Morning AM, up and at it this morning. Pretty chilly at 3am but we aint worried bout nuffin like that 💪

So first workout week 4 with small weight increases . Got every rep, every set. Yes I could feel the small increase in weight but I got them all.

Will probably do accessories, HITT, or rest tomorrow. Not sure yet.

Messed around with the deads grips. Looking like I either need to get a stronger overhand grip, straps, or just stay with the mix hook. I tried different grips and stances this morning. Still haven't found the sweet spot. Trying to protect the lower back and shins. Yall ever scrape them shins up doing deads?

Morning AM, rest day today. Still sore from the labor from the weekend. Not an issue as I will hit 5 x 5 tomorrow and I'm off Friday - Monday and plan on some good sessions.

The bad news......mother n law went to dinner with us Saturday night = COVID.

Wife up all night suffering, she never gets sick = COVID....

Man my wife is some kind if heartbroken. We do xmas real big at our house and our son is in route from SC. What fukkn blower. This is her first round with the rona.

Gotta stay positive as its only Wednesday, we may be able to salvage a few days over the weekend.

Last night and this morning she sounded horrible. Actually in tears, not sure if that was being sick or upset.

She is up and about, not just lying around today. Loading up on some goodies.

If I know my polish princess, she will be ready to rock n roll by Saturday

Two kids at home are fine as of now, oldest boy is in route to MD from SC. Im good as of now. I'll prolly hang outside or go to the camper at the marina.

Feel really bad for her mom and her. Christmas is all out for us. We do Xmas eve blowout at my parents in which my brother and his family come in from out of town.

Christmas at our house Sunday with her family with a super blowout. Freaking sukks.

I'm telling yall, she is gonna be ready by Saturday. Probably will miss my folks get together but I'm sure our will be rocking on Sunday even if it's just my family of 5, sumn good is gonna happen.

Morning AM, up and at it for a strong performance on week 4 workout A. Increases on all lifts, powering through!!!

Favorite part of this mornings workout was seeing the plates on each side of the bar on overhead press. Made me happy 😊

Accessories tomorrow, I have a video of a set of overhead press this morning that I want to post. Moving weight pretty solid.

Polish princess was decent last night but hurting again this morning. Poor thang, we made her a make shift room in the walk in closet. We have a portable bed that we use for her father when he comes into town. Set up a night stand and a TV. Kind of reminds me of a cell. I think the fever is setting in over night and this morning. Once we break this fever it will be all uphill.

Solid workout this morning. Definitely feeling an increase in strength, very noticeable on accessory days.

Off for some Daddy daughter time to tighten up some last minute Xmas stuff.

I think since I told her not to get me anything for Christmas to save toward me getting gyno removal she doesn't want to have much either but that ain't happening on my watch!

Workouts have been awesome qith the new 5 x 5, accessories, food, Karbolyn.....its all coming together.

I had to run out and get some gift cards, dog food, shake shop, and my boys are duck hunting and said they were just sooooo starved I had to run them food.

I guess the lb of bacon and dozen eggs this morning wasn't enough. Tightening up around the house now getting prepared for power outages. Firewood and water.

Sounds good, we are expecting some power outages here in Houston too. We don't hit 16 degrees often, and of course our insulation is meant to keep heat out not in so it takes a lot more energy to heat our houses in this cold than up there so our power grid is probably gonna get it's ass kicked.

Its 34 here but the dam wind is howling at 40mph. Its supposed to get down to 9 degrees.

Off topic, you know an artist Koe Wetzel? He is from El paso. Independent artist been on the scene for years and is just know blowing up. I got 7 tickets to see him in May in Baltimore and 4 to see him in SC with my son next year. He has his own style.

Morning AM, this will complete week 4. Wasnt really in the mood to train this morning just from staying up late and really cold this morning. Ince I got warmed everything came together and really happy I got it in.

Windows were frozen in the garage this morning.

Didn't log it but I did work on Deadlifts form with 135 for about 20 reps. Still can't find the sweet spot.

So not sure what tomorrow will bring for training as this has been a dam good week.

Time to unwind for today and tomorrow. Wife is doing great and my parents and brothers family are comfortable with us coming over to their house so we are going to celebrate.

Afternoon AM, back on the dayjob after a great holiday break. 5 1/2 days off. That may be a record for me besides vacation.

We had so much fun. Things turned out just fine for my wife and none of us caught it or have symptoms. We ate, celebrated, rested, ate, partied, rested, ate, partied, rested.....catch my drift?

I haven't trained in four days and feel great Granted i stayed very active over the holidays.

I do feel the 4 days off from training was needed but now I'm itching for a workout.

Will start week 5 in the morning. Its going to be a challenge to get three
5 x 5 sessions in by the end of the week but ill figure out something.

Poor thing took the week off and hasn't felt good since Monday evening. Doc just gave her some antibiotics so hopefully she kicks is sooner than later.

She took Paxlovid and it seemed to work wonders for her. Mother in law is still not doing very well.

I hear ya! I had a damn coughed for 3 weeks, hacking up the yellow crap. so did the wife and now my daughter is about 2 weeks in and still coughing. everyone at work had it at sometime. what ever it was it was contagious as hell.

Yep sickness is going around! It's that time of year though when everyone meets up for the holidays and if one person is sick you best bet everyone else is going to get it as well.
