to find a few products with DHEA, got one with 50mg dosage per cap.

Is it a steroid or a prohormone?

How should i cycle it?

Thank you

Its a endogenous steroid hormone.
Are u 1987 modell? Reading your name..

Why do you want to use it?

Hi Danes,

Would it help to put on some mass or muscle is it safe?

is 7-Keto (3-Acetyl-7-Oxo-Dehydroepiandrosterone) better than DHEA?

I did not understand your second question regarding the modell.

Thanks

Apologise my bad english :)

I mean you are born in 1987?
You dont need DHEA or DHEA derivates.
if you want to build muscles naturally , good diet, good workout plan and the rest is your best friend. There are some natural products that could help

Nps, Yup born in 1987.

So you reckon DHEA wouldn't be as effective !?

Drop DHEA seriously.
It converts into test or estrogen...
if the goal is to build muscles then there is other things u can run instead of DHEA
Its good for older people

For once I agree with Danes and you probably do not need DHEA. You really will only notice any effect if you are low and if you are not, excess will increase estrogen. You don't say why you are looking into it, but it most likely is not what you want.

OP asked :

Drop DHEA :)

Before you think about taking exogenous hormones get bloodwork done to see where your at. Your 27 years old I highly doubt your DHEA levels are low.

I would check out ancient minerals magnesium oil, there has been studies shown that taking magnesium oil will elevate your natural DHEA levels plus the myriad of benefits taking magnesium transdermally.

7-keto is a derivative of DHEA that has some benefits as far as improved immune system and cortisol modulation. Rugular DHEA would be of little to no benefit to you at your age unless you have a known deficiency(blood work would be needed to ascertain this.) There a so many other supplements I would put infront of DHEA for you, like almost all of them lol.

First step: get a full hormone panel blood test done.
Second step: if you are low, you can check out forskolin, DAA, or even divanil. Those 3 have positive data on body composition changes, especially forskolin.

You also may want to look at your life on the whole. Examples: how is your sleep? How are your stress levels? Are you taking in proper nutrients, especially dietary fat? All of these can lead to sub-optimal hormone levels.

Good post :)

But if you guys read OPs question :
Would it help to put on some mass or muscle is it safe?

That means he want something to build muscles faster and DHEA is not the right opinion :)

DHEA and DHEA derivates have health benefits but no reason to take it if the levels are normal (bloodwork needed)

DHEA is not going to give you any benefit until you are older. At 27 it is worthless for you. I don't mean because it is too hardcore either...i mean because it will not do anything for you

Agree 100%. I'm 24 and honestly, I would only use it (dermacrine) on cycle but even that I'm not so sure at my age. Just wait till you are older and can reap the benefits from it
