I think the end of it may have been fake. I really don't think he would just drop dead from that. At first he would probally get sick and throw up. Also if he really died I think they would take down the video out of respect for their friend.
 
well i dont think that he died right there. in the video they said they were calling 911 so he probably died later in the hospital or ambulance. but if you chug that much everclear you really do not have much time to live. even if they hesitated a little bit it could be fatal and it looked like enough time elapsed that alot of alcohol was already in his bloodstream.
 
he went to the back and came back with a lighter... during that time he put some on his finger and then came back and acted like he stuck his finger in the bottle. Notice he didnt tip the bottle so he could get it on his finger.

hmm possible... but why would he go to the kitchen to put something on his finger. if it was staged he would have just had it on there the whole time and a lighter in his pocket. i still think it looks too real to be called fake.
 
I've had 2 nosebleeds in my entire life:

1. in a head-on collision with another truck while going over 120km/h (70-ish mph)

2. when I drank Everclear punch in rez.
I would not even do a shooter of that stuff after that...
 
It has to be fake. I've taken Everclear shots when I was a 19 yo drunken idiot, and the burn is unbelievable. I couldn't imagine anyone ever drinking half a bottle without yacking after about 2 or 3 shots worth.

Half of a bottle is at least 10 shots . Everclear = ~2.4 shots of vodka per shot. If he drank 24 shots worth of vodka in 1 min, he would most likely die.
 
I feel bull****. It hit him too late, it seemed staged when his friend looked at the camera before he got up, and then the camera dropped in near perfect position. Wouldnt a dog be able to tell if youve stopped breathing and start barking like crazy? oh and the music wtf?
 
I call bs too. I don't think he died but if he did .....there you have it kids, don't be like this guy as it will kill you!
 
It's BS, it's just a water, no ****ing way he would chug half of bottle of everclear. Believe me, I know! :D Look at his face when he does it, you'd be choking for air! it's ****ing fake!
 
I just watched again. Bottle wasn't sealed he opened it really easy, then he went to the kitchen and dipped his finger into something burnable and then he stuck his finger into the bottle, to make it look like he dipped it, but he stuck only quarter of his finger, which is no way factory bottle would be filled that full.
 
Right after I turned twenty one me and my friends went out and got completely wasted and during the course of a couple hours I polished off about 3/4 of a bottle of bacardi 151. Needless to say the next day I wanted to die, constant vomiting, temp of 103, pounding headache. First and last time I have ever drank now whenever I see any kind of alcohol I gag a little. I can't imagine what its like to pound everclear like that.

I just heard about bacardi 151 a few days ago, I am gonna try it on my next birthday. My hard drink of choice has been setruce(spelling???????) had one on the weekend, its nice stuff not too strong either I think its something like 75% not too sure.
 
LOL ripped force I drank a little more than 1/2 a bottle of 151. I drank it fairly fast so one minute I felt fine and the next I was knocked out. I'd also never do that again.
 
Yeah in a way I'm glad that i did it cause now I don't have any desire to ever drink again. That and the fact that the last coherent thought I had that night was wanting to shave my cat. :think:

After 3 shots of vodka I had earlier that start going down like water, the setruce isnt so bad, although my mouth dried up really fast so I quickly drank 2 glasses of water.
What I find hard to swallow is whiskey.

Edit: Awesome, finally found out our to spell setruce: Chartreuse.

Its only 55% alcohol wtf. I 1st started drinking it cause it was what the bar lady gave me when I asked for there strongest drink, and half the time the bar ladies will squirm while they watch me drink it, oh well one of those 130 herbs and spices still manages to put me on my ass somehow.
 
I have a bottle of 160 proof vodka that I'll use for herb extractions and whatnot...even a drop burns like hell in your mouth. I cant imagine someone chugging half a bottle...
 
I dont think your body would even allow you to chug something that strong. Your gag reflex woule immediatly take over. In my younger days ive did shots of ever clear and i can still feel how much it burnt going down. Just thinking about this now makes me want to puke.
 
Everclear is half responsible for me being sober today.

We would always end up mixing it with something, but by the end of the night we would be all fcuked up and take a shot.

This vid has to be fake though, I could see him chugging the first time, but to put the bottle down and start again????

75% ethanol will become volatile at a very low temp, and will thus vaporize in your throat as you are chugging it, you can't just simply sit there and drink it like that without taking frequent breaks. So I'd have to agree with Dmitry.


Another thing is that EtOH has a molecular weight of 46. At that concentration it is small enough and abundant enough for a significant amount to penetrate through your tongue and go directly into your bloodstream; therefore, completely messing you up before you're even finished chugging it.
 
3 gulps is all I could handle in my selfdestructive hayday and I was an alcoholic and Ive got the rehab papers to prove it.

3 sips (the summer after highschool) and my buddy woke up with "Hitler Youth" written on his forehead along with a few pictures of male appendages on his chin. The funniest part was this face-grafiti was done while he was still awake and (to a limited degree) aware of what was going on around him.
 
this video is total BS. I agree with the post that he never tipped his bottle - his finger was absolutely soaked with whatever flammable substance he used - and i bet it was gel based to last as long as it did on his finger.

you'd be at the very least gasping for air at the end of chugging that. Had to be water.

And, as was said, if this was your buddy who died - EVEN IF YOU WERE PUTTING THIS OUT AS A WARNING TO OTHERS - would you put that stupid rock and rock music background? No, you would want it to be taken seriously
 
You know what.....I don't even care. If you're ignorant enough to chug EC, you deserve the alcohol poisoning that follows.
