Delta Force Is Moving To A New State, Anadraulic State (LG Sponsored)

similar to icy hot, search it in google. I think you can find it at major grocery stores. Topical that helps quite a bit, similar to icy hot, but superior IMO

I think you can get it at Walgreens.....maybeeee

walgreens or longs should carry it, thats where I'm going tomorrow to find it, this Biofreeze Pain Relieving Gel looks promising... at first i thought this was related to my arm always resting on my desk specially when i browse the web that part of my arm rests right on the edge of the desk but now the more i think about it, its not as simple as that!

it does work well but I think it might be a somewhat temporary reliever as well. Give it a try and let me know how it works for ya. Also you could try cissus.

you know, I do get a bit of an aggrevated elbow when leaving my arm in a certain position on the keyboard or desk for too long, it could very well have something to do with it

I have some bulk cissus sitting around here that I need to cap, but i was saving that till i do my next cycle in the near future... is tendinitis reversible? I sure hope so its pretty annoying

I have moved my mouse pad over the edge of my desk so that my arm is not just sitting on the edge of the desk, it seems to help some but theres a pain deep inside the arm!

your tendonitis will go away. Its just inflamed. Be careful on your lifts, try not to fully lock out your elbows, this might be what is causing it. Just ice it and bio freeze it and you might have to take it easy with it. Just listen to your body :)

If you have the beginnings of tendonitis, You should stop your multiple arm routine immediately. Chances are you aggravated it by doing arms 3x per week, and if it gets really bad, it will sideline you for months, then usually you will become prone to it. Trust me, I know.

Thats good to hear I started to think I was falling apart :)

Pronto... I will be changing my routine so that I dont aggravate this to where it sidelines me for long, I guess I'l just have to nurse it till it goes away and then revisit this routine in the future.

Alright man, Im back buddy! time to catch up:) hopeyour 4th was a good one:thumbsup:

Hey, good to see you back bro, hope you had a great time during the holiday weekend... it seems like the board got a little quiet while you were gone :)

Just to bring you up to date quickly, I'm nurturing a case of tendonitis on my right arm, it's the first time I have such injury and I think I have aggravated recently with my new routine of doing arms 3 days a week. I took today off and plan to rest tomorrow as well and get back in the gym on Wednesday back to a 4 day split to give each body part enough rest, been sipping on AS and really been enjoying the ride, recovery, pumps and focus are all very noticeable when taking AS, this product is sure to be a winner!

hows the tendonitis?

hows the tendonitis?

Thanks for asking, its a little better, I was telling my friend about it and today she brought me some creams to apply since she has lots, I applied some earlier and my arm feels pretty good afterwards, I took today off to let it rest some more... I'll be hitting the gym tomorrow with my old routine, too bad I was not able to complete the 3 week routine I was shooting for, I just started to see results too, ohhh well... once i'm back to normal i'll try gain!

Day 13/14
Monday, July 6, 2009
Tuesday, July 7, 2009

Stats Up on waking:
W: 190

Narrative:
For the past 2 days I've been sidelined to let my right arm recover from what appears to be tendonitis, I guess working out my arms 3 times a week came with some bad side effects, I'll be going back to my 4 day split while keeping my 2 days on 1 day off!

Tomorrow I will start off with chest and tris.

Vascularity: not feeling it today

Strength: what strength?

Endurance/Focus: I have lots of endurance to typing but that it

Mood/Aggression: very relaxed or should i say lazy

Take it nice and easy today Delta listen to your body. :) hope your workouts a good one

thanks bro, I dont have much other choices right now... i was in the gym this morning and I'm keeping all my lifts in the low side this I get back to normal, I was hopping to start a new ph cycle early this month but thats definitely off for now!

At least you can still lift, thats something to be thankful for!! Try it again in a few months!

Yep, you right, I'm thankful that I'm not completely sidelined and I'm able to train otherwise I could get used to not training then its always hard to get back in the routine of getting up early, in a few months i'll make another attempt at this routine i really liked it!

how did it feel today??

maybe your sleeping on it weird?

Ed, It sucks when you get hurt, no one wants to take time off when there making progress, Just work around it if you can, do low weights with your your arms, in time it'll heal. What you dont wanna do is over do it, then time will not heal it, and it''ll take allot more to correct the problem. Stay head strong my man, do what your body will let you do:)

If I ever got tendonitis Id do squats three times a week lol

hahaha, man that could be pain full...id throw an ass load of ab work outs in there!

I did squats on a 5X5 three times a week, not fun, roached my knees

maybe your sleeping on it weird?

no fat chance of that happening, I'll sometimes sleep on my back other times I like to keep my right arm stretched and sleep on my shoulder.

Yup, I'll keep training though, I dont want to lose the habit of getting up early b/c that forces me to sleep early too, otherwise I'll stay up late and not make it to the gym, I'll just be running in maintenance mode till this heals up, thanks bro for chiming in!

that sounded like a good option till i started thinking about getting tendonitis on my legs or getting bad knees, just the thought makes think twice about it :D

now, there's a good routine in there somewhere... do abs 3x per week and increase cardio since I've neglected for so long :sad3:

For sure keep training, im just saying cut your arms out for a couple weeks.., theres so much you can do and still make gains! you the man Ed!

No doubt. I have a pretty bad shoulder injury right now, Im still training, just strategically working around it. I cant do most any benching movements tho:sad2:

for sure I'll keep training.... been pretty busy lately to make my updates for yesterday and today but i'll be doing just that once i get home

Hows the arm Ed?

Hey guys sorry for turning into MIA in the last couple of days, my arm has not healed much plus I have been plagued with computer problems at home that required me to change the main hard disk drive, this procedure is painstaking and time consuming. I got my pc back to normal now I wish my arm follows not too far behind.

I was in the gym on Wednesday and did chest and tri's but on Thursday and today I did not make it, these pc problems I've had recently have kept me up late, with little rest and a bad arm it made the decision to skip the gym too easy.

I have to say though today for the first time i dont recall my arm bothering me, the cream I've been applying is actually helping! I planning to hit the gym tomorrow if my schedule goes as planned!

cheers,

Atta boy, keep at it! Glad the bio freeze is helping.

Thanks guys, I took today off again, the arm bothers me and I'm afraid if I keep training and pushing this aggravation will last even longer, I'm hopping to get back into the swing of things next week and resume my log, I'm not happy how this has turned out in the last couple of weeks I either was sick or hurt! I'm looking forward to better days!

I was just reading through some tendonitis threads and tomorrow I'l be picking up some wrist straps this should allow to remove tension from my forearms, plus I read that vitamin b6 should also help, plus get some Glucosamine!
I hope a combination of any of these will makes things improve faster, I think i got the rest part covered thus far!

Better to avoid injury, cant wait to see ya get back at it!

No worries bro, just take care of yourself!!

Here's a list of things that I take daily for my inflammation/pain:
- Curcuma longa (cucurmin)
- Ginger (Zingiber officinalis)
- Boswellia (Boswellia serrata)
- Hylaronic Acid

Here's some information on some of the better ones: Source - The Nutrition Reporter
These are the supplements to emphasize:

· Omega-3 essential fatty acids. Found in fish oils, EPA and DHA are essential building blocks for the body's antiinflammatory prostaglandins (e.g., prostaglandin E1) and for turning off Cox-2 and the body's proinflammatory cytokines (IL-1, IL-6, and TNFa). In addition, omega-3 fatty acids block the activity of an enzyme that breaks down joint cartilage. Daily dosage: 3 or more grams.

· Gamma-linolenic acid. Although GLA is an omega-6 fatty acid, it has antiinflammatory properties. Relatively little GLA is converted to arachidonic acid and prostaglandin E2. Instead, GLA increases production of the antiinflammatory prostaglandin E1. Robert B. Zurier, M.D., of the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester, gave GLA supplements or placebos to 41 patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Two-thirds of those receiving GLA had a 25 percent reduction in their arthritic symptoms. Daily dosage: 2-3 grams.

· Vitamin E. Although Cox-2 and prostaglandin E2 levels rise with age, animal studies have shown that vitamin E supplements reverse the increase in Cox-2 and prostaglandin E2. Vitamin E also turns off nuclear factor-kB (NF-kB) and activator protein-1 (AP-1), compounds that turn on inflammatory genes. One recent study found that arthritics taking supplements of natural vitamin E (600 mg twice daily) for 12 weeks had their pain reduced by about half. Daily dosage: 400-800 IU.

· Vitamin C. Long recognized for its antiinflammatory properties, the effects of vitamin C are enhanced by other nutrients. In a study of people exposed to simulated sunlight, researchers found that vitamin C and E worked synergistically to reduce skin inflammation. In a cell study, Italian researchers noted that quercetin and vitamin C worked together to protect cells from inflammation-induced damage. Daily dosage: 1,000-2,000 mg.

· Polyphenols and Flavonoids. Researchers at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, recently reported that the antioxidant polyphenols in green tea had antiinflammatory properties by inhibiting Cox-2 and TNFa. Genistein inhibits prostaglandin E2 and Cox-2, and quercetin inhibits the activity of inflammation-promoting "adhesion" molecules. It's likely that Pycnogenol, grape seed extract, and other flavonoids work through similar mechanisms. Daily dosage: 25-500 mg.

· St. John's wort. Better known for its antidepressant effect, this herb also has antiinflammatory properties. In a laboratory experiment, researchers from the University of Frieburg, Germany found that hypericin, one of the constituents of St. John's wort, inhibited NF-kB, which activates proinflammatory genes. Daily dosage: Because product forms vary, follow label directions.

· Silymarin. A cell-culture study found that silymarin, the antioxidant extract of milk thistle, inhibited Cox-2 formation. This role of silymarin may partly explain why earlier cell-culture studies found it to inhibit the growth of prostate, breast, and skin cancers. Daily dosage: 100-200 mg.

· Ginger. With a long history as a folk medicine, ginger inhibits Cox-2 and another proinflammatory compound, 5-lipoxygenase. This simple herb and condiment contains almost 500 different compounds, many of which are antiinflammatory, according to Thomas M. Newmark and Paul Shulick, authors of Beyond Aspirin: Nature's Answer to Arthritis, Cancer & Alzheimer's Disease (Holm Press, Prescott, Arizona, 2000). Daily dosage: 100 mg.

· Rosemary. This common kitchen herb is rich in ursolic acid and many of its derivatives. In laboratory experiments, Swedish researchers found that the ursolic acid extract of rosemary was a potent inhibitor of Cox-2 activity. Daily dosage: 100 mg.

· Curcumin. A natural pigment that accounts for the yellow color of the spice turmeric, curcumin is also a powerful antioxidant. A recent cell study by researchers at Cornell University, New York, found that curcumin blocked the activity of Cox-2. The researchers suggested that this property might explain some of the herb's anticancer effects. Daily dosage: 2.8 mg.

· Cat's Claw. Known as una de gato and Uncaria tomentosa, this Peruvian herb has a long history as a remedy for inflammatory arthritis. Recent cell-culture and animal experiments at the Albany Medical College, New York, found that cat's claw inhibited inflammation by blocking the activity of NF-kB. Daily dosage: Because products vary, follow label directions.

Thanks big guy, good information there.... I'll be adding these that you listed to my shopping list!

Alright, I'm launching a full assault on this tendonitis, if up until now I was waiting for nature to take its course and wait for this to go away I've came to the conclusion that could be a long and lazy process, so i'm taking things into my own hands per say, today I bought some B6 vitamin, Hylaronic Acid, Ginger (Zingiber officinalis), Glucosamine and realized I have some GLC2000 sample, i'll be dosing these plus continue to use the icy hot cream, specially at the gym. I plan to go in tomorrow morning and give it a try!
