Big, Not Bigs

The Neck

Well-known member
I've been noticing over the last couple of years or so the lack of knowledge that goes into gear use & setting up proper cycles. I think there's a big misconception on if "I do gear", I'll be able to blow up huge & become a pro BBer or I'll be able to bench press 800lbs and set world records. And there's just so much more to it than bangin 2g of test e/w & taking 150mg of orals. I've seen countless amounts of PLers who take high dosages of gear & can barely bench 350lbs or BBers who have nothing more than a bad case of bitch tit.

There's a lot to be said when it's comes to understanding half-lives, cycling lengths, dosages, durations, AIs, PCT, Diet, Organ supps, training routines, rest, etc. I'll be the first one to admit, that I took the road less traveled & learned by the school of hardknocks. My rant is done, what say you?

I agree completely. The lack of understanding is sad. Unfortunately, it will never change for the majority - because we are always looking for the quick fix and not willing to accept that "hey, he actually does just work really hard and eat right."

The first question I've always had asked to me when people walk up to me in a gym is "what are you on?" (of course, followed up with "how much do you bench?") because of course, it has to be some pill that's got me to look how I do - not the 10+ years of lifting weights regularly and eating right and understanding the nutritional aspects of it on the back end of that time.

I love learning about nutrition, health and drugs. I've studied steroids for the last few years just because they simply fascinate me.

I wish more people would put in the time to learn.

I wish more people could understand that. Steroids are such an amazing thing. Not only because we can use them and grow, but just the way they effect people differently. Good or bad. My girlfriend constantly asks me, "Why are you so obsessed with supplements and steroids and reading about them?" And all I can say is, "They're amazing!"

The problem is that steroids go hand in hand with impatience. Someone wants results now and they're too impatient to care about the consequences and don't care how it works. IMO they're just stupid people.

I researched steroids tons, each one I tried I would google for hours finding all the feedback I could. All the designer steroids had tons of logs. I searched for the logs across a lot of the main PH/AAS boards. It didn't take long for me to have it mostly figured out. What took more time was figuring out my bodies own unusual response to steroids.

But I love reading about steroids and they are fascinating. So i like talking about them and helping people out. But if someone wants to be an impatient dumbass and can only see 2 weeks ahead of them then whatever. Natural selection.

Natural selection.

Ah, a fellow Darwinist ;)

But seriously, I agree with both of you guys. I just find it irritating that the stigmas and rumors all point to people being able to juice and not make any other changes in a nowhere near perfect life style and POOF they're ripped.

Perfect example: one of the guys at my gym who is on his 2nd cycle of legit gear (a mutual friend has used from the same source and actually had decent results, so I know the stuff wasn't bunk) and doesn't even look remotely like it. He's probably 5'8" and 185 or so, but overweight (skinny-fat). His diet is flatout awful and it doesn't help that he still drinks like a fish. Spend all the money you want on juice, but if you're not gonna make sure all the rest of your ducks are in a row, then it won't do a whole lot of good.

I think you nailed it on the whole impatience theory. It's the get big quick/now mentality that get these guys in trouble. And they don't want to listen to people like us who have probably already made a few of those mistakes.
