Clomid everyday a waste?

I've always wondered what the theories were on this. But I saw that Clomiphene has a halflife of 5-7 days.

Does this mean that taking clomid everyday during PCT is a waste?

I would continue to take it every day but at smaller doses, starting out at 50mgs and working down. Great when combined with Nolva.

You need to keep blood plasma levels up and stable so nothing fluctuates too much, hence why you dose it everyday...

Think of the 5-7 day half life as a sliding window from the last day you take it. Like said above, by taking it everyday you keep your levels regulated. When you stop taking it at the end of your PCT it will still be working it's way out of your system for 5-7 days. At least that is the way I understand it.

half life is sometimes misunderstood, it means that when 5 to 7 days is up there's half of the drug still active. i see your point though. this is a bit of bro-science but dosing it everyday will allow for your peak to begin in 5 to 7 days.
day 1 50mgs.
day 2 50mgs (keeping in mind the half life and the 50mgs you just took the day before)
day3 50 mgs (now you have somewhere in the area of 150mgs active)
day 4......well you get the picture

it's hard to determine exactly where you'll be in 5 to 7 days but it will not be 50mgs active in your body for sure. again, i see your point. but after the half life has been met, wether that be in 5, 6 or 7 days you blood will remain stable until one of 2 things happen, you start taking it altogether and then the levels will drop everyday or until you decrease dosage causing the same thing.

youll end up with problems if you do a dose of clomi every 5 to 7 days.
