GDAX is the way to go. I also like Kraken, if they could keep their site up for more than 5 minutes.

Ill start looking up GDAX....its a little frustrating in NY, I did try Kraken a while back but they want no part of this big government ses-pool and I dont blame them, lol. I signed up for Circle too only to get blocked. Robinhood, nice concept but no NY.
 
For some reason I thought you were overseas. But yeah, us state side folks are bound to limited options. Though I hate and don’t trust Tether, I’m using it more for part time holds to ride out dips.

Its out of California and Manila Philippians.

Whats cool about it is you can get the bitcoin at no fees. You first put in US dollars from bank or instant with American Express, and then you can play around with a whole group of "virtual" crypto's and you will have an actual value on your portfolio. You can exchange anything into anything listed. You can always exchange it to regular bitcoin and bitcoin only you can send to any non-Abra external wallet which I have done so successfully myself. I think you can send virtual cryptos such as XRP (you dont actually have XRP) to other Abra users but thats going off the top of my head Id double check that. My big positive is that I can get small amounts of bitcoin without paying the fees. Withdraw Bitcoin or cash with no fees.

Here are the fees...there are fees but for most simple things no fees. Of course there are mining fees when sending to another wallet though.

I’m definitely on the positive side....at one moment it hit 3 cents. Unfortunate Bytecoin had serious wallet issues both the official wallet and on the exchanges so I couldn’t do a quick dump to take advantage of the timing. I would have restocked a lot more on a dip. I’m really happy that it’s worth a lot more now that’s for sure :)

I’m guessing it’s going to drop again but for now I’ll just hold long term....I think. Could still cash out on a nice profit...hard decisions!!!!
 
I came thisclose to FOMOing in when I saw this rising. A 340% increase in a day is nuts even by crypto standards!

Also consider it was about 0.002 cents during the deepest dephs of hell of the crypto worlds just a tiny short time ago. I wanted to buy more at that point, at the same time I was so fed up everytime I bought crypto when I though the planet bottomed out there was another collapse. I was for sure thinking if I picked up more of anything even BCN would drop down to 0.0008 or something.
 
I think the future is going to be positive (not saying better than bitcoin) for certain anonymous coins that have a solid structure and support. With all the government intervention, IRS and regulation in loom demand for anonymous will be ^^^. Thats why I dont excactly want to let go of BCN although I somewhat wanted to dump and restock yesterday. On the contrary Ive slowly been compiling a small amount of XRP.

Disclaimer: Keep in mind peeps...Im a rookie small time crypto investor who so far hasnt succeeded to much outside of yesterday, lol.
 
I don’t carry any but the amount of phishing that is happening right now just makes me sad. There are at least 4 scams I am aware of trying to steal EOS tokens. Hopefully everyone follows r/crypto currency and is following this.

Gotta say today was a good day. Made a nice $2500 with the BAT surge and sitting on a huge pile of it for the hopeful continual ride up. It’s been a long time since I’ve turned a profit.
 
I’m saving up for mining rigges . Should be able to mine many coins and make per graphics chip few hundred bucks a month

I’m interested as well. I admittedly have not kept up on mining options as I assumed the payoff wasn’t worth the time and energy used.

I had a 1080+1050ti+8700k machine and turned it off a long time ago. It only made sense at that point to buy coins since I was breaking about even with electricity.

I’m going with bitex which will just mine what ever is profitable for the day . I have solar pannals so I’m going to farm with bunch of friends and we will all get bunch of Graphic cards and pool together .
 
Thought I would revive this thread. How we all doin? I got in late with BTC at $29k but still think it’s a solid move. Curious if anyone has made bog money from HODLing BTC here?

I personally think XRP is a sleeper as I think it has the best use case.

tbh I was gutted when Bitcoin back down to 5k ish as I tried to transfer 7.5k to my coinbase account to invest then (I had no idea it would reach where it has, but I felt doubling my money was likely). In the uk they’ve changed the rules since the last time I’d dabbled and my bank wouldn’t let me so I gave up. Literally tried to do it at the lowest point as well (that would have been luck not skill).

the only holding I have (which I’ve had for years) is GNT. I think someone on here mentioned it and I liked the user case. Long term hold though.
 
I sold a pretty decent amount of doge 2 weeks before it spiked to its highest. I just got frustrated with it and said screw it im getting out.

Then i just bought into ethereum classic at ~15 and now it dropped to mid 12s.

Things could be better for me on the crypto front...lol.

Have to look into the XRP & GNT yall mentioned.
 
I remember when this thread started. I saw it and thought, "nah, that'll never take off." Hindsight 20/20 now. I bought in with bitcoin and ethereum last week, but it's just been dropping since then. Using coinbase.

I'm doing good with xlm, xtz, BTC and a bunch of eth. I trade a lot and have been making money every week the past few months as I withdrawal about half my profits from buying low and selling high.

I lost thousands, but the other day I opened my mining account and found $50 worth of btc that was only worth $5 last time I checked a few years ago, lol

I invest in TRX now, but only what I had left over from my losses a few years ago. Im learning the stock game now, am behind but feel good, Im actually eyeing a few crypto stocks and invested in a penny crypto stock recently.
