Atractylodes Macrocephala-
Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz (A. macrocephala), a Chinese medicinal herb, has been extensively used to treat digestive diseases in China and most other Asian countries (PPRC, 2005; Lee et al, 2007). Dry rhizomes of A. macrocephala are rich in sesquiterpenes and acetylenic compounds (Endo et al, 1979; Chen 1987; Huang et al, 1992; Lin et al, 1997). Typical polysaccharides atractan A, B, and C, present in A. macrocephala, have been reported to exhibit hypoglycaemic activities (Wang et al, 2000; Jia et al, 2003). Although atractylenolide I, atractylenolide II and atractylenolide III are all bioactive substances present in Atractylodes macrocephalae, the majority of research studies carried out in the recent years have focused on atractylenolide II and atractylenolide III (Kang et al., 2011b). Atractylenolide II is a marker substance present in Atractylodes macrocephalae which exhibits well-documented gastrointestinal inhibitory effects and anticancer activity (Zhang et al., 1999; Liu et al., 2005). Atractylenolide II is one of the main constituents present in the effective volatile oil fraction (Li et al., 2001), potentially effective in treating senile dementia. Atractylenolide III is a possible candidate for the treatment of human lung carcinoma (Kang et al., 2011a).
Aromatase inhibition
Primary targets for aromatase inhibition are atractylenolide 1 2 and 3 with atractylenolide 1 being exceptionally strong with 94.5% inhibition.
Abstract:Ten compounds were isolated from the dichloromethane extract of Atractylodes
macrocephala and their aromatase inhibiting activities were tested using an in vitro
fluorescent-based aromatase assay. The results indicated that atractylenolide I (1),
atractylenolide II (2) and atractylenolide III (3) had inhibition ratios of 94.56 ± 0.70%,
90.93 ± 1.41% and 86.31 ± 8.46%, respectively, at a concentration of 10 μM. We conclude
from our results that atractylenolide and its derivates may serve as potential aromatase
inhibitors (AIs) and thus merit continued study in the future.

Atractylenolides are exceptionally strong aromatase inhibitors that show exceptional oral bioavailability. There are many AIs in nature. During my research I must have found over 100 potentials but unfortunately 99.9999% of them are poorly absorbed orally which limits their potential.
Atractylenolide in contrast is very well absorbed.

ANABOLIC-
It was a huge loss when Formeron got canned because well....Ais are great but formestane was also anabolic.
Letrone is a stout AI but it also shows significant anabolic potential by increasing endogenous hormones.
In one animal study growth was increased by 20% compared to control when animals were fed polysaccharides of atractylodes macrocephala.
The increase in growth was attributed to increases in-

IGF-1 x52%
T3 x47%
T4 x36%
cAMP x21%

Finally, Atractylodes macrocephala potentiates Ghrelin secretion and receptor signaling. Ghrelin increases hunger and Growth hormone secretion.

^^^exactly. I wouldn't do it for most products and companies but I have complete trust in BLR and Brundel. That's why I wanted to be a rep and product tester so bad. It is a company that makes products for people like us to succeed in our fitness goals rather than just turn a profit.

I find it strange you "fail" to remember the reps name... Care to elaborate on the exact conversations or what thread it was suggested in? Care to share the PM if it was by that avenue.
We at OL are very cautious to suggest anything else other than a RC when on cycle/post cycle even though we endorse Ar1m1care pro as on cycle protection with the salt based TUDCA and Sup3r PCT along side a SERM, I think you have either read what YOU wanted to read and blame someone for YOUR mistake or you are confusing someone else's poor advice for an OL rep

Now we wait for the TD.... I was gonna do the caps but brundel himself said to wait for the td in my case...I like that. Shows he isn't out JUST to make money. I likely would have bought both but I'll try the caps at a later date. Probably gonna stack Viron with the TD since I'm coming off ostarine. Never used BLR products before but I'm excited to get my feet wet.

Do you have a SERM? Conventional wisdom for Ostarine nowadays is a SERM for PCT. you didn't mention it so if you don't have one planned already you could do the a full BLR PCT stack: Rebirth/Letrone/Viron. That would be sick! Letrone is strong so you might not strictly need a SERM but extra caution is always better than extra risk.

I am happy this came out and considered pulling the trigger on the oral AI, but I'm waiting for the TD. I am taking a couple of things and would like to start the oral AI in 5-6 weeks when I'm done with that to see how it runs on its own. I am kind of done with "fat burners" for the most part, beyond a few things I think have a marginal effect and some health benefits, but I'm gonna give this one a go when the TD comes out...mostly because I like Brundel's style. He reminds me of a quote from Ghostbusters:

The thing I noticed most about the TD is the appetite suppression. Two pumps in the morning and I wasn't hungry most of the day and would force grub in. That, combined with the AI and fat burning aspect makes this pretty untouchable. For a cut or recomp, I'd say the TD is going to make that effort so much more successful. Perfect for pool side leanness!

Glad to hear it. I saw Ghostbusters when it first came out and I was 5 years old. I didn't really watch it again until I was probably 19 and in college.
