Thanks for the heads up bolt. I actually checked sometime in the last couple days. This seems to keep happening right when I don't want to spend any money...I'll probably end up buying them anyway :).

Another sick variation brotha! I just got home from shoulders... wish I would have seen this beforehand :(

Thanks dude. If there's a similar machine at your gym, I'd definitely give them a try.
Triceps much breezy? Not that I was checkin you out or anything.

Lol. Thanks man.

Thanks for the vid.. interesting move for sure..

No problem wasme. It's a keeper

Definitely man! Ours is more upright, But I think it will sill give that angle directly over the shoulders/ slightly behind. Definitely going to try it!

Cool. Let me know how it works out.

Gut Health and Giant Sports PB Chocolate were waiting for me when I got back from the gym, and I'm very excited about it.

The old Gut Health was a staple for me, which I found very beneficial. I had severe GI issues in the past, so optimizing my "gut health" is extremely important to me.

The PB Chocolate protein smells amazing, and I'll be trying it when I break my fast.

I have a couple workout updates that I'll post sometime today.

Giant Sports protein is the best value/taste on the market today.

Yeah, great price, taste, and consistency. I haven't tried PB Choc, but heard it's awesome. You try it yet?

Had the vanilla and the cookies and cream. Very smooth, easy to mix, delicious! Their other flavors are on my radar.

Those are the two flavors that I've had as well. PB Choc was just released a few weeks ago.

Those backwards presses look interesting. You never fail to bring the new exercises Breezy. I'm pretty sure we have the same exact machine at my gym. I might have to give those a shot...

It really couldn't have worked out any better. Yeah, John Meadows has inspired me to up the creativity of my workouts haha. It's an Icarian machine, and if you have one, I'd definitely give them a shot. The entire movement feels great, especially the squeeze at the top.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that ours is an Icarian, but I never touch the thing so I haven't even looked at it in a while. One the list for shoulder training today are these and horizontal presses...

That was actually the first time I'd ever used it lol. I'm not a fan of shoulder pressing machines in general...until now :D. Awesome, look forward to hearing what you think.

Got my Gut Health today too...packaging is slick IMO.

Thanks bean. I had always trained primarily for strength until starting Mtn. Dog a few months ago. I'm nowhere near as strong as I'd like to be though.

Look forward to hearing what you think of VERSA-1. I'm already on my 4th bottle lol...love the stuff.

Thanks again :)

Cool. I think you'll like it man.

You sir are an animal.

Haha. Thanks boss.

I like your style. Taking notes over here.

I like your moves.

This was a part of today's massive fast-breaking meal (entire meal was ~2400 calories).

Bacon Asparagus Strata

IMG_20130331_151850.jpg

It was awesome. I don't have the exact recipe (didn't make it), but it's similar to the one found at the below link. I know that the peppers were swapped for onions, uncured turkey bacon was used instead of ham, and the English muffins were Ezekiel.

No gym today.

I weighed 214.6lbs (-2.4lbs overall) this morning and am looking a little leaner.

Vascularity has started to improve since starting VERSA-1 and C20.

Looks delicious. Vascularity is awesome on my end of things as well. I'm around 7 weeks in with VERSA-1™. Compound 20 would only add to that...

It was great. I don't like asparagus that much (grilled is decent), but thought it went well with everything else. Good to hear, do you still have a log going? Yeah, it's an awesome combo for vascularity; my veins should really start to shine when my body fat gets lower.

Hey buddy! Thanks for following!

I hope you log on everyday. This thread moves fast haha

haha. It's due to all the support from great people like you Jiigzz :wink1:

For some reason I was unsubscribed... I must have hit the unsubscribe button on my phone the other day. Don't hate me haha.

I'm just about to finish up my 8 week V-1 run. I've got a few bottles of C-20 I'm waiting to run also.

Also interested in how Gut Health treats you.

Time to get caught up. Sorry bro I've been a bit swamped with everything lately! Like bayne said don't hate me! I'm sure you've been straight killing it like usual!

Lol it's all good man. I might've done the same to your thread, unless you just haven't posted in a couple days haha.

That's sad, but sounds like it went well (in your log). Look forward to hearing what you think of C20 brotha.

So far so good. I'm already noticing less gas :). I finished a probiotic 2 days before starting Gut Health that didn't seem to make a big difference.

I almost quit lifting due to your absence :D jk. No problem brother! I've been busy lately and have some catching up to do as well. Things are going great.

4/1/13

I added a few exercises to my arm session that hadn’t been done in a while. My workout ended up being a mix of Mtn. Dog and some of my personal favorites. I had a great time and couldn’t have been happier about my performance. Strength, endurance, energy, and focus were all on point, which was great considering my caloric intake has been down.

2 warm-up x10
30x10
30x10
30x10

Reverse Grip Pressdowns (10 sec rest)
160x12
140x10
120x10

70x8

Dips

Nice workout bro! Video has mr. Breezy looking like a monster!!

Awesome numbers and update bro. Not too shabby of a video either :D. I love hitting some heavy dips with some extra added weight around the waist. Seems like everything is going great for you so far.

But ya I haven't updated my log for the past two days (off days) and not much to note on. Glad to be back in here with everyone though.

Thanks man. My form wasn't the best at that point. Dips are a favorite of mine as well. I used to do them twice a week before starting MD. Sure is; strength is going up and fat is going down

Cool. That's what I figured. Good to have you back boss.

It hasn't been the same without you bayne.. :)

Catching up on your past logs has me glad I'm following this now, love your workout routines and learning some new variations, I won't put up close to your numbers but I will be stealing some of these ideas to try out for sure, looking forward to see how C20 treats you, give me a heads up for what I can expect. Keep killing it!

Glad you enjoyed them man. If you ever have any questions about the exercises (or anything else), please don't hesitate to ask. C20 always treats me well. It's helped me lean out somewhat while consistently eating a caloric surplus (diet and training were on point) , so I'm thinking it'll really shine during my cut. I'll be sure to keep you posted on my progress. Will do!

Damn breezy..... Enough said

Haha thanks wasme.

Thanks classic. I noticed that as well. Vascularity has really started to pick up the last few days (about a day after starting V-1/C20) and I'm excited for what's to come.

4/2/13

Today's workout took a lot out of me. My legs were destroyed and walking tomorrow is going to be a problem.

Seated Leg Curl
2 warm-up x20
140x15
160x12
180x8, 100x8, 180x25 partials

BB Pause Squat (3-4sec eccentric, 4sec pause just below parallel, explosive concentric)
135x5
225x4
315x4
315x4
315x4
335x4
335x4

-I was reading an old Charles Poliquin blog and got inspired to add these in today. The pause was brutal and my legs are currently in rough shape.

Smith Lunge/(Hack) Squat (30sec rest between supersets)
200x8 / x8
200x6 / x6
200x6 / x6

-20lbs bar resistance

-Lunge reps per leg

-I might need to start doing cardio because I was close to passing out. I’ve actually been considering HIIT and these might have sealed the deal.

Single Leg Machine Press (no lockout/3sec neg)
200x12
240x8
240x8

Ham Killers (3sec neg/2 sec hold)
8
8
8

-I had planned on doing GHRs, but it wasn’t available. The approach I took made these very tough.

Example

Solid pause squat weight. Speaking of HIIT I recently added hill sprints back in and man they were brutal. I still love them tho. :o

Ya same...and it was brutal. I felt slow and it pissed me off. Hopefully the weather warms up so I can easily get around to hitting the track and hill consistently again.

Doing speed work this 3 weeks (think DE for 3 weeks straight, ballistic method, etc.). Gonna post videos of some of the sets, but I look slow off the box. (Box squats)

Thinking that may be because I've neglected most of my sprinting and box jumping (plus not doing DE type stuff) or maybe its all in my head....
