Would you deduct the fiber grams from Quest bar's carbs? or do you include them...

Interested to see how this works out for you over the next couple of weeks.. I need a nutritional change..

I don't include the fiber from anything.

Also, how are you dosing the AP... 1-2, 20 minutes before you eat? and at bedtime?

1 cap usually 20+ minutes before I end up eating (15-20 mins prior is recommended). I don't use it pre bed, but have been using it pre-workout as a part of FTP.

Yes, but I didn't consider the sugar alcohol. There's only 1g in a CCCD Quest Bar, so I'm not worried about it.

I have had some other bars where 20g came from sugar alcohol (and had read that number should be deducted just like fiber). That said, I won't likely use them again as the Quest bars are so good.

They CAN still affect blood sugar, much less than regular sugar. For your belly's sake, I'd avoid em :thumbsup:

Are you on a keto diet currently?

I'm non-keto low carb; typically 100-150g of carbs per day with refeeds every week.

Speaking of Quest Bars, sugar alcohol, fiber, and net carbs; I had a CCCD bar and PB cups yesterday and another CCCD bar today...according to ketone testing strips, I'm currently in ketosis.

Welcome purebred. VERSA-1 is one of my favorite products; I actually got to beta test it and have cycled it ever since. I'd recommend you give it a shot.

Thanks brother. Not too "painful" at this point, but a carb up should be fun. I had planned on one today, but might hold off another day. I couldn't handle any diet involving fish lol, can't stand it. You're killing it man; I'm confident that you'll do great.

A fine win tonight. Would have liked to have seen Jagr pot one on that breakaway though.

Today's leg session was intense. I don't think I could've sweat any more and was ready to pass out at numerous points during the workout lol.

-very strict form: had someone hold my lower back/hips down, so hamstrings did all the work.



Safety Bar Squat (explosive)

-I kept with explosive squats, but used a safety squat bar to change the mechanics slightly. These felt great and my explosiveness is improving.

-I couldn't find the pads for the bar, so I stuck a random one on. It was somewhat uncomfortable, but not too bad with the weight being fairly light.

You're in for a treat bud. Those cccd bars are ridiculously good. After what you've been through, I'd probably grab a pint of each Talenti Gelato flavor and eat until I got sick haha.

I just started my first carb up; feels great after being around 30g most of the week.
