Stepped on the scale this morning I'm officially 3 weeks off and sitting at 221lbs.. That's still a total gain of 7 very lean lbs, and I'm happy with it.. I should also say that for the last 3 weeks my calories for the day have been reduced by 300, for a total of around 1,900 cals. per day. Been getting a lot of comments on how lean I look![]()

Looks like there should be some muscle hardening in your future Caz! Funny how some of us can rock 1900 cals without muscle loss but can't eat 2500 without starting to gain some fat... Although recently I did get my metabolism to bump up a bit and was able to recomp at 2650! That is normally full on bulk days for me...

Dang I'm a fatty then.. I've been consuming 31-3300 cals a day.. But my expenditure is pretty high because of the work I do ..
It took a bit of playing around, my coach helped me with it. Shoot me over an example of your typical macros and stuff and I will see if I can't offer up a few suggestions.how did you do that cause I was bulking at 2,300... Any help would be awesome..

I have a desk job, don't do too much at physical activity at work, and on top of that I have just never had a very fast metabolism. Now once I learned what I needed to do to lose weight it comes off very easily but others shudder at how low my metabolism is. The last few weeks I have been at 2100 cals and getting leaner but with 60mgs DMZ in the mix I am not dropping actual scale weight. I was recomping at 2600 when I was bridging with 4 1-Alpha a day and 20mgs of Ostanish. However @60mg the DMZ is just so strong I am adding muscle again even at 2100... Actually since my show is going to be a month farther out we just bumped me up to 2250 cals a day. People like Tyga would wither away immediately on those type of calories.
In all honesty though when I look at it more openminded, it is cheaper for me to gain muscle due to not needing as much food. Certainly it is easier for me to gain fat as well but in the long run I think having a bit slower metabolism is a win for me. I mean it isn't like I sit around hungry at 2100 cals a day. My needing less for more doesn't seem to have a negative effect other than people telling me I am not eating enough for my size. Then again how do they think I got to be this size???

Sounds good to me! I will definitely see if I can help out. Part of it was figuring out where my carbs needed to be then things got pretty good. I went from not being able to go over 150 a day on the regular to doing well at 250 a day on the regular. Once I could get that up a bit my metabolism started to speed up a little but even then don't expect a huge difference but 300 cals a day more does give a bit of wiggle room when you get to add it in.
I hope you can see it but this is what a normal day looks like. I have recently cut out the almonds and cheese to get below 2,000 a day.. Oh forgot to mention that eggs and fish are no goes for me that's why you don't see them..
Why does it say your goals for carbs are 225 and fats so low when you are eating about 100 and 100 of each? Do you adjust your goals on there so they reflect what you are trying to do? The goal it says for your fats would be so uncomfortable to me. So your basic days are about 100f, 100c, and 200p?

Sorry gentlemen but not much to update from this weekendI got to the gym late on Friday and didn't even finish my workout.. I'm getting sick of my gym and I'm looking into a 24 hour place. A Lifetime Fitness gym is opening in Nov. that's 24 hours but they want $100 per month!!! This place is going to have to really be special for me to pay that kind of money.. Anyway Sat and Sun were both off days just crazy running around with the kids.. My 4 year old tested for his yellow belt this weekend and did awesome!! He made his Daddy so proud!!! Tonight I'll try to get a full workout in..

Congrats on the new belt for the lil one! My daughter will be testing for her red belt in the next couple weeks. We have a tournament coming up for her too which means there will be videos of the tourny in my log of course. Cute Lil Guy by the way!
As far as $100 a month where on earth do you live that anyone could justify $100 on a gym membership? I mean I could see paying 100 if you got a trainer assigned to you who aided you or spotted you but other than that I just can't imagine what could possibly make a gym worth $100 a month short of being one of the only choices for miles anyway. My wife and I pay like 70 for both of ours combined at 24Hr, and then Fitness Connection is only $10 a month each...
Need about 10 more lbs on my frame.

Nice looking gym and if the Yoga and Pilates classes are included and at times you can make it then yeah it would be worth the money to be honest. I did a little yoga and a lot of pilates a while back, 3 times a week actually. I loved it man, got super flexible, my core was crazy strong, just felt great all over and had better control of my body. I really miss it.Thanks Kleen then you know how awesome it is to watch them test for the belt... So great to see him set his mind on something and complete it!! As for the gym, I live in Bergen county NJ which unfortunately is one of the most expensive in the country.. The gym looks like a mall from the outside, indoor and outdoor pool you name it everything you could imagine and more but 100 per month is still crazy!!! Here is a link to the place

From what I could tell they look good the angle was hard to tell for sure. Definitely fine for bodybuilding but I couldn't see where your hip line was compared to your knee and your quad development is thick so I can't go off of your thigh. A power lifter may disagree but looked parallel from what I saw.
