Cooking at high heat does alter the structure of the protein (denature by definition) but the sequence of amino acids and nutritional value remain untainted. The body will break these peptide bonds regardless of the shape of the protein and use these aminos accordingly
Bingo. It has no harm at all. people think it does but it does not.
Just got another tub of vanilla and chocolate on the way! Cant pass up on the NP Deal. so ill have 4 tubs coming![]()

They look exactly like big bottles of OEP lol.
Bob, do you have any recipes or know of a site with protein bars that are high in fat and have low to no carbs? I am looking for a solid one for when school starts just in case I hit my carb macros for that day.
Cool. Is the calorie count for the whole thing?
What else would it be for? a quarter of it? Lol![]()
Add up the stuff in your fitday/my fitness pal and you will see!
Check this out for protein bars:

Any suggestions for future recipes Sir?
Can you maybe help me out with a healthy rice pudding recipe? My family loves the stuff but man it is unhealthy as hell lol.
Edit: I'm thinking maybe using the vanilla protein putting mixed with some smart balance or almond milk (for consistency) and subbing brown rice for white rice?
How about some cookies? Vanilla with chocolate frosting sounds good.
Ok, thats not a problem. ill mix one up for you soon. This is next on my list and very easy.
Would you want me to use my stove top method or cheap mans method? LOL
Haha whatever is easiest for you man. The help is much appreciated.
I have a simple 1 minute microwave cookie i could do (or brownie)
would you like that?
Either one would be great! Brownies would've been my next suggestion.
Absolutely man, i will get this up for you tomorrow i will prepare it tonight and let it sit overnight so it thickens up.
You can do it 2 ways
cook on stovetop
or mix in greek yogurt (once rice is cooked/cooled) and add in Whey protein
like making protein pudding + added rice it gives it a nice texture.
So again do you prefer which one i do?
Hmmm... The protein pudding version seems pretty straight forward. Any thoughts on how you would do the stove top version?
Ok ill do both recipes and get them up tomorrow..
Thanks again guys for the ideas. I hope you and the guys at USP like them!
