Got an uninterrupted night of sleep. On the day job now and just not feeling it. Got the GERD pressure on my chest and stomach is going crazy. Not sure how long I'm gonna make it unless something settles down here.

Had a bowl of cereal and 3 or 4 bites of boneless chicken breast last night, no seasoning.

I have a toasted whole wheat bagel for this morning. Gonna try that and see if it settles my stomach down a little.

Be nice to figure out what you had an allergic reaction to? that was a bad reaction. Don't want to go there again!
It could be anything. when I was a teenager this happen to me. (Not as bad) after a week we narrowed it down... found out my mom had bought some Irish spring soap on sale. It turn out that I was allergic to the green dye in it.

My sister broke out really bad when mom changed laundry detergent. I remember that one. she looked like 10,000 mosquitoes had bit her.

Man hate to hear all that. I wonder if the inflammation from the reaction is what caused the GERD to kick up. That crap sucks! I have contemplated having mine fixed on occasion but I have learned what causes my outbreaks over time and can keep the to a minimum now.

Update

Wednesday and Thursday were still quite rough. I have been getting a good 9.5 hours of sleep with the help of benadryl. Still waking up in the morning with itching on my wrists, feet, and other odd places. Prescribed allergy pill knocks it out and usually around 4
Pm it wears off and start itching again.

The GERD has calmed down alot, i have been very picky with what foods I have been eating.

Have an appointment with my primary Monday afternoon to try and figure what is really going on.

First available allergy dr appointment is Nov1. So I'm on the list for that but hoping by seeing my primary she can speed that up for me.

So, feeling way better cause I can breath and no more chest/throat pains. Still feel like i have crap in my throat and esophagus but its manageable.

Haven't had any supps or caffeine since Sunday and actually feeling dam good. Thought for sure I would be missing my caffeine. Have made it through my ten hour shifts and still cutting in the evenings through all this bs!!

If I feel like i do right now in the morning I might hit the gym for some bodyweight exercises and ground roll.

We do have a full schedule tomorrow.
Again thanks for everyone's concerns. BOSSMAN is gonna make it!!!

None at all and actually yesterday around 2pm when I usually have a BANG I thought to myself, dam I feel ready to rock. Wife asked me the same question, but yeah feeling no withdrawal at all from caffeine. Out in the job now, no workout this morning. No throat pain, minor itching, and very slight GERD. So doing well

Update
I believe things are going in the right direction. Friday had some boneless chicken, broccoli, and white rice.

Worked all day yesterday then went hunting in the evening. No luck just mosquito bites.
Had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans.

So appetite is coming back slowly, GERD is slowing down, and dont recall any itching yesterday.

Took a massive dump this morning, thats the one I've been waiting on!!!

In the garage this morning, gonna try to work up a good sweat.

Amazing how my energy and focus levels have been awesome the last few days with zero caffeine. No withdrawal at all.

Primary appt still set for Tuesday, not sure why I kept thinking it was tomorrow but qife corrected me on that.

So still taking it easy but feeling better.

Thank brother!!
Kind of crazy I was on awesome start to my fall regimen. Definitely feeling things are going in the right direction. One positive out of this mess is the response to not having caffeine. I'm actually really excited to see the way I've responded. Just a nice clean focus and energy all day into the night and great sleep. I have lost 3lbs since Sunday but you wouldn't even know it by looking in the mirror.

So enough about me. Let's hope the best for you too brother. 🙏 prayers sent your way too my man.

Appreciate it, man.
Got some recent bloodwork, a few levels are off, so I just have to adjust a few things to get them back in range and re-do labs in about 10 weeks. No biggie
The right shoulder has flared up on me, so pushing back on pressing and playing it smart.
My Macbook had a fatal error upon starting up, so add that into the mix.
October and 2020 can go to hell already haha

2nd that one! tried to stop about 15 years ago. excedrin wouldn't even get rid of it. I have cut back over the years to 3 cups AM and just one after lunch. usually followed with a pre. I was drinking 2 pots a day.

Update
Got in a nice 45 session today after work. Feeling better, itching is gone, and GERD is minimal but it isn't gone.

Appt tomorrow with my primary. Man I feel like I'm getting old. I have a detail list of times, symptoms, and meds taking since last Sunday to present to my doc tomorrow. I'm just trying to figure this crap out, I never want to go through what I went thru Monday night at 2am which sent me to the ER.

So appetite is back to 100%. No spicy or heavy seasoning at the moment.

Did some good eating the last few days!!

Crock potted myself 6 pounds pork after I got home from New Jersey today. Great minds think alike

keep your sources to low FODMAP to prevent GERD from flaring up Try zucchini, bell peppers and romaine salads For veggies and using a lot of cream of rice and jasmine rice I bet you will be blowing calories and having minimal issues

I know that is weird. I never had sleeping problems. I still have a pot in my office (I just don't make a full pot). I had to cut back because my eye lid would not stop twitching about 10 years ago. Went to the doc and he told me I was drinking too much caffeine. I thought he said stop and the headaches were massive. I called him and he told me to cut back, not stop unless I wanted to die!

Food looks great! except the Kale. More power to you brother. my wife has made this many different ways to get me to eat it. I just can't. I can eat it fresh but all the ranch I have to smother it with defeats the purpose.

Morning Fellas, had a nice 90 minute workout this morning. Back, multiple variations of push ups, and heavy bag.

Went to primary last night and things are looking good. I'm gonna live!!!

I kept a log of all my symptoms etc etc...

We have narrowed it down to an allergic reaction. To what??? We may never know. Cause of the allergic reaction, that's what caused the itching, the welts, the rash, and the closing of my esophagus and throat in which was causing the throat and chest pains. Next time he said go to ER immediately and dont try and tough it out for hours like i did. It could have gotten really bad.

So I'm on meds for a year, prescribed prilosec and allegra. If there are any more flare ups he will send me to a GI specialist. Still have appt with allergist first week in November.

I will continue to monitor what I eat as far as anything spicy or hot sauce for the rest of the month to let the throat and esophagus heal correctly then slowly start to introduce it back into my diet.

All bloodwork came back in range, no fever, bp perfect, everything good.

The wife and I have re played the whole day and previous days as to what I may have eaten different than usual before the flare up and nothing stands out. Could have been anything.

So looks like I can get back to my regimen I had going.

On a positive, im cutting out around 300mgs of caffeine for sure. Im gonna stick with a pwo on training days which is around 150-160, switch to de caf coffee if i feel the need for the taste and routine and then an energy drink as needed, not daily. I have felt really good in the evenings the last few days without any pwo, coffee, or energy drinks. Pretty awesome id say.

So again, thanks for all yalls support and concerns but its time to crank it back up.

Life isn't easy, we just have to play the hand we are dealt, make adjustments, stay positive, and move on. 🙏🙏💪💪💯💯

Mostly good news. really sucks that you cant figure out what caused the reaction. itching and rash sucks, closing of the esophagus is a whole other ball game. And yeah dude, go to the ER if that happens again.
We can be very stubborn as men but that was some good advise.

I did forget my meds this morning but will have my wife bring them by on her way to work this morning.

Wife and celebrated 💕 💖 our 14th wedding anniversary last night. D ont wanna sound cliche, but this girl saved my life. We grew up 9 houses away from one another. We were always friends throughout school but just hung with different crowds.

We were both invited to a wedding of mutual friends. The Thursday before the wedding we ran into each other at the bar. Her date and my date had both backed out on us. So we decided to go to the wedding as friends.

Well we have been together ever since that night. When we started dating I was still into many many bad things that I am not afraid to admit. Drugs, violence, money laundering, the whole deal. Hanging around around qith stone cold gangsters. She knew it, but didn't agree with my lifestyle as she was in law enforcement and already had a child at the time, an infant ( my oldest son that I eventually adopted). So it was either change or hit the highway. Well easier said then done, you can't walk away from that lifestyle overnight. So after many trails and tribulations, her leaving a few times, and a lot of lost friends later she stuck with me and I tighten my ass up. Couldn't let this one slip through my hands.

We talk about it all the time, the mkney I walked away from, the friends I lost or have passed since then, and the thing that impressed her the most was the way I went cold turkey off the drugs.

So here we are 14 years later, 3 kids and life is great. I am more attracted and love her more today than the day we started dating!!

I hear you on that one. My wife is like women get old and men get better looking as they age. It works for me that she doesn't realize how hot she is. Otherwise she would have never married me.

Biceps are smoked and kegs feel good. Building stamina back on hands on heavy bag. When you don't say consistent with a bag your hand will hurt at first, climbing out of that slowly.

Have big plans for the weekend. Hope to be able to work this evening after work 🤠🤠, that just doesn't sound right .

Fishing tomorrow morning in the bay.

Lomanchenko fight party at my house Saturday night.

Work Sunday

If you guys aren't familiar, this will be probably and hopefully one of the best fights. One on one, no fans, and 4 belts on the line for undisputed champ. Loma is my guy but Lopez is a hard hitting punk with success. I sensed fear in his eyes at the face to face interview. He is immature and needs to handle his professionalism better.

I thought Lopez controlled the whole fight. He did much better in the post fight interview. Loma looked like he had not been in the ring for awhile. I think a rematch would be very interesting. Loma is very tactical and would probably kick his arse in a rematch.

Whats happening people? Rainy Sunday here on the east coast today. I'm not complaining, couch day to watch some football. Titans/Steelers right now.
Got in two training sessions last week, appetite is completely back and feeling great again.

Yesterday was a blast, almost 80 degrees at the end of October so we took full advantage of the day from sun up to sun down. Spent 11 hours on the river
