Clen and muscle building...

So i picked up a Musclular Developmetn cause once in awhile i like to read the BB mags.

It has an article saying Clenbuterol promotes protein synthesis and something about mTOR...?

I dont know much about clen but i have never read about it helping in retaining or building muscle...anyone shine some light on this fro me or link me to another article/research?

From what Ive heard on clen, It's supposed to be anti-catabolic. It has some amazing muscle retaining abilities. It can be thought of as Leviathan I guess, Fat loss, while preventing muscle lost. Clen is a lot more potent however in that. It's also pretty dangerous as well. Overdosing on Clen leaves a side effect of death. Proper dosages however = immense fat burning while protecting muscle. Not sure about "building muscle" but maybe theres an explianation for that. You can technically build muscle while on a cut I guess.

I gotcha man. i been reasearchin it the past month or so alot, i know its pretty serious stuff.
I just couldnt figure how it helpedbesides prtein synthesis, i am guessin its more of a retaining than building.

Back in the day I saw someone posted saying it caused protein synthesis in animals, but it was never proven in humans.

I used clen last year during track season. I used it to improve my endurance and it did a fairly good job. While working out on it I got stronger and became extremely cut. It also increased my body temperature so I still stayed lean. Overall I feel its a good product but I don't think I will use it again.

I like clen, but it's negative VO2 effects keep me from using it anymore. Clen isn't anabolic in people because we lack certain receptors, but they are prevalent in rats (the exact one escapes me at the moment).

Clen is amazing at increasing overall endurance. I assume it is considered anabolic because it increases the metabolic rate. I love how there is no crash from clen beacuse of the very long half life. Leviathan Reloaded has a very similar effect with the addition of 11-hydroxy Yohimbine that has a half life of around 8 hours.....hence the no crash

I was only able to find the anticatabolic/anabolic effects documented in a study on rats with burn wounds. I'm definitely interested.

I'm almost certain clen is catabolic while on a cut, without the use of AAS.

The studies I've seen show possible slight anabolic effects in humans if used for 6 months or more straight, if you can keep upregulated somehow (with keto etc). Imo I don't really think it's safe to use at a high dose for this length of time. Risk outweighs the benefits imho. If someone were looking to get cut while building muscle, I could think of better/safer ways off the top of my head.

Never use clen "on cycle". It causes your heart to beat very fast for extended periods. This can lead to hypertrophy of the ventricles.....and trust you don't want that!!!

Ahh that's true. I know people who use albuterol while 'on' (myself included once). Probably has the same risk even though it has a shorter half life, since most people dose albuterol several times per day. Good point.
