I selected "Other."
I'd say...hands down...for me...my biggest concern is staying sane. Psychological and emotional health. I'm serious. I'm not going to go as far as saying watch out for "roid rage" or suicide or that be careful b/c you might go out and kill people. lol. But, being able to stay calm and relaxed throughout the day for me takes a lot of work and meditation. When I'm "off" its easier to center myself and find my inner peace than when "On." Not everyone is prone to psychological problems, but a lot of people are and totally neglect that aspect of their health. I get hyper. A wired feeling. I always believed that steroids act like an "emotional amplifier" that amplify whatever it is that your feeling. Sometimes its even happiness. Sometimes its depression. Sometimes its anger. Sometimes I have obsessive thoughts and become way too focused on negative events.
So, if I were going to startup, I would ask questions like: "Am I going through an emotional stressful time in my life right now?" "Will this affect my dating life or relationship?""Is the person I'm dating or involved with an emotional person?"
Man, I go through the girlfriends when I'm on stuff... It took me a long time to figure that out and learn to not let that **** get to me.
"Am I depressed right now?" "Do I get angry easily?" "Do I hold grudges?" "Can I deal with my own emotions right now?"
I don't think people give this **** any thought at all. Hell, I never did, and I had to go through some "stuff" to recognize the emotions that were being amplified that I couldn't control. Once you can learn to deal with that stuff, then you don't notice the emotional sides nearly as much.
Your going to stress out your bodies some. I get night sweats, insomnea, heart palps on occasion, bloating, sweating, bp increases, resting HR increases to 95-105, panic attacks, etc... The support supps helps some. They never did jack for my bp though... Only bp med works for me, but I am on bp meds while "off" anyway.
Talk to guys who've used about the emotional toll it can take. Not everyone is affected. I just talked to a guy at the gym the other day who used to use. Somehow we got on the topic of AAS, and the first thing he told me was, "Try to keep a girlfriend on that ****..." hahaha. We both laughed and both knew just how true that statement was... lol.
Certainly never worried about my nads coming back. lol. I see the funniest posts about people worrying about their testicles. lol. Do you realize there are guys who have been on steroids for 10-15 years without cycling? Guys who are still getting their wives or gf's pregnant btw! lol.
I do monitor my BP three times a day...but once I establish what my new BP is going to be on a new stack after a couple of weeks then I don't worry about it as much. Do your cardio, take your support supps, monitor your bloating, take your BP meds, etc.... BP is easy to treat. Keeping your cholesterol and lipids in check can be done through diet and support supps. Don't worry about cancers except prostate. Worry about heart valve problems...but do cardio in hopes that it helps some... Don't worry about liver...take your liver support...don't drink alcohol while on methyl's. Give your liver a rest from the methyl's, etc...
My biggest troubles come from the emotional sides...
