Unanswered Blood Results Post PCT Help

Yes, he said he tapers from 150mg until the 4th week where he starts 25mg, that’s a lot of Clomid, and I guess he can do what ever he wants, I think it’s a waste. I see no reason to go over 50mg and 25mg is completely fine.

Btw I restarted myself after 3.5 years of TRT so I speak from experience.

I’m just playing devils advocate. I run 100mg for 3 days. THen go to 50 for two weeks, before dropping to 25 for two weeks, then 25 eod. He didn’t really elaborate on how quickly he tapers and you could be right but you’re also operating on an assumption that he does a gradual, extended taper from 150 to 50.

Do you feel like 50mg provides you with anything that 25mg doesnt?

Idk how much of a Dr you are, I seen other posts you made and you made a lot of sense but 150mg ed of Clomid makes no sense. No wonder ppl get sides from Clomid if they use that high amount.

I already tried to explain, that's sometimes what it takes after extended cycles. They have to be treated differently. But yes, 150mg even for a few days can be harsh, mostly on the mind. Emotional lability is not uncommon at those doses and you might find yourself upset at things you normally wouldn't think twice about.

My wife used to watch a reality show called World's Biggest Loser (or something to that effect) about overweight women who would compete to lose the most weight. I used to make fun of her every time I walked through the living room and saw her watching that stupid show! But once on PCT i found myself strangely compelled to sit down and watch it with her. And yes, I almost started to cry when the winner was announced, lol. I so thank God that I'm not a woman.

It can also promote annoying Diplopia with prolonged higher dosing, but the higher the dose one can tolerate the better it tends to work, so that's the price to be payed and it's basically proportional to the degree of imbalance you created.

Subjectively though, it's still less toxic than Tamoxifen IMO, and that's at just about any dose.

So what protocol of Clomid would you recommend given your experience? recovering from a long extended and somewhat suppressive cycle

Thanks

I would recommend something similar to what @Mathb33 said, just extend it to 8 weeks, after that you can do 25mg eod for another month or so.

Prob fine. Those arent really harsh compounds. I always use nolva and clomid together in pct personally. I think youl prob recover fine, just make aure to get bloodwork to know for sure.

Can you elaborate on how you utilise them both? And do you find it better than one solely?

Thanks

You just take them both in pct from day one. They act on the hpta a little differently from each other so its a multipronged approach. Also, using both you can dose a bit lower which means less sides. So typically people do 20/20/10/10 on the nolva and 25mg/d straight through on climid when using both.
