I like smores and cookies n cream for quest bars. Haven't found any that beat those two flavors in terms of quest bars.

Everybody talks about loving the quest bar but I have just never really thought they were all that amazing compared to others I have had. Although admittedly I am more partial to the protein whey crisps in my bars though.

Last night, the army was out in the rain. 4 yards of wet azz mulch. Estimate 35-40 wheel barrel loads (80-100)lbs across wet ground between 15-30 yards in distance. Handled it like cake work!!!

it's getting a little late in the seasons for mulch ???

I enjoy the Quest brownie bar after setting it on a dollop of walnut oil on a paper plate and microwaving it for 30 seconds. I cut it up into 20 pieces and eat the pieces with a fork. The microwaving warms and softens it up for about two minutes and the walnut oil gives it a nutty flavor. Tastes like heaven after a bland dinner when I’m cutting.

Yea i agree that they are a little over hyped. There are definitely comparable or even better bars out there.

Sounds pretty good, needs walnut crumbles added and you have me sold! :D

Yeah definitely. I like the taste of the combat bars better than these for sure. For a quick post workout even the gatorade bars are better regarding flavor and they use Whey Isolate protein in them too. Sometimes Kroger runs a major special on them and I will pick them up for post workout. Not too often but for a convenient change up.

Kraken pump bombsicle
Started today with 2 scoops full dose
That gives 2g glycerol 300mg vaso6
MIX decent, lil clumpy but all glycerol products are. Nothing a good shake every time you take a sip and good to go.
TASTE wasn't the best but tolerabe, maybe tomorrow will try 1 scoop and see if that makes a difference.* Had a thick liquid feeling and didn't really taste like the bombsicle on the label
PUMP this is why I got it, I'm a pump junkie. Love vaso6 and glycerol.* Put them together and I'm sold. The pump is legit
I did have to slow down a few times during my workout from nausea.* Maybe just because it's something new, maybe the 2 scoops, or maybe it was just one of those days. Will be trying it again tomorrow.*

Been working hard at hitting macros, it's definitely playing mind games with me. Cut out cardio and eat more! I'm used to cut calories and HITT and cardio. I'm doing it though. Scale has gone up from 202 to 204 so that's tolerabe. The goal at the beginning of the month was to be at 205 by 10/1.

And lookie at what I found this morning hiding behind all my jugs of protein. Nice lil suprise this morning. Expiration date 1/18.

Looking good man! and my typical rule is I will toss after 6 months past expiration date but others will still use.

BOSSMAN,Looking Good and Lean Bro!!

Working on it big dog, thanks! I haven't went all the way back on your logs but you know I'm up to date on your newest one, in which you are an animal. I have seen some pics and read that you perhaps at one time struggled with physique and weight. Same for me, I was 300lbs of nothing but steak n cheese and alcohol back in 2015. What was your starting point when you decided to make a change? BEAST73

Wow! BOSSMAN,We both was eating and drinking alcohol like crazy at the same time 2015. My weight was 265 when I decided to change my lifestyle in 2016,and it was not easy. It took Me 11 months to hack into my genetics, and with the Help of AnabolicMinds Community, I was able to achieve that.

Most supplements will last longer than the expiration date. Same as medicines do. It is just figuring out the appropriate dose if it has congealed, or hardened up on you.

Quit doing any cardio, you do plenty of steps on a day to day basis. Totally a waste of time.

Bob, my man, that is precisely what I told him. Got him to increase cals too and he looks better for it in my opinion.

Bob, my man, that is precisely what I told him. Got him to increase cals too and he looks better for it in my opinion.

I have only told him that about 12 times now. It goes in one ear and out the other.
Let alone his volume is overkill, he could make 5x better progress if he focus on Quality > Quantity
My 2 cents.

Most people who come from a former larger background have the mentality of more = better (more cardio, less calories, more volume) its the exact opposite. It is just they have that shackle around their head of broscience and are afraid to do the right things.

Rest, calories, and food gives you growth. not spending hours doing 30 sets of abs and arms in a given day. Way too much and not necessary at all.

Had the night off last night due to rain, slept in this morning so no training this morning. This is day five with new regimen as far as less cardio and higher macros. You guys have to understand this with me. This twist is new to me as yes I have lived off bro science for the last 3.5 years. It's a head game at this point, I'm working into this. This week I've went from doing about 5 hours of cardio a week down to about 25 mins a week, obviously I'm still getting tons of cardio bye doing my lawncare. That said, the effort to change shows in the numbers. Then the macros, I've gone from around 1200 to 1500 cals a day to 2k- 2400 a day. So the progress is there also. I'm determined and focused on getting this righthand doing this right. The reasoning behind the treadmill in the morning for minutes is I get up at 3am, I'm a bit foggy. That 5 minutes is at a 2.5 mph pace. That 5 mins is honestly just so I can get my sh1t together. I would have never thought cutting out and cardio and eating more would be such a challenge, but it has been. It's hard to break a 3 year routine but my numbers definitely show that I'm working at it. For you guys that follow me here on the forum know 100% that I appreciate all of the tough love and suggestions. It's obvious you guys have a excellent grip on this stuff far beyond my knowledge, and again I thank you guys for the feedback. I'm going to take today to rest and kickback and think of some new workouts and exercises to get away from the cardio. Any help with that will be aprreciated also. It's hard to break old habits and routines bt I'm all in to get this right. I'm off to a decent start this season as the fall and winter is my time to dial in 100%. I'm going to meet my first seasonal goal of
205 by 10/1. Again thanks to all of you for your insights, tough love, and suggestions. Keep it coming fellas. I'm in this for the long haul.Big thanks to MrKleen73 The Solution. You guys have been in the game for years and it shows. My goal is to someday build a physique like you guys have manage to build and maintain in your lives, also to gain knowledge from not nly you guys but everyone that follows and supports my log. Then maybe one day I can pass it along to others as you all are doing for me.

Doing 5 hours of cardio and eating less then a baby fetus just doesn't sound optimal.
I mean take a step back and READ your own writing.
If you can't recognize the red flags then you really need to open up and see the big picture.

Low intake, hours of cardio, feeling like crap, stressed out etc..
Something has got to give and if you dont; listen to your own body and neglect it then you really need to check yourself into a doctor and get some bloodwork done.

I can almost guarentee you there are thyroid issues from the low calories and massive amount of cardio and the broscience you lived by.
I would 100% get a full blood panel done. I bet there is a lot of issues that need worked out

Loooks like you have been steered in the right direction, now take the wheel and head towards your goals!

In my above post I stated that I "went from doing 5 hours of cardio a week" down to only 25 mins this week. Isn't that a change? And also stated in above post that "went from 1300 cals to 2300" this week. That shows that I am making changes, maybe you read it wrong. By any means I didn't state that, that's what I'm still doing. You made these suggestions to me last week and it took a few days for me to make the adjustments, and as of this Monday I have. So I have recognized the red flags and have made adjustments. It's obvious I'm not neglecting my body by intention, that was due to lack of knowledge. You brought that to my attention and again I've changed. Since the suggestions that have been made to me, if you look at this week's numbers they have changed also, maybe not to 100% success but it's going in the right direction. So stay with me here and YES please point out the wrong doing that I'm doing. But at the same time in return, see the changes that I've made. Let's not keep going back to last week or previous as I now understand what I was doing was wrong and unhealthy. Let's go forward. You know that I support you and your hussle, and I again thank you for your support and knowledge.

Agreed! Some good info posted above from thesolution. Now you can take it and run:)

You need to get bloodwork done ASAP
that is what i am telling you.
I can guarentee you there are some major flaws that you cannot recognize.

Long bouts of dieting harm your t3 leptin and hormone levels. I would get your thyroid , testosterone , and a full lipids panel. I can guarantee you a lot of these will be vastly off especially what you have been doing pounding your body into the ground

You took my last response completely in the wrong way . I am trying to make
You learn by looking at it from our shoes.

Find a trainee walking 10,000 steps on top of doing hours of cardio and a stupid amount of volume with subpar intensity

Let me ask you does it seem optimal?
Is it something you would tell others to do? Does it seem smart for someone dieting to slave them self to a treadmill and eat like
A bird?

The first step to
Understanding your body is knowing what to do and how to diagnose flaws. If you don’t you will continually repeat behaviors and methods that are counter productive. Hence take a step back and look at the big picture. The picture you are not seeing (underlying blood work) which could be impacted but you don’t have a clue about it that’s why it’s important to get it done ASAP
