I mean a lot of ppl at the gym say I'm big. But I feel small. I think I'm just strong for my weight. Cuz I rep 110's and 120's on incline dumbbell too. I think it's genetic.

Hahaha!! Hell no!!! Actually, I have no clue how much I can barbell bench. I do close grip with 225. But flat barbell is hard on my shoulders so I don't do it for chest. Only triceps. My buddy who I train with is 165 I think he was at his meet and hit 315 on bench. Won the comp and beat the state record. He was 19. Legit. Kids a monster.

I feel your pain. Barbells have ruined my shoulders. Only problem is my gym only goes up to 120 on dumbbells. Cant grow with out taxing muscles.

315 is legit for a 165 lb dude especially in a competition setting.

Word bro. My gym goes to 140's. So I still got some room to improve quite a bit before I'm maxed out there. Have you tried like hammer strength machines? I do those too. Like the ones you see pros using in vids.


Yea. I'm gonna train him for his next competition. :D gonna put on some more muscle then get his bf down to around 6% should be able to maintain strength and still make weight.

Ok. It's been a minute since I did the 225. But I got the 110's no prob. Idk man. Idk if it's the way my shoulders rotate on each plane or what.

Ok, so I had a problem similar to that 2 years ago! Try this next time at the gym
Rotate your shoulders back and squeeze your shoulder blades together. And out your pinky on the groves of the bar. Let me know how that feels on your shoulders.

Solid advice. Rolling your shoulders back and under isolates the hell out of chest.

It's definitely helped me put up big numbers on flat. And I'm 196 repping out 405 for 5 reps and that's at probably 6% right now... With out carbs in me! Lol

I was afraid at first because I didn't know if I could control the extra alpha male kick... I already wanna run over every mother F***** on the road that cuts me off. (yes I'm the typical Texan with a lifted truck) but I had to take it for contest prep and it didn't cause any ab normal anger/rage side effects!

Yeah the alpha ego may be a bit much for me. Im already as arrogant as any new yorker comes. I dont think it could get worse.

And if you haven't noticed from my hints of the pros I know and work out with... **** is so easily avaliable for me it's not even funny.
And no to stack all three of those at once..
Ive only been on cycle for 2 months this past 17th.. So I still have a while, this is just the beginning! Lol

And Thabks bud! I'm pretty piased at how I did but with 4 months of training and only 2 months on cycle I've made some damn good gains!

I agree; it is interesting to see what everyone is doing these days. I will eventually run a cycle so the info on this forum is awesome for learning. I want to do it right if I decide to do it.
