Sorry I didn't get back to the update yesterday! Here is a rundown of my day after I lifted.
-Went to costco and bought a ton of food....only to realize I forgot to get several gallons of milk :mad:
-Realized I never got around to my Chem Lab Write Up! Ha so I ended up doing that yesterday and today.
-Realized I had a Kin exam today oops! :o
-Got caught reading some of my comics when I shoulda been studying :confused: *I am a slight comic book nerd and have several that I have been meaning to read...and finally got around to it!*
-Had to schedule some of my classes. Official scheduling doesn't start til about 1.5 weeks from now, but I have to do all this extra to get into a Bio class. Also, I had no real option for my classes and don't really get to pick my schedule as there was only one default way to be able to get all the classes I need next semester(I am lucky they didn't conflict even more than they already did..)

O yaaa I lifted yesterday as well :D

April 1 Chest and Biceps
-I will state this was an AWESOME workout. Best pump I have had in awhile, and that is saying a lot with the way my workouts have been going. I am playing around a little with the FST-7 trying to optimize it even more.
-DB Press 3 sets 8-12..hit the 80s on this and could have gone up, but I don't trust my joints. Def a plus hitting this weight.
-BB Curl 3 sets 8-12
-DB Incline Flies 3 Sets 8-12
-Incline Curl 3 sets 8-12
-Hammer Press 3 sets 8-12
-Machine Preacher FST-7
-CCO FST-7, more weight this week and I really can feel these. Cranked em out and was fried at the end.

PS I have some Glycobol, Blueprint, and Trinitine in my cart at nutra and I am about to purchase. I plan on running the blueprint through May. I am taking this month off creatine(got two more doses of Presurge left :() then I will be using Trinitine and I am picking up a couple bottles of Ultima as soon as I can grab a shirt from Omega as well. So I plan on running Ultima, extra trinitine, XF ICE during lifts, XF Cytofuse PWO, finish up BP, try some Glycobol, and maybe use Omega ONE as well...whew that sounds like too much :sad: I may have to shorten that list..anyone got any suggestions?​

O my....yesterday was extremely busy and crazy. I didn't realize how big of a weekend it was for parties as it seems like half the world has traveled here and trying to drive anywhere was near impossible. I also have like 5 friends who crashed here last night...pause

Ha but it was fun and I didn't go out late, but it was good seeing some ppl I hadn't seen in forever...today looks like its gonna be another longgggggg day so I am about to hit the gym now when I still have time.

April 3 Legs
-I always do legs after lab on friday and once again the squat racks were taken up :sad:
-Leg extension 3 sets 12-15
-Leg Curl 3 sets 6-10
-Leg press 3 sets 12-15, I did two more 45s than I did last week, still need more weight tho which is why I hate leg press you have to load so much on.
-DB SLDL 3 sets 8-12
-Seated Calf FST-7
-Seated leg curl FST-7, got a better pump this week than last week
-1-Legged Leg Extensions FST-7, I did 12 reps on one ten second rest do the second leg, ten second rest do the first leg again etc. I was hurt at the end of this.
-My legs were so tore up and my lifting partner who gives me a ride home was out of town and I had too little energy to walk home so I chilled in the dorms with some people as I regained strength to walk home :lol:

Ya I can usually work in with someone or wait as most people do seem to share them(its always the same ppl using them), idk sometimes I just don't feel like waiting though..

April 4 Shoulder and Triceps

-No lifting partner for the day, and I was tired(rough time sleeping) but I got in the gym early and pretty much no one was there so it went quick.
-Close Grip BP 3 sets 8-12
-DB Shoulder Press 3 sets 8-12
-Skull Crushers 3 sets 8-12
-Lateral Raises 3 sets 8-12, these felt really good this week
-Dips 3 sets 12 reps, shoulder felt awesome so I did some slow BW dips...I was surprised bc when I tried last week the shoulder felt extra tight and was having no part in doing dips :confused:
-Cable Lateral Raise FST-7
-Rope Triceps Press Down FST-7
-Pretty good workout, nothing spectacular but I was low on sleep.

Weekend notes:
-Crazy weekend, at times this weekend I felt like the only sober person in the city all weekend...but I had a good time with a lot of my brethren.
-Sleep wasn't the best because everyone was partying all day and night so it was hard to even get any naps in...o well I caught one today and will catch up this week on some sleep.
-Saturday was a pretty big cheat day. Had steak, potato, corn, and salad in huge amounts post workout, then someone wanted pizza later in the day and I was feeling too lazy to cook :o
-Also, just tossed in an order at nutra grabbing some Trinitine, Blueprint, and various RPN goodies :thumbsup: gonna grab a separate order of Glycobol(because I didn't want it to delay my first order) tomorrow or something and try that out. Also waiting on Omega shirts on their site before I grab Ultima+ONE​

Haha exactly man. Its not a big deal the first one is something I do once a week or so and I don't count it as a cheat. I load up on good food and it usually has more condiments and everything than usual but I don't count it really. The pizza is what got me tho :p

Its fine tho I was freaking pumped in the gym today...my glycogen stores must have been crazy full cuz I weighed ~180 this morning. Back down to ~177 post workout tho(for w/e thats worth)

Snag's right. You can't police yourself out of enjoying life sometimes. The great thing about eating for a healthy lifestlye is to do all of the time, don't diet, and reward yourself with tasty junk items every once and a while.

:eek: I probably shouldn't have said cheat yall are getting the wrong idea! haha its all good though trust me I enjoy plenty of good food(usually more so when I am home from school my dad is an amazing cook).

Ok finally time to put up what I did today...once again I got side tracked studying. blah

April 6 Back, Rear Delts, Traps
-Calves still sore from friday so I omitted them from the lift today.
-BW Pull-ups 3 sets 12
-DB Shrugs 3 sets 8-12
-1-arm Rows 3 sets 8-12
-Lat Pull Down 3 sets 8-12
-Smith Shrugs 5 sets 12 reps with little rest in between
-1-arm Hammer Row 3 sets 8-12
-Rear Delt Flies 4 sets 8-12
-Seated Row FST-7
-I had a better back pump today, shoulder felt good again so Rear delts got hit hard, and strength was great. Like I noted above the extra calories this weekend led to some super saturated glycogen levels that led to a high weight, high vascularity, and large pump in the weight room today. Great workout that I am already starting to feel..​
 
Well, a quick few notes about what is about to go down. I will be heading home to be with friends and family for Easter so today will probably be the last day I train until Monday. While I really could squeeze in a workout on Friday if I work my schedule around, it just feels right to take a total break for these next four days :thumbsup:

April 8 Chest, Tris, Bis, Shoulders
-Ha as you can see above this wasn't my normal lift. I was feeling rather energetic today and since I wasn't gonna be able to hit triceps and shoulders on Sat. I decided to throw them in today's lift. I also have been playing around with doing a DC like protocol upon return from Easter....soooo I decided to do a slight test today :)
-I ended up doing 1 rest pause set(2 rests on each lift..) for DB Bench, Close Grip Smith Bench, Hammer Strength Shoulder Press, and Incline DB Curl. I went about 85-90% on these mostly because it appears I underestimated my strength when only doing one all out set :o
-Then did FST-4 for tris, bis, shoulders, and chest followed by Extreme Stretching. I will play around with this to see if its feasible to mix these two programs, but I may just stay with one or the other, I got four days to decide
-Finally, something about the RP sets had my muscles in love with the training today, I felt inspired and got a huge pump despite low volume. It just felt right to do this which may be a sign my body is primed for growth on this...I will play it by ear when I hit the weights again :cool:
-O ya and I am already sore once again before even going to bed :D

Weight was at 178lbs today. So I am close to my 180lbs goal before trying to cut some fat off.

Another note I ran out of Presurge today :sad: I will write a review soon, but for cliffs it has given me insane vascularity, pumps, and probably the best creatine product I have used :thumbs up:

While that was sad.....this made me happy!(ps I also just put in an order for some Ultima and two T's soooo I can't wait!)

Man, that makes me want to get some Blue Print, too! I have a bottle of it somewhere... I need to find it. :food:

You need to find it and send it to me :p

I plan on running that starting next week...and if it goes well I will purchase a third bottle to extend it to a 60 day cycle. :thumbsup:

Part 1 Updates and Training

Nice work Bolt. Enjoy your time at home with the fam bud.

Thanks man! As you can see I did not get on AM much at all this lil break I had...but it was a pretty good weekend. I will recap that and my workout today in this post then talk about some supplement goodness on the next post :)

Weekend Break:
-I took a total break form lifting for 4 days and loosened the diet. I only got in about 4 meals per day but they were larger and not all as clean(for the most part they were). I had a lot of homemade burritos, tacos, several types of great chinese dishes, roast beef, potatoes, various breads, and a homemade red velvet cake with homemade vanilla frosting w/pecans and coconut within it....my dad made the cake for me and it was amazing :D
-I did not get as much rest on the weekend as I was hoping. Saturday I worked from 8-6 an hour away from home in the rain...but I made some good bank :happysad:
-I am a regular church goer and bible reader but it was still refreshing having an Easter Service and then spending time with family and friends..
-Overall great weekend and now I am back to school with 1 month to go :cool:

Training Notes:
-With one month of school left I have to allocate a lot of time to studying and various efforts to prepare for upcoming classes(I scheduled all my classes today but need an override to get into one :rant: )
-Its kinda hard to explain totally what my training is like so it may just be easier if you take note of my days as I do them(kind of going by ear) but I will only be lifting Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday with some HIIT cardio on Friday.
-Will still be using FST-7, but not on everything, and most of my lifts will be one set of rest-pause or a cluster set for each body part.
-I am testing some of this stuff out and I figure worst comes to worst I overtrain and have to take exam week off...not too bad but I don't see it really going down that way...

April 13 Chest, Back Width, Triceps, Shoulders
-Rack Chins+70lbs 1 Rest Pause set(two rests, 8 reps, 4reps, 2reps)
-DB Bench 1 Rest Pause set, 8,5,2
-Dumbbell Lateral Raise 2 sets 8-12, my shoulders seem to be responding more to raises controlled than if I were to do some heavy rest pause sets with DB press for example...so I will stick with what is working for now
-Smith CGBP 1 straight set of 8
-FST-5 Triceps Rope Push down, decided to stop at 5 to assess recovery for the week, and my triceps were pumped intensely. Strong contraction and pump and burn...felt great
-FST-5 Cable Cross Over
-Hit extreme stretches on each body part following the lift and then hit a 5 minute run on the indoor track(I need some better cardiovascular shape)
-I can go up on weight next week on most of these but today was a good gauge of where I am at. Also, the FST sets for now are lighter than usual with more emphasis on leaving 2-3 reps in the tank to avoid failure...​

Weight was at 178 today so I am holding pretty steady at this, calories may increase from ~3800 again if I am still stuck.
Also, I am already sore from todays lift and it feels good :o and I may post some pics again but idk

Part 2 Some Supplement notes

Well I do not typically write too much about supplements in this journal but what the heck :D

So as noted I am out of Presurge and started Blueprint today. Took 4 caps as soon as I woke about 15min before I ate. I hate the idea of me falling for placebo but the pump in the gym today was incredible. If you look above I wasn't even doing high volume. It could be a combo of coming off a break, high glycogen stores, and my normal combo of high carb pre-workout meal, Intrabolic+carbs during workout, but only time will tell. Also, I felt like I may need to up carbs as I don't know if it was the R-ala or the agmatine or both but I still felt my body could use some more.

Also, as noted on the workouts above I am watching recovery closely as I have dropped Creatine(in presurge) so I will have to watch if that effects anything or if Blueprint increases recovery. :)

I am also trying to cycle off stims in preparation for Ultima next month(and I want to stop using stims for awhile..) so today I took 2 RPM pre workout. Gave me a lil boost that was nice. I plan to try and get off the stims all together soon but I am gonna play around with some RPM, Zap, and Omega Jolt I have around either pre-workout or in mornings that I may be dragging...

On another note I got a package over the weekend and this package alongside my trinitine bottle are gonna make me struggle to take a break off creatine this month(also note only one of my two shirts is pictured below)

I see you received some flavoring with your order as well. I mixed mine with some bulk BCAA's and it was really good. I must warn you, though, it's pretty potent and should be just lightly to access tasting preferences. The t-shirt is cool as hell, though!

Ya I will have to see how the flavoring works out and play around with it later. I remember getting flavoring for the unflavored Swell awhile back and I never even ended up using it :o

On another note I had the most intense and weird dreams I have had in a long time(and I have weird dreams quite a bit). I slept like a rock tho.

Well I was bound to have a bad day sooner or later..I have been riding a pretty nice wave of overall good days lately. Today though was not the best, started out with no warm water for a shower(wat the heck who was up before me this morning :confused: ), it was raining and i had to park quite a distance from class, then when I took my Chem Test I felt like beating myself upside the head with a brick(because that would have been just as effective as w/e studying I had been doing the past month..). Workout went good tho :happysad:

April 15 Legs, Calves, Biceps, Abs
-Same idea as last workout, hit it hard, heavy weight, fast and get out of there.
-Hack Squat RP..nice and slow on the eccentric, bumping up weight next week
-Leg Curl RP
-Seated Calf Raise 4 sets 8 reps
-Incline Curls RP
-FST-5 Cable Curls
-Leg Xtensions 1 set 50 reps..felt like doing this for some odd reason, got a great pump and then stretched.
-Stretched everything and went for a short job and then did some core work.
-Not the strongest day, but when I get up for Chem tests at 6, then actually take them I am slightly mentally drained. Still had a good lift tho.
-Popped 2 Omega Power Jolt today(80mg caffeine) and will try to keep my caffeine intake limited to 100mg pre workout, if any, from now on.

Side note on Blueprint:
-I am sleeping like a rock on this. Dreams are absurd and weird, but funny at the same time. I don't really remember most of them but just know I was having them. Napping during the day is also knocking me out, but I am waking up very well rested.

Overall Feelings Over Past Month Gains:
Well looking back its been nearly a month since I started this log. While to some people the progress in the numbers may not seem outstanding I have added a solid 1-2lbs and look relatively same BF% and leaner at the calves, shoulders, and chest. Even if its only a pound of muscle I'll take that..it would equate to 12lbs a year and no body fat added. To me that is pretty legit given as I would feel I am past the median of my gains and have to fight pretty hard to improve. Also note, even though I have only gained a pound my shoulders look slightly rounder, chest looks fuller, and my biceps have grown at least .25 inches. The FST-7 seemed like a pretty big success..so this new change with it will be interesting :cool:

Overall Mood:
Lately things have been coasting along. Honestly life is rather dull and boring at the moment. Not much going on in school(chem is killing me but everything else is chill) and I really just want this month to be over. I think I am going through some major football withdrawals...I need College Football now!

PS-A couple leg pics just so Snag doesn't think I was really bluffing last month..lighting was rough in the room again today(cloudy outside) so I turned the light on but it kinda flushes stuff out and sorry for the paleness :o

April 17 HIIT Cardio :eek:
-Decided it was time to man up and get the cardio blazing full time with their own sessions...I got to get prepared because one of my best friends who is off playing soccer at college is bringing back their program to do some running this summer! We did a smaller schools program last year and this is gonna kill me if I am not in better shape when it comes around...
-With that said its not like I am in bad shape what so ever. I did 17 minutes of cardio today with about 15 20 second sprints with 40 seconds in between each. Warmed up for a minute and cooled down for a minute for a total of 17 :)
-Could probably hit a little harder and more but my stomach wasn't feeling too great and I had a whole in my sock that led to a blister forming on my foot :(
Side notes:
-Legs were trashed Thursday. Pretty amazing how one real high intensity set can crush the muscle like that. But I was pretty well recovered and prepared for cardio so my recovery time still seems to be doing well.
-Feeling a little down about the whole weight issue. Even though I am happy to be gaining slow and steady its still hard :happysad:
-Didn't sleep great last night(took a nap at like 5..which was a bad idea..) but I still had some weird dreams and woke up refreshed.

Well, last night I got a much better nights sleep and woke up easily this morning before my alarm. Was pumped to hit the gym today!

April 18 Chest, Back, Triceps, Shoulders, Abs
-Woke up real excited to hit today! I was gonna do Deadlifts but my workout partner doesn't really do them..therefore decided we would work on these over summer..(I probably will do them next time and let him stick with barbell rows as I didn't really enjoy these today)
-Barbell Row 1 set RP
-Incline DB Press 1 set RP, this set was perfect, fought hard for these and got the most out of myself possible :cool:
-Decline CGBP- 1 straight set of 7
-Leaning Lateral raise- 1 set 8 reps, then drop 10lbs and did 10 more reps with a hold at top..felt great
-Seated Shoulder Press Machine FST-7 kept these real light and got a good pump, not very taxing tho
-Lat Pulls FST-5
-Also did extreme stretching on all used muscles today...really felt good
-Cooled down with some light jogging and some core work.
Other Notes:
-I weighed in at 179lbs today so that is up again. Kind of interesting weight is going up even after dropping Creatine, and I do look less bloated, but I wasn't really bloated in a bad way just seeing some slightly more defined cuts.
-Pumps from BP are pretty tight. Interesting pumps kind of like the ones I was getting on Presurge but slightly different(probably due to different lifting style). Also, great sleep and recovery on this.
 
Well didn't really update this yesterday and idk why I didn't get around to it but o well...

April 20 Legs, Bis, Calves
-Squats 1 set RP
-SLDL 1 set RP
-Standing Calf 3 sets 12 reps
-Hammer Strength Preacher Curl 1 set RP
-Hamstring Curls FST-5

Wow....that session was brutal on my legs. Hitting heavy squats like that was intense but fun. Today(day after) my legs are extremely sore.

Weight was also still right around and slightly above 180. So from now on I will stay at the same caloric level and recomp if I can't gain weight(With school almost over I need to conserve my money until I get back to working)

Blueprint continues to give me great sleep. I pass out hard during naps, and probably need to set an alarm because I almost wanna just stay sleeping. I feel refreshed whenever I wake up but I often just wanna stay in bed.

Well my legs are still sore from monday. I love the feeling I get from demolishing squats, even though it was a pain to walk home from class in the rain, I was more waddling home :worried:

April 22 Chest, Back, Tris, Shoulders
-Rack Chins 1 set RP- Did 75lbs+bodyweight this week. Hit it hard and felt great.
-DB Bench 1 set RP- Good leap in strength. Hit 90lbs each arm. Was slightly pissed because I couldn't squeeze out one more rep to hit 15 total but I had almost done 85lbs. I did two reps then thought I needed more. Was a great idea and thats a good leap in strength :cool:
-Smith Machine CGBP 1 set RP
-Lateral Raises 2 sets 8 reps
-Cable bent over raise 1 set 12 reps
-Seated Row 1 set 50 reps-Trying some active recovery..hit this then a lat stretch.
-Triceps Rope FST-7- Arm bursting pump on this, then hit an extreme tri stretch.
-CCO FST-7- Pumped the chest up big time then hit an extreme chest stretch.
-Went for a short run to try and get the legs feeling better.​

Was a great workout today. I hit some very nice weights and got a great pump and stretch to finish things out. I did smash my ipod with a weight by accident(it fell out of my pocket as I set the 75lbs down from Rack Chins) which totally blew. It was an old ipod that already had water damage(someone gave it to me cuz it was already messed up so its not like I paid for it) and works but the screen is extra demolished now :sad:

Some quick notes on blueprint:
-One thing I want to note is this pain alleviation with BP. It is listed as one of the effects and I fully feel its doing the job. In the fact that my shoulder feels 100% even on squats, rack chins, bench, shoulder press, etc. I tend to get an uneasy feeling on heavy lifting with these...not the case at all right now. Also seems to allow me to push through what would be pain to get better sets. As well as a pump that is intense. This is what I think GPLC pump would really be like if I was to take away the Icarrin and GMS in Presurge(just stipulating tho)

Also in case anyone cares its my birthday today, but I never real plan on doing anything special so its w/e.

PS quick pic-I feel like I am drying out and losing some water weight from my gorge over the weekend...everything feeling solid :cool:

Thanks guys. Ha the birthday wasn't spent really doing much(sucks it was on a wednesday I had school work) but I plan on doing some stuff for the draft tomorrow(thats always been a big occasion that I usually do stuff for my bday on)

April 24 Traps Rear Delts and Running
-So I went to the gym today to do some HIIT running, got there and was feeling motivated to hit some Traps and Rear delt. So I randomly did a couple sets of Shrugs and Rear Delt Flies. Felt good then proceeded upstairs to run.
-Hit 11 minutes of intervals(20 second sprints 40 second active recovery). Wanted to do more but my foot was feeling odd, come to realize I forgot about my blister from last week and it got worse today :o
-O well still got some good running in and felt less fatigued than last week.​

It is a really nice day here today and everyone is out being festive. I was on campus for quite some time today and more than usual after I lifted. On a side note clothes are starting to get tight and my shorts and jeans don't fit(I need a new belt they are too loose even when fully tightened). I take that as a good sign but I don't wanna buy new clothes :worried:

I am a huge Raiders fan..but we have done pretty bad for quite some time lately and I usually don't agree with our draft picks :sad:

Its all good though I enjoy watching football a lot more for everything than just my team in general

i was in the same boat for a while when we had charlie casserly as our gm.
we've been a lot better without him, hopefully this will be the year we finally break .500

the raiders will be good soon...al davis doesn't have that much more life left in him...

Ya nice nice, I was hoping you didn't say you were a Dallas fan haha

Andre Johnson is legit, I really enjoyed watching him tear up the Titans last year. Too bad he got shut down by the Raiders ;) haha but ya hopefully Al steps down or lets someone else take more control, watching the draft with his decisions is rough :dunno:

i don't understand what it is, but when we play the raiders we fall apart...
