DAA Headaches

I have a bottle of DAA I'd like to stack with Blue Gene + Blue GrowtH.

However... every time I use DAA I get these headaches.

Anyone else get these? And how do you remedy them?

Thanks.

Hey man! I've never gotten headaches from DAA...wondering though, have you ever tried splitting the dose up to see if that helped any? say 1.5g/AM & 1.5g/pm?

If there are too dramatic of changes in dopamine, it can give headaches. DAA and the other product would do that

However, most don't experience this with DAA
I know I haven't.they should subside

I haven't tried splitting the dose, perhaps I will give that shot from the get go.

i've read about other people getting them with DAA... not sure why, though.

good thought about the dopamine.

Never experienced this myself. I agree with trying to split the dosage up and see if that helps.

Good luck bud.

DAA lays me flat with migraines. PH's dont though. I guess im just unlucky because I love DAA as part of PCT.

I found the only way for me to stop the migranes was to stop the DAA.

It is thought that in some individuals there is an overlap of signal flow to the brain stem/spinal cord, and that this might be amplified by the glutamate system and NMDA receptor activation, resulting in headaches/migraines when over stimulation occurs. One animal study noted NMDA excitation caused pain stimulation in the neurons of the trigeminal nucleus, which initiates the headache aspect of migraines.

Very good thoughts...I wonder if those that experience headaches with DAA would notice little to no headaches if they used agmatine in conjunction with DAA....?

'...Agmatine is also believed to be able to prevent the highly unlikely event of D-Aspartic Acid induced neuro-toxicity. In short, Agmatine is believed to do so by preventing over-excitation of NMDA receptors and reversing the levels of activation.

The important thing to distinguish here is that exogenous application of Agmatine and D-Aspartic acid work on different mechanisms for the NMDA receptor, so regardless of one being an antagonist and the other an agonist, they do not overlap. Exogenous D-aspartic acid application utilizes the R-type VGCCs and none of the others, while exogenous Agmatine is said to use the L-type VGCCs and shows no signs of inhibition of the R-type VGCCs. Exogenous application of Agmatine will enhance its regulatory role in the body so that in higher levels of NMDA receptor activation, it will inhibit the receptor from higher glutamate release (so over-excitation leading to potential neuro-toxicity) by inhibiting the receptor.'

Interesting...I haven't noticed this myself, maybe cause I'm pretty supp tolerant. I'm currently in my 5th week of DAA and started week one with dosing double. Let us know if splitting the dosage helps any.

I also get nasty headaches from DAA. Headaches similar to being severely dehydrated, not a migraine type. I would love to continue using DAA but I'm on my back if I do :/

I found this post because I noticed Headaches from my first dose of DAA at about 3 grams in powder form. I decreased my next dose to 2 grams and experienced no recurring headaches so far. So at least for me decreasing the dose eliminated the headaches.

Well at least you aren't getting headaches while taking a useless supplement, better than suffering both in your head and wallet.
