Total number of views can easily be misleading, you're going to get people hitting refresh numerous times to artificially increase the number of views. In fact I can make a script if anyone wants that will refresh that page increasing view number by whatever amount you want. I'd say a better qualification would be the number of replies to to the thread but people will also just create false accounts.
Since you're giving away $2250 in free product why not just give out some free product for logs as most companies do? Get a number of logs going on bb.com and you'll see your products being carried by a number of online retailers. It's worked well for companies like controlled labs.

Giving out free product to review may or may not reduce results. There would be more drive if you won something and thus better results but also more chance of someone lying. If I'm using a product it tends to motivate me more so that I'm not wasting the product.
I favor the free product giveaway for logs as it seems to create more hype around the product. Of course it can bite you in the ass if results aren't as expected, look at Melting Point and ActivaTe betas. People ask daily for the final version of the latter product and this is based off reports from users of the beta. BB.com has a large reader base so a dozen or so logs of Cissus and PowerFULL could do wonders to get the product carried by by more retailers.
USPLabs is a bit over the top with the thread titles here and this initally put me off to their products. The user reviews here of Cissus though convinced me to try it and to my surprise it lived up to hype. Word of mouth via these reviews is the cheapest and most effective form of advertising. Sure companies can claim that they've done extensive internal beta testing or fund studies but what ultimately sells the products are reviews from other users that people can associate with.

I value your opinion and its an approach we have taken since the inception of our company. The contest is to reward previous customers. We are at a point that our Products have stood the test of time. We can reward previous customers and gain new ones. The contest will take shape tomorrow.
Take care
Yes please run a log at musclesoc.com usplab section:} I will hook you up with a free product post log:}.200wannabe said:I have just started Cissus & Camphibolic today for the first time. Will happily provide reviews.
My decision to purchase came from the overwhelmingly positive feedback i have seen.
Not sure what your competition is as you have edited the thread.
Im in the UK where i believe your about to start supplying, i can run a log on a UK board if you wish.

We haven't launched the competition because ersatz and Onslaught are cheaters. Just kidding!!
Seriously, thank you guys for your input. That's exactly why I wanted to run this by everyone. I was having a difficult time coming up with a fair way to select a winner, and I think it may do more harm than good to run the competition before that happens.
