I think I'm gonna go back to preacher curls this week. Standing DB curls with that much weight aggrevates my biceps tendon. Lemme know if you wanna compete with a different exercise.......say DB Shoulder Press?

I did 80 for 4 this morning (struggled getting started for some reason). Did 80 for 5 last week with no problems.
I'm surprised you don't use DB's with shoulder press, since you use them with Bench.
i`m guessing that swinging 110lb DBs up to my shoulders from the hip is kinda hard.
yeah i always start off slow with heavy DB curls and then get into a nice rythem.
as for the shoulder press, its not a keystone lift for me. i do it just to do it, not really to improve on it that much. and i guess another big reason i go with BB over DB`s is that i train alone 99% of the time and i`m guessing that swinging 110lb DBs up to my shoulders from the hip is kinda hard.
It is. I can get 100's up on my shoulders with a kick up, but 110's fall to my knees like your mamma when I drop my pantaloons. I found my breaking point in kick ups.
seriously though, it is hard to kick 110's seated to shoulders... you gas yourself just trying.
It's easier than you'd think. Try doing them seated (that way you're not as tempted to "help" with your knees), kick them up like you would with Incline DB Press and you're good 2 go.
