Snags im impressed, and am now feeling rather inadequate...my arms look like spaghetti...
My arms look like strings hanging from my sleeves compared to Steveslol
.. I rhymed![]()
Hey Steve, will you be posting your diet as well as your training routine in this log ?? I might have missed it if someone else asked the same question.
Subbed.
You know I'm here to watch this big brother!
You've inspired me to use your EAA + Leucine post workout instead of jumping right into the whey isolate and carbs. Thanks for the insight!
hey what are the benefits to your workout Snag?
nice snag! I just introduced DB flyes in and am liking them thus far. What does your elbow flex look like? Dead straight or slightly bent?
I have been using straight arm and can only get up to 40Lbs before it starts to put a problem on my deltoids. I will have to try a slight bend.I only do slight-bend in elbows myself, and prefer heavy weight such that I feel each and every rep. However, when I experiment with the old-school palms facing forwards DB flyes, I drop the weight, and use straight arm.

Check my 'edited' post above .. The tension in my deltoids is the primary reason for not doing them with straight-arms, but rather with a slight bend that remains the same throughout the motion.
Yeah I tried to bump up above 40Lbs today and it was putting a big pain and strain on my delts.Yep.. at the end, you want to be like you're hugging a tree. Keeping that same motion all the way thru. That's how I do mine anyway. Like Viking says, straight-arm will stress the delts.

The 'hugging a tree' quote is something that stuck with me from the first time I opened up Arnold's Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding. Arnold will remain a life-long inspiration, imho.
Haha! Exactly where I got the phrase from, many years ago. He explained the movement so well. Sure dude, Ah-nold will always be an icon in this sport! Even if he is a horrible Gov'nah..
Yes, an icon of bodybulding forever .. and he'll always be the one and only Terminator .. but I don't think he'll be recognized as a phenomenal actor in his lifetime; my brother and I caught Kindergarten Cop on Starz the other night, and I haven't seen that one since I was a kid .. needless to say, we laughed our asses off, but not cus it's a comedy, but because Ah-nold can't be taken seriously in any comedy flick, ever .. And Ah-nold being 'romantic' and flirtatious with the ladies ?! .. priceless! hahaha, I choked on my own breath while watching it.
.. Oh, and the bud only helped !
Subbed. Your wheels look great.
Russian!
Hahaaa, dude you kill me. You've got one of the best physiques on this forum bro, 6'2" at 210, 5% bf.. c'mon. I've learned a few things from you already, and I've only seen one of your threads. I accept this as a huge compliment! :box:
My wad would have been shot on that 205x24. And you still have the numbers you put up after that...nice strength and endurance Snag. I will be trying the EAA & Leucine mix as well. Are they both from MNT?
Huh? where?
As for the hugging a tree i found that at the top of a flye motion to bring your elbows in close instead of your hand at the finish really pulled my lower chest in the movement.
I do a swooping start low on the pec, with the same "tree hug" arm bend, finish at the mipple level. Bringing elbows in as close as i could accomodate, really weakened me but incorporated my lower chest in a way im not accustomed too.
Ahaa, D-Fly! That's what I'm talking about! Love your nuggets you bring to the threads, glad you're here! (Plus, I needed to have some feminine input to balance out all the testosterone that's sure to fly around up in here, haha..)
:welcome:
No problem. I would think 4-6 weeks is the maximum AUC (area under curve) for any supplement to exert peak effects; AP, P-Slin and the entire USP Labs being included. I say peak as the effects may continue for sometime after, and some may have been present prior to this 4-6 week period, but they most likely were not of a substantial nature.

Thanks Snag, however, I'm not sure if I'm capable of balancing out all the testosterone, 'cause Prime&PWFULL are making me kind of like Invalid Link Removed
Lookin' totally swole in those latest pics snag!! It appears you have rebounded from your bout of sickness.
I, on the other hand, am feeling under the weather this morning. Temperature changes and the like, no doubt. Feels like a stomach virus. But I'm determined to march on through it and work out here in a few. I've got a sneaky suspicion that I may see my oatmeal again!!
Okay. This part of the post is 15 minutes later. And I was right. I saw my oatmeal and orange again!! Damn!!
I'm going to wait about 15 minutes and eat me a banana. Then I'll drink my 3 scoop serving of JACKED and 5 extra grams of Beta-Alanine! I'm going to war....regardless!!!
Drop by my thread real quick and you'll see what changed my mind to go ahead and work out anyway.Thanx bro.. man I hope you don't have what I had, there ain't no working thru that shit my man -- God-like entity or mere mortal alike. It will put you down.
I have been using BCAA/EAA's and Na-Rala after my workouts for alomost a year now. I also use it over a whey drink before bed. I only wish that I had been doing so this entire time.
Looking great, Snag! It really looks like you've added some mass over the last couple of months.
I felt small and discouraged looking at those photos, but then I realized you have sixteen years on me.![]()
Same meal for me but, I slab Laura Scudders PB on the bread. I am going to start putting the eggs/bread(no PB) as my post w/o meal. The eggs digest so fast for me. I am usually starving half an hour after eating them.
Ezekiel bread is the best stuff in the world!
People always say the price is too high, but first of all, the price of bread has gone way up anyways (regular loaf is about $3), and secondly, since you have to freeze Ezekiel bread, you don't risk losing money by it going stale.
Abs-olutely.. plus you can't began to put a value on the clean carb source that it is, being flourless and all.. if anybody needs any more convincing, there's like a million pieces in each loaf too, cuz they're thin slices, thing lasts forever! It's really a hella value all things considered.
That is my mid-morning meal about 2 hours pre w/o.
I think it's 20 slices per loaf, correct? I eat two slices per day, so that's 10 days. $5.70/loaf = $0.57 cents per day. I think most people could handle that. If not, you've got bigger problems than not being able to eat flourless bread.
7 pages?! Looks like i'm late to the party
