I think post #32 adds the most humor to the contest, but then again, I'm biased :p

I got a big tub of Green Mag on the way tomorrow so now I gotta get creative with that !

Whoa! I just went over there to check on this, and all I can say is WTF BulkHogan?! I tolerated your misguided comment regarding my wife's boner and responded with humor. But now you are on my sh*t list. Man, you should know some AM members like to run over to BB.com for comic relief every now and then.

Credit for the green bulge pic seems to go to Greek_Elite from BB.com, and the "I'm in your kitchen" and "2 scoops" white flood pics are Stubbs928's from BB.com.

On a positive note... my pics have a better chance of winning now that these two great caption contest entries were exposed for being stolen!! Good catch DBlakester/GreenSquats..

nothing was stated saying we can't post photos from elsewhere. even the barack obama pics were from elsewhere along with all the photoshops. also technically all the photoshopped pictures would be not allowed in the post since they didn't "take the photo".

at least i asked others about using pictures. ANYTHING GOES.

the thread is supposed to be fun not a run at the presidency.

How is asking someone else if you can use the pics they made being creative ? You know, the whole point of this contest in the 1st place... and you def. got the wrong impression of what RR meant by anything goes lol but w/e.

A serious answer regarding the viking helmet because I've had it for several years and that little plastic thing means a lot to me.

I used to work for a small startup development company, and my coworkers became family. We used to battle with the sales people every day, which helped bond us closer together but was a constant pain and made our jobs miserable. We used to have to cordon off our side of the building during a heavy development push so they would leave us the f'k alone. One day we got a shipment in. It was a box full of viking helmets. Our boss would wear his during one of these heavy pushes, and we'd put ours on. The sales team learned quickly to leave us alone when wearing these, as we were given permission to respond violently if they interrupted us while wearing these helmets. Berserker Time!

Best time I've EVER had while coding.

Actually no, I check out the bb.com boards sometimes. I caught this by accident. No big deal bro, but you should've really mentioned that you didn't use your own creativity.

Passing someone's work off as your own is NOT acceptable or even forgivable in my book.

That'd work for me :) But I'm pretty sure the intention of this particular (and may I say particularly fun) contest was to see what creative things our members could come up with. While the BB.com forumer's entries were very entertaining, I'm pretty sure they do not fit the contest.

being someone who really doesn't have a shot at winning this i can look at it from both sides...

hulk and clown, the idea was to be creative, and though i don't have too big of a problem with what you did....the way you handled it was untactful and a bit immature

everyone else, the rules did not specify that you couldn't use someone elses picture, however they are not being as creative as making their own. creativity is the thread name so creativity will lead to the winner. i don't have a problem with exposing that they got them from bb.com, however RR is on both forums and would def have noticed this.
 
Yeah i would say simply that you can steal anyone else's photos for the benefit of the entries on here. ie. There are people outside of the US and Canada who know that their entries are null and void but are still posting pictures because its an interesting competition.

However, the clue really is in the title, stealing someone else's photos and passing them off as your own, just isn't CREATIVE. So like the international posters, go ahead and post up 'your' photos but don't do so expecting to win!

I havent checked BB.com but i would be interested to know if those who have used other peoples photos from there, have posted their entries in the bb.com competition? If not then my question would be:

If you thought it would be ok, why didnt you post it in the original competition thread which you were reading at the time (on bb.com)?

I am aware of this... Although I don't think there should be a witch hunt over this, though, because after all the thread is just for fun so let's have some fun!!! :)

However I did think that it was an unspoken rule / common sense to use your own pictures.

The winners will be chosen based on creativity and originality.

umm those are ALL my own pictures. I am a member of bb.com and here. Each photo I have posted here is a photo I took or a gif I made. I have already messaged RenegadeRows and others about this.

I prefer you not drag me through the mud over here please.
