BMI, Carbon Footprint, and an assault on Bodybuilding

Now we're getting to an agreement point, somewhat. :)

Middle ground. Maybe I am just too young and too over passionate about hating this system. I know communism doesnt work when applied to man. Democracy has worked, and capitalism did for a long time.

We just need a reset.

New people in control, If we shrink the federal government, then they wont need so much tax. The sole purpose of the fed was to support and hold together the states, and deal with war, or things o na national level. Not to develop the CIA, FBI, FDA, NSA, SSC, ETC,ETC,ETC and spend 600,00 bucks protecting a turd in the middle of the forest...

But above all, without a reset, I just dont see people who are being forced into massive debt being able to dig out of it, especially with no jobs, and employers abusing the hell out of them.

Imagine how much debt a family of 4 is where both parents lost their jobs due to downsizing. They get foreclosed on, move in with family, have to default on some things, and borrow just to keep food in their children s stomachs.

Just makes me angry. rawr....:worried:

If you want to begin the descent, then you need to start cutting at the heads of the hydra.... beginning with the federal reserve. A unconstitutional private bank that drives our economy into the ground, same with the depression. Read up about the Federal Reserve from Ron Paul... your hate for capitalism will be redistributed to the one entity that has and will continue to cause the problems we face yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Again, incorrect.

If you ASK me to borrow what I already worked for - why should i? How do I know you will even pay me back? Why should I go without use of MY money (perhaps to take my wife out for our anniversary)?

Ok, I will lend you some money and you pay me back at a rate we BOTH freely agree on.

How am I ripping you off?

The banking industry is the root of our economic problems and it starts with the Federal Reserve Bank. They have our corrupt Federal Government in their hands.

The banks aren't lending out money that THEY already worked for. They are lending our money that WE already worked for and deposit into their system.

The Federal Reserve Bank just prints their own money and who knows what the hell is going on over there.

Unfortunately it is the Federal Reserve that inherently gives the banking industry the black eye. The banking industry only responded to the flowing of the money and regulation started from the Federal Reserve, then the CRA given new legs put us on the fast track to the black hole we are in. This isn't because the banking industry is evil, it is because forced sub prime lending, and exaggeration of money from the Federal Reserve made it that way. Demonizing the banking industry is a campaigning tactic.

Still shooting a few bank CEOs would make me feel better :D

And that is what certain individuals want you to feel, because then it alleviates some politician regard, and the real problem. AIG failed because the banking industry had to recall tons of insurance policies, which happened because of sub prime lending enforced by our government. Government is the cause of all our problems, but instead puts it on us, stating we are the problem... we are not the problem, but instead the solution. Give states back their federalism, and get the government closer to the people and you will see real "Change" and "Hope", not any of this pipe dreams and lip service to the rest of the world.

So then would they fact that I think 8 states have claimed sovereignty, and they are expecting 20 to this year, mean that the states have finally had enough and want to divert power back form the federal to state level? Its pretty much the first ballsy thing I have seen the states do in awhile.

You wil get NO defense out of me for The Fed - but you will not get a sweeping condemnation of anyone that lends money for interest as a parasite-thief either.

If we only had a sweeping condom nation to control the population, we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place?

*crickets*

No? No? Nobody? Alright.

hahahah. Sure, saved my the sims.

About the 20 bucks

Like I said

a group of five guys, has 20 bucks between them. Cut off the world, just 20 bucks. A guy who has 10 of it lends it to another of the group at 10% interest a week. 11 weeks pass before he
pays it back. He now owes him the original 10 bucks, plus 11 dollars in interest. They only have twenty bucks between them. The economy is now bust :dunno: He owes the guy 21 dollars in an economy of 20.

Wow strong APR

In all seriousness, you can blame the current problems on our system, but it'd be wrong to say capitalism itself is the problem. Hard to have a semi free market and expect to manipulate it without it fighting back.
